Well, the question that comes to mind when I think about our new punter is, what relation is he (if any) to Christina Haack? Somehow I've never seen that last name in my life and it appears twice this year. Wikipedia doesn't have this answer, so I'll just throw it out there.

That assumes there is $9.85M of good will. I don't think that is the case.

I see posts about trading Hughes but I really question whether we can get enough value in trade. Who is going to offer up valuable picks or players for him at his age... only someone who is a 2021 contender. I can't see trading him for a 2022 4th rounder from a playoff team.

Hopefully this was a simple BPA pick. Within reason, if you end up with too many quality NFL players at one position, you try to trade one and if the doesn't work, the lowest performers get cut.

If one of our top 30 ranked players is available at #30 and they are good enough to contribute this year, pick 'em and dont worry about grade. If they are not going to be a factor this year, trade down. Trade up only if we have a target.

Maybe he did not like living in Buffalo and targeted LA.

I'll assume that we can trade this punter to a punter-needy team for a 2023 late round pick.

So does this mean that WFT is planning to draft their next franchise QB? Will they then start said QB by week 6 despite Fitz'play, only to see the rookie hurt by week 10? This is the new Fitz cycle.

Well, on the plus side, if he retires it will be time to start the 5 year campaign for Fitz to the HOF.

If he comes in at 250, try him at LB.

I think we would have lost to the Bucs, but I honestly believe we would have done better on offense if we had the same lineup as against the Chiefs, maybe even scoring 16-19 instead of 9. For whatever reason the Chiefs seriously laid an egg, probably due to the loss of both their tackles being too much to overcome. However, I don't see us having done better on defense, and possibly even worse, than KC did; so no, I do not think we would have won... more like 38-16 which is a bad beatdown. We need improvement on both lines and a better running game to compete, and either a new TE or to use our TE more effectively. The KC team we played, in my opinion, wasn't the same team that played in the SB. They lost a key OT, and they also just simply played below their normal level - it wasn't all Tampa Bay. Sometimes teams play differently week to week.

We should work on our OL and DL most of all. TE and RB are nice to have by comparison.

He did occasionally, but it only happens against teams with really fast defenses. The weaker teams can't corral him well enough to stop a throwaway. However, I am cautiously optimistic he can polish off the last few rough edges from his game in year 4. Let's stop him next year.

I watched the game because it is usually interesting to see really good teams play. I found myself not caring too much who won, since I am not a KC fan and not a TB fan. I despise Brady (and some of the other TB players), but I also don't like the Chiefs especially after the way they played us 2 weeks ago. I am not happy that Tampa Bay won, but neither am I unhappy that KC lost. What I feel, most of all, is the desire for the Bills to get better next year! He did hit the guy in the face on that throw.
