Brian Flores suing NFL, NY Giants, Dolphins, Broncos.
HalftimeAdjustment replied to BillsFan4's topic in The Stadium Wall
I guess I am unclear on the specifics of his case. Offering him money to lose is terrible. But is it evidence of racial discrimination or just terrible behavior by Ross? Like, is there reason to believe he would not have offered $100k/loss to (insert white coach)? -

Can't wait for Frazier to leave

No. Only Frazier is worth picks. -
What does Allen work on this summer?
HalftimeAdjustment replied to Meatloaf63's topic in The Stadium Wall
The runs to the sidelines or the wide open scrambles aren't so bad, he might need to slide more in non playoff scenarios. He did a decent job protecting himself this year. -

Haack Likely 1 and Done in Buffalo

Also you have to admit having a QB who can credibly punt, pass, OR run would make 4th and short pretty interesting. -

If Leslie Frazier gets a HC job, we get an extra 3rd this year and next, right? You could use the extra 3rd on him just to be sure and you haven't really lost much. Or, take a risk and trade down into the 4th. -
“We can smile today because we have Josh Allen”
HalftimeAdjustment replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
When he plays his best football in the playoffs (multiple games) nstead of melting down under pressure... that is a sign that he is a mentally elite QB. And that is the most important reason he won't regress. Of course he will still have a bad game from time to time, but I think he will be more consistent next year. -
What are the top three worst losses in franchise history?
HalftimeAdjustment replied to VaMilBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
It may not have just been that game... but allegedly, the Giants defensive players were coached to do 2 things to slow the no-huddle: 1) Interfere with the spotting of the ball 2) Fake injuries on the field. Basically these measures were used to give the defense a rest from the no-huddle offense and get prepared for the next play. Granted, these are mostly rumors. Anyhow, how awful is it that they sent Belichick's defensive game plan to the Hall of Fame? 🤮 -

Yes. We lost a Super Bowl 20-19 to a team that seemed clearly inferior. Our defense couldn't stop them when it counted. Possibly the worst part is knowing that Bill Parcells and Bill Belichick were involved, and hearing Parcells brag "power football wins". They changed the rules on 4th quarter injuries afterwards because Belichick abused the rulebook so much. -

Why do these threads keep happening? But... here are my rankings anyhow. SB25 ... SB28 SB27 SB26 ... "Music City Miracle" ... 1989 Ronnie Harmon drop 13 seconds ... Texans playoff loss Chiefs AFC champ loss ... Jim Kelly's last game ... Others Why don't I rank this loss higher? Because we lost to a team that was basically an even match, and we didn't get ripped off by some ref BS or something. We played well and got beat. In SB25, the MCM, and the Ronnie Harmon drop it felt like we lost to a worse team. And the other Super Bowl losses were all crushing regardless. -
The PFF "worm has turned" about Josh Allen
HalftimeAdjustment replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
In all seriousness, he needs to practice a bit more in windy conditions to judge the throws into the wind. Beyond that... if he could bottle his playoff performance there is nothing realistic to improve. However it was only a few weeks ago he had a passer rating of 17. I am sure there is some film study from the season to use. -
In regulation: Their offense scored 4 TDs, 3 FGs, and they missed a FG. They punted twice. That counts as either 2 full stops if only the punts count, or 3 if you include the missed FG. And 3 more partial stops with the FGs. Our offense scored 5 TDs and punted 4 times. So they in fact, stopped us 4 out of 9 drives while we stopped them from scoring 3 times out of 10 drives... and held them to 3pts on 3 out of 10 drives. If any of the 3 punts we had in the 1st half resulted in points, who knows what would have happened??

KC has now hosted the AFC championship 4 years in a row. It doesn't seem like it got any easier for them to maintain that streak, but they did. It also doesn't seem like this year was that much easier than last year (we lost 3 more games). There are plenty of competitive teams but that is true most years, really. We will never just be the undisputed #1 in the conference, most likely. But we can still win with the right coaching, talent, and luck.

Here's a plus. The Cheifs' set of ultra fast receivers will age/decline faster than Josh. -

We closed the gap in part because our quarterback put together back-to-back A-games in the playoffs, unlike some QBs who put up gaudy stats and fold in the postseason (paging Dak Prescott). I am happy that he is 25 and in the first year of a new contract. -
We shouldn't have had a drive earlier than went run run run punt.

These are the Bills we're talking about. Plus every other game ended on the last play of regulation... there was every reason to believe they could pull off a miracle since we had just pulled off basically 2 miracle drives ourselves.

I feel like Rousseau has shown promise. Not as much for the others... although the jury is out on Basham too I'd say.
