I know it was John Beck and the depleted Redskins offense but this was clearly the best game put together so far this year for the Bills CB trio of McGee, Florence and McKelvin. If nothing else it's good for a confidence booster and with Aaron Williams ready to come back any week, this CB unit may move from a major weakness in the first part of the season to a strength. McGee seems to be the glue of the unit, and with a few weeks of practice with the squad, it seems to be better as a whole. Here's hoping that this continues and the Bills rack up more sacks due to the good play of their cornerbacks

I too would be disappointed by anything short of a sweep against the Dolphins. We got a favorable schedule against them this year (down there in November and Buffalo in late December.) I'm not sure if we go 8-0 on the home slate (dumb that I even have to say that) but I'd say if we do we'd be more like a 11-5, 12-4 team because I don't see us going 8-0 at home and 1-7, 2-6 on the road. Don't forget, we already have the all important tie-breaker vrs. Oakland.

He excelled in Baltimore when he had the supporting cast around him. It's like that here on a much smaller scale...he plays better with the talent around him.

He's still a pretty good run stopper but he gives you nothing in the pass rush...I don't know...I think he looked a lot better with Williams, Merriman, and Kelsay around him.

We obviously need someone who is a threat to stretch the field. Is TO that threat, coming off of a leg injury at 37 years old? I'm not so sure. Either way they won't get someone settled in until after the bye I would imagine if they do look outside for help. As far as this week goes I think we need to see more Spiller in the slot.

It's almost like the ref went under the hood with the mindset that "I'm going to back up my guy no matter what." It happens a lot where a baffling call gets reviewed and the ref inexplicably says "Ruling on the field stands" with no further explanation. I think the refs should be required to announce the full explanation to the crowd after they make the call. They have to take no ownership. If they get criticized, the critic gets fined. They could do as horrible a job as they want with no repercussions. It is the same in all sports too. Just a joke.

It's hard to ref in the NFL.

They might match up well against us offensively but I think the same can be said for our offense. If they play that soft zone against us Gailey will pick it apart.

I'm trying to look at it realistically and we're facing two defenses that have played horrible in the past few weeks...we can get our offense back on track than we're coming off a bye.

Hard to go against the argument that great teams have to overcome bad calls...but Stevie did not drop that ball.
