As reported by Bills Daily and WGR, Mario in pads was at practice but was the last person on the field and went to the stationary bike. He left with the staff 30 minutes later. IMHO this guy has a head issue...maybe bi polar...maybe spoiled, maybe still whining about his flippin ring (what a wuss). Whatever it is I would put money on it that this is not physical. Would you not think that being first on the field would be a more appropriate statement for a guy who says he wants to be a leader. I hope I get to eat my words but this guy is a cancer.

We have a Bills song...haven't you heard

Mario's contract is basically a 2 year deal
Niagara Bill replied to mitchmurraydowntown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Where do you get the idea he is our best pass rusher. I think we will see he is not the sac leader this year and he will use the excuse he is double teamed etc. Bruce was doubled every play..and he was the leader each year...he was a leader. -

The trouble is last year when the bullets were live he didn't show up -
No, but the fight between Flutie and Johnson was never settled. I think they should both enter the squared circle on the 50 yard line and with "Mean Gene Okerland" as referee, should have a cage match until there is a clear winner. RJ can use wet noodles as a weapon and Flutie could use Flutie Flakes. The curse would then be removed.

Jay Leno --- just for laughs

I bet he can't watch you either -
This entire thread is somewhat off balance. This whole case and result is a commentary on society ills, economic and educational in particular. Most of the B&W issue is based on these problems in 2013. This is the same reaction to "if the glove doesn't fit you must acquit". I recall the exact reaction when OJ beat the "man". If this verdict comes out in January there are no protests.

Good post until you get to the point the Bills offer is sub-market. That only is true if you think Byrd fits in that order in the market. I for one have always believe that Byrd is soft and he is the typical Parker client. Focus on $$$$ and nothing on team. I can accept any player who is 75% money and 25% team...family comes first...but 100% money usually comes from players who lack real fortitude for the game.

Why do the Bills have to sign Byrd? He needs to sit for the season. I don't see him in the top category of safeties..

Byrd Skipping mandatory mini-camp
Niagara Bill replied to mitchmurraydowntown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Parker has always been about the money. He has shown that is his only concern...see M. Crabtree as an example. I am not saying that is bad for his client, but as a Bills fan who wants the best for the team our goals make the team approach and his approach on money only significantly different. There is no middle when you are not on the same page. I spent 30 years bargaining labor contracts. I have met "Parkers". Why do you never tell the car salesman that you love the car. Because he is about "money" and you about " the car and money" and he wins. -
Byrd Skipping mandatory mini-camp
Niagara Bill replied to mitchmurraydowntown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here is what I think about bargaining people like Parker. He does not respect the game , for him it is about money and no other item appears on his list I believe the only way for the Bills or any other team to deal with Parker is to be the same. What Parker does is wait until the team shows it's priority to football and then he gets what he wants. Either a contract or a trade. In either case he gets the money. As a great negotiator Herb Cohen says...it is not about the money it is about the MONEY. If the Bills make a respectful offer they must then be prepared to allow Byrd to sit out. It must be about the money for the Bills as well. It appears to me the even if Byrd comes to camp, he will not play well, he will be disruptive. He must understand it is his career, not Parker's money game. No game, no money. -

Lem Barney, HOFer, says football will be done in 10-20 years
Niagara Bill replied to bbb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This will not be about the PC police..it will be the lawyers and the courts that will be the death of football. I question the step that has the NFL involved in little leagues across the country. That is the direct link the trial lawyers would be looking for. Follow the $$$$$$$. -
Geno Smith "not overwhelming"
Niagara Bill replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You don't get it. It is our job to rip anything that has to do with the Jests...we hate them and wish the team and all their players coaches and staff nothing but bad luck and bad performances. I would think that after your 5000 posts you may have figured out this is a pro Bills venue...but then again a Jests fan can't read as I hear it. So get it straight...Geno Smith = Bust......EJ = HOF -
Is Jim Kelly ill ?? (update - has cancer)
Niagara Bill replied to mitchmurraydowntown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly, no one has done more for this team and community than Jim. If there is some serious issue he has my support and respect. If there is NO issue he has my admiration and respect. -
why did they not change the term "at bats" to "ats bat". I have always hated the fact that baseball people allowed such a change since in todays culture the use of a word or phrase is allowed to change and new words developed and added to the dictionary each year. Culture had created the term RBI's not bad English language. I needed to vent on this, thanks. Can anyone think of any other terms the English police have changed?

( and Canada is no different than the US in this regard) that the President and Commander and Chief needs to go to the press and call for the closure of Gitmo. Do our leaders have so little power. Can he not just order the military to do it. Are all decisions so political that all must be done through the court of public opinion. Surely is 5 years they could have found the legal way of proceeding. I am not suggesting it should be closed, but seems to me if the C&C wants it done..it should be a simple process. Any comments would be helpful.

Now this is the biggest load of crapola I have heard this week. So, since we plan to throw a lot in a hurry up offence then running backs are not important. We plan on running the ball more and getting more first downs so a punter is not as important. All they are trying to do is cover up that fact they pizzed on Levitre and he left. We tend to eat our own good ones.

Class guy, very helpful in presenting Bills players for the HOF consideration for many years. Met Larry at camp and he was a sports guy for sure. Loved his columns and looked forward to his post game reflections. R.I.P.

With our draft history there is only a slim chance of picking the right guy and developing him in any event. Whether we draft a QB this year, trade a first round pick for one (RJ), or draft next year I will not be sad or happy. We did not even develop Jim Kelly, he prepared in the USFL. It is easier for us to select McCargo, Maybin, Losman, Patulski vs Bruuuuce. When do something smart we screw it up, like Lynch, McGahee, Levitre etc
