I am praying that Marrone gets a HC job. This is an interesting year as far as coaching jobs go. There seems to be more good candidates than jobs. We could almost back into a good one coming to Buffalo by default. If he takes up a spot, that leaves another guy available for us to pick from. After Atlanta and SF we are probably the best job out there (maybe Chi?). Nothing would make me happier than Marrone bumping a legit coach our way.

I agree. I am really confused by the stance of some on here with regards to Schwartz. There seems to be an overwhelming fear that we are going to somehow loose the guy or piss him off. You have to put yourself in his shoes. He has had no HC interviews other than us. It is in his best interest for the Bills offense to improve, thereby improving the overall team. And for him to show up to work, coach the hell out of our stud defense for another year, and ride that wave into another HC gig in 2016. Schwartzs' best bet is to stay put, get on board with the new HC (even if he is a "greener" guy) and have the Bills D ball out one more year.

The difference though is what has come to light the past week. It is not a normal situation, honestly it is pretty close to unprecedented. Digging in your heels and claiming that everything we thought before is still valid makes no sense. If you can't question and discuss things on an internet message board, then where?

That is an interesting take. I can't say I disagree. The quality of the defense probably aided in the decision.

The question though was would you take Gailey as an upgrade over Nasty Nate. That assumes this current teams defense. The answer to that question has to be yes.

There is no doubt he was a little nuts with the 5 wide, but at least with Chan they scored TD's. The bills scored 83 TD's from 2011-2012. The past 2 seasons (I know there is one game left) they have scored 66 TD's. Give me Chan over Nate all day.

I can't tell you how many times this season I uttered: "Man, I miss Chan calling plays". Say what you will, but the guy knew how to maximize what he had.

I like to think I follow the Bills relatively closely, but I have to admit. This is 2 games in 3 weeks where I had to ask who the hell is that guy. First it was #48 aka Big Sammy. And this week it was #30 Rambo. I knew we had picked them both up, but to see them make a play threw me off. I can't remember a season when it has happened once, let alone twice. Anyone else have this happen, or do I just need to step up my game?

We definitely gave the Houston game away, but I agree on the Watt play. The KC game was full of self inflicted errors. We had to screw up 3 or 4 things to lose that game and we managed to do just that.
