  1. But, on paper our D should be better than either of those teams. I agree with the OP's point. That train of thought is where I've been since we traded for him. Sure it would be better for TT or EJ to steal the job and give the coaches no choice, but Cassell still gives us a great shot IMHO.
  2. I cant wait to overreact to EJ's first incompletion.
  3. Yes. It's close to being funny, but cant be because it is too sad. We literally had to stomach Brandon and St. Doug's "analytics pitch" 5 minutes before they did as bad of a job at analytics as you could possibly do. A blindfolded monkey throwing darts at the playbook would have done a better job. And again, that's not to be funny. Like, that's the real truth.
  4. St. Doug was real bad at analytics. Real bad.
  5. Ross Cockrell is out of Rice and Urbik played good ball last year. Informative... Honestly he was pretty knowledgeable. I just cant wait for week 1.
  6. Wow, what a story about Bentley. That guy is a maniac. You've got to respect that kind of determination.
  7. Throatzilla huh? Man, her parents didn't even give her a chance.
  8. Agree, he's never been good, but now he seems like he's trying to be a blatant a-hole.
  9. Man...that's cutting it really close. 7:30PM is the latest flight I've ever done and it was stressful. Plus, you're going to want to stick around for that party!
  10. Save the click, it's O'Leary and Darby. O'Leary made no sense in the 6th because he will likely be a backup?!?! Quality work right there.
  11. It's not about inventing anything and that's not what the OP implied at all. But as your usual shtick dictates you put words in his mouth. That's like saying you invented playing the devils advocated on a fine line that is border line trolling. You didn't...it's just how you choose to play the game. It's called a trend not an invention. Certainly there is more passing right now. As such teams are more often built to stop the pass. If the o-line can figure it out and Roman can keep defenses on their toes just enough with the pass...we will be a team that opposing teams hate to play. Other teams haven't hated to play us for a long time. That alone will be an upgrade and fun to watch.
  12. I hated him before, during and after his pursuit of the Bills. So yes.
  13. I remember this place being doom and gloom when EJ went down against Cleveland in his rookie year. It reminds me of a line from Gladiator..."the crowd is fickle".
  14. Totally agree with this. Kujo has a shot on the right side and Henderson can come in as a swing tackle without a huge drop-off.
  15. Carpenter and Hughes could be considered "prow-bowl caliber" as well if you ask me. I'd probably switch Harvin and Watkins.
  16. What is Delhomme up to anyway...
  17. Well it would have been broken, but every time someone brings it up it adds a year to the curse......THANKS!
  18. I am starting to come around about Cassel a little bit. When you look at the weapons he will have on paper, it's pretty impressive. All he has to do is not royally screw it up. I think he can handle it. We'll see I guess.
  19. Agree about Fred. He has that "flowing" running style. Nothing is super fast, but if there is a crease he will find it and fall forward. I love Rex. I think he has made our team relevant again and will bring a confidence that we have needed for a long time. But as far as X's and O's, I am so pumped about Roman. I can not wait to watch this team on offense. I think we will finally be able to enjoy that side of the ball again.
  20. This is great. It's nice to just talk football. Thanks for the links. It seems we have the perfect pieces in place to run this scheme. McCoy is a tougher runner than he is given credit for and his vision is unreal. I am not going to miss the old "Spiller up the middle for a half yard" play 20 times a game.
  21. I didn't click the link, but the Jags gotta be number 1 right?
