  1. I get that, but it makes this feel like a wasted season—especially since they had an early advantage over the xfl. People will remember how empty the stadium is for most of the games, and it will color their perspective of the league and it’s worth. Is it fair? Probably not, but that will be the likely outcome. At the end of the day, I just want one of these leagues to stick, and I’d like to be able to attend a game or two as well. Maybe I’m just impatient
  2. Putting all of the games in Birmingham was such a mistake. When the league schedule was announced, I immediately tried to find tickets to the Tampa team’s home opener. It was a disappointment to realize that there would be no regional games. Logistically, it made sense, and I’ll still watch a game or two, but I really don’t feel any connection to the league or local team. They at least should have picked a bigger hub or regional hubs.
  3. I wish I had a crystal ball because I’d agree with you in good weather. In bad weather, give me the Chargers all day.
  4. I’m very glad to have been wrong here, lol
  5. This is a good point, lol. I’d hate to be a Colts fan tonight. What a rough way to end the year.
  6. I’m rooting for the Raiders tonight, that’s for sure. Added later and auto-combined with last post for some reason: All of the people here assuming NE won’t come back and win this game must not watch many Dolphins games. They are more than capable of coughing up a ten-point lead. Probably 50/50, imho. I don’t live in NY, but if I did, I’d go put some money on the Patriots now with the odds against them—assuming you can do that sort of thing.
  7. This. Love him as a player, but not as our returner.
  8. He looked upset at himself on the sidelines. Hopefully, he learned something there. That was bad all the way around.
  9. Don’t want to be “that guy,” but so long as Bills win this game, that interception might not be terrible in the long term. Allen does need to learn to be patient and take what the defense gives him.
  10. D. J. Moore is such a talented player. Bad luck that he’s on the Panthers.
  11. Probably the best outcome for Buffalo. Chargers only really in if they knock off Denver and the Raiders, which would remove those teams from the equation. The Bills are built to play a team like KC too, so I’d rather have them on top of the AFC West.
  12. I like McDermott, but Daboll has been such a disappointment this year
  13. This would be a great place for McKenzie and creative running plays…
  14. The refs are letting them play today. It’s weird but refreshing. I think they held off there because the ball wasn’t really catchable.
  15. I like McKenzie a lot as a player, but messing with the return game this off-season seemed like a foolish decision then, and it hasn’t unfolded well so far. I don’t even think he’s that bad, but we just had such an automatically good thing going. Was saving some $ and the roster spot really worth it?
  16. I'd agree if Winston were still playing, but it looks like he will be out for a while.
  17. If I’m a Lions fan, I’m excited for the future. They have the right coach in place. A full rebuild awaits, but it’s a good start.
  18. Sometimes you play a game and lose. It happens. They have two weeks to dwell on this, learn, and use it as motivation. I am confident that they will respond.
  19. Titans seem like they have our number. Regardless of the outcome, I hope we don’t play them again this season.
  20. In for both! I tried the elimination league last year for the first time and picked against Jacksonville Week 1, lol. Hopefully, I’ll do better this season.
