    Always glad to see Fitz do well. I don't think he'll be able to sustain it all season, but he's a good guy and a warrior. If he had the physical tools, he'd be an all-pro. A successful coaching career is in his future, IMO.

    Pulling for Jets. I think the dolphins are the more talented team and most capable of making a run. As a result, I would prefer to see them dig too big of a hole early in the year. Jets might start hot, but will fade as the season progresses. That is fitzpatrick's historic pattern.

    Considering our QB situation, I'd hope that Buffalo would be trying to acquire him if he were available. Just need a QB to make this team into a real force. His recent issues aside, he would immediately become our starter. Edit: I'd give up a 3rd or 2nd that can become a first depending on whether Bills make playoffs.

    First pick in the draft? I'm talking about shipping a 6th or 7th, nothing more. If that isn't possible, then, of course, you don't do it.

    We are only a QB away from doing this. If he can be had for a late round pick, do it. Let all of the QBs compete in training camp and preseason and then choose the best three. Screw loyalty to any of our current QBs. I'm sure they are all great people, but for the first time in a while, we have a window opening.

    Yeah, but in all fairness, that was with a fully inflated football. That's an apples and oranges comparison for them, I think.

    That's a good point. Not a bad year to have three mediocre players (assuming they bring in one more) and surround them with talent. If one person goes down, next steps in.

    Step 1, responsible agent should be permanently banned from working with NFL players. Step 2, if it's that bad, ban Dez for at least a year. I don't care about the legal situation. This crap is out of hand.

    That seems a bit harsh. I'm not saying he'd light the world on fire, but I'd shoot a 6th over there for him (assuming Tampa just wants any kind of compensation). He had his moments during the previous year, before the offensive line went to crap.

    If we bring him in for nothing and use him as a 3rd option behind EJ and another free agent, why not? We can't have enough QBs on the roster.
