  1. Ralph not only needs to fire Jauron, he needs to hire a proven winner. To me the last few years have been like the post - Saban era (the second Saban era). Ralph was losing the fan base so he was forced to go out and hire Chuck Knox. We should settle for nothing less than Cowher, Jimmy Johnson, or at the very least Schottenheimer.
  2. 11th ranked defense? This is why I hate stats. They couldn't get off the field. When you give up 7 minute 80 yard drives over and over again, the opposition doesn't really stack up the stats, but we never have the damn ball. When the chips are down, they don't make plays.
  3. If JP starts next week, I'm going to have a hard time tuning in. I don't think I've ever said that before, even when they were 2-12.
  4. How pissed JP looked? They had a close up on JP after the play, and I swear he said "Nice hands" to Royal when he got to the huddle.
  5. The bomb to Evans that was way over his head..... Evans got tangled up with the DB. JP threw it to where he would have been. I don't blame JP for that one. I suppose that the main reason Ralph isn't in the HOF is that the rest of the league views him as inept. I've had the rose colored glasses on for a long time, hoping for things to turn around, but really we are a half step beond the obvious laughing stocks... Detroit and Cincinnati. Just enough to keep us off that radar screen.
  6. Read the crap in The Smoking Gun about Vick. You wouldn't want the scumbag living in the same county as you.
  7. Ralph (Detroit): Chris, get your facts straight on John Butler. The donut costs alone were staggering. And Tom Donahoe? Bledsoe, Losman, McGahee. The defense rests. Chris Mortensen: (11:51 AM ET ) Look, ex-GM Tom Donohoe did a great job. Why noone has offered him a job in three years is beyond me.. I still say, be patient.
  8. I think Butler coming back made a huge difference on that OL. They were waaaay better.
  9. Super zoom lenses with lip reading specialists Super Bowl cheaters
  10. Wonder how long Martz will last there.
  11. 1. Is a one legged McGee better than McKelvin? When is McKelvin's statue of limitations up for when we can officially call him a bust? Also, on returns, someone please tell Leodis that the goal is to run away from the other team, not right at them. 2. Where was Lynch on that first goalline series? Are you telling me that Beast Mode couldn't have punched it in there? 3. I never like having any sort of kicker being a captain, but Moorman showed why he is one after his heads up play when the ball was snapped over his head. Any other punter would have given up at least a safety there. 4. Good thing Peters came back. The way he's playing he's going to save us a lot of money NOT giving him any sort of extension. 5. Trent did look a little out of sorts, even jumpy. But who could blame him since Peters and Dockery couldn't even slow anybody down on Trent's blind side. 6. Does Josh Reed really mean that much to this offense? I find this hard to believe, but Hardy and Parrish didn't do much. 7. Evans sure had a hard time getting any separation.
  12. That game Fergy showed more guts than he had in his entire career up to then.
  13. When we beat the antichrist, Don Shula, in his last game, it proved to me that there is a God.
  14. Don Nottingham Czonka Paul Warfield Griese Man, how I hated those guys. I'm not real fond of Pat Toomay or Dempsey either
  15. Ralph wouldn't do it. He wouldn't want to hurt anybody.
  16. When the White Sox won the World Series in 2005, "Don't Stop Believing" was their theme song.
  17. Was this the game where Mike Stratton blasted Keith Lincoln?
  18. Dude, if you think you can win a game with JP, you don't know squat about football. JP apologists can quote stats all day long, but watch him play. He doesn't have a clue on the field. He's Rick Mirer reincarnated. 2 fumbles, 5 sacks, 1 pick.
  19. Two fumbles Five sacks one int. Game over.
