Deferring didn't work out so well in the Oakland game. Personally, I want the ball. I would only defer if there is a 30 mph wind that I would want in the 4th quarter.

Wire looked good standing around the pile once the play was over.

Peters isn't going to get any better if he doesn't play. But based on what we've seen so far, he could be replaced with options we already have on the roster without much overall effect.

His comments were for the future, not the past. It would do no good to throw Peters under the bus at the PC. Peters now knows that the coach has his back, and hopefully that will help motivate him to play better.

Reed will flourish with a QB who gets the ball out when he's supposed to. The old Bills of the past few years would have panicked and folded when the Jags took the lead on them in the 3rd quarter. It was great to see them maintain their composure and methodically go down the field on them. Before the season started, I would have been thrilled with a split of these first two games. After watching the Pats* and Jets, I'm convinced that we have a legitimate shot to win the division.
