The Byrd tackle on Glennon is a prime example....the league is inexorably moving toward flag football rules level and I am not interested in that product. Perfect example of Hackett's, at times, mindless play calling. Maybe an experienced QB could have overridden the call(s). Then in the last series, you have to at least move the ball a few yards or you are sure to lose. You don't get a another chance to score when it's sudden death. I would have gone for it on fourth(a fake punt) and I also would have called 3 pass plays. That was the exact time to NOT be conservative.

Suggestion for the NFL: hire clowns from Barnun and Bailey to officiate all future Bills/Pats games. They should able to keep their clown suits on for the game. The Bills may get fairer results because the clowns may not know which team gets the favored treatment.

I agree that this is a big part of the mix. Byrd has a swelled head (cultivated by Parker) and I see him as useless to the team with his newly blossomed prima donna attitude. The big problem will be getting decent trade value. I'd be happy with a single 2nd if we could get it.
