  1. Yes Tim Anderson - now that he's gained wt did he trade some verticle - to improve the MASS in A$$ measurement which might be the most important measurement for DT.
  2. I agree with the Bills trading down into the 20s except with KC for their 1st, 2nd and 5th with their 1st I'd say Timmons LB more upside than the POZ 2a Justin Blalock OG too good to pass on at this point 2b Dwayne Jarrett - poor 40s move Jarrett and Rice into the 2nd round as Steve Smith and Craig Davis move ahead of them- Bills already have a WR who can really stretch the field and can take a size, hands combination. 3a David Irons CB- smart guy good guy 3b Buster Davis LB Ditto 4 Antwan Barnes LB workout warrior 5 Jackie Battle RB/FB Ditto 6 Courtney Brown CB Cal-Poly not to be confused with Courtney Brown New Mexico State 7a Laurent Robinson WR could develope into a very nice two or three 7b Nate Ilaoa RB/FB bowling ball with good hands After draft move- the Bills give next years 3rd from Balt to Tenn for Randy Starks the Bills really are waiting for the 2008 draft to address RB
  3. AGILITY TESTS 4.96 in the 40-yard dash … 500-pound bench press … 600-pound squat … 370-pound power clean … 33-inch vertical jump … 9-foot-4 broad jump … 4.02 in the 20-yard shuttle … 32½-inch arm length … 10½-inch hands
  4. I thought you were talking about Buster Davis LB- my bad
  5. I believe the WRs will fall like this CJ 1-4 TG 10-16 RM 15-25 DB 20-30 DJ 25-35 SR 30-40 I believe a team will move up for Ted Ginn because of his return ability more than his pure WR ability I believe that the Bills will trade down into the 20's and pick up a 2nd plus a second day pick I think the Bills will take the best LB,WR,DB available Timmons, POZ, / Meachem, Bowe, Jarrett, at DB there are 4 or 5 CBs rated as 1st rounders I expect 2-3 of them to still be avail -also don't rule out the Bills grabbing a safety like Michael Griffin and converting him to CB.
  6. so are you saying they'd start him even if he wasn't the best player?
  7. I think this theory that the Pats can win with Brady and nothing else is just hogwash- Cory Dillion was a very good player he's lost a step and they have tried to conpensate with Faulk and Mauroney (sp) - Branch was a very good player and they lose him and it hurt them this year but they are taking steps to correct the weakness at WR- Daniel Graham and Ben Watson were a better than ave tight end pairing- it seems to me you write much more than you think.
  8. Langston Walker at 366lbs will not be starting at right tackle or right guard- Ill bet some combination of Pennington, Butler, Preston will fill those two positions.
  9. The cover 2 can work but you need really quick DTs - Warren Sapp, Tommy Harris - small guys who are kind of quick just don,t cut it and will get caught and pushed out-really you might be better off putting extremely quick 250lbs in at tackle cause the idea is to explode into the gap virtually untouched.
  10. You don't need an all star RB to win but you really need 3 premire skill players - it could be WR, TE, really good 2nd WR and then a couple of RBs who can bang- right now the Bills got 1 great WR Lee Evans and that's it-
  11. Ngata wouldn't fit in with DTs who get pushed around like shopping carts- yeah I guess you have a point there.
  12. My prediction is Ted Ginn is the 2nd WR taken but based more on his return ability than as a WR
  13. I expect the Bills to trade down into the 20s and pick up extra picks- I think the Bills want the offense centered around the passing game and want to give J.P. more options than he had last year- I could see a draft like 1. Meachem, Jarret, or Bowes WRs 2a. Zach Miller TE 2b. David Harris LB or 1. Tillman or POZ 2a Zach Miller TE 2b Jason Hill WR
  14. Dockery is a good pickup - D Walker is an improvement over what we had at DT- the losses of Clements, Fletcher, MaGahee, and Spikes will hurt in the short run (2007) but will help in the long run- If and it's a big if, the Bills draft well and extend key players wisely-overall the Bills are less talented now than at the end of 2006 but that's ok sometimes you have to take a step back so you can go on the right path- the way to build a team is to get a good young core of players together through the draft and very selective use of FA until you got a 10-6 team then you can go out and get a few high priced vets to try to get you over the hump and into the superbowl- one thing Tommy D did wrong in my opinion was trying to get flashy players when the core wasn't built.
  15. This trade is good for the longterm but won't help us for 2007- most of the Bills moves point to rebuilding, restructoring, regrouping or resomething- which I'm ok with- I always get flamed for looking at the Bills in a realistic manner- but I was pretty happy last season as the Bills exceded my expectations (6-10) by going 7-9 while a lot of Bills fans who were predicting a superbowl contender were doubling up on their anti-depresants and kicking their dogs - at least thats what I gather from reading their posts.
  16. I don't know how they can doubt us when we make the playoffs every year
  17. I wish they would get rid od this crap cause the Bills never get anything.
  18. I've looked at a bunch of draft guides and this is a sad sad year for them- wrong heights, weights and 40s- weird team needs- I've seen Lynch rated as the 6 best back behind AP, KI,AP, MB, TH- but that was not as bad as rating okoye behind pitcock and tank tyler
  19. yeah it's possible - old time strong men did crap like that all the time- like jumping over fences with 2x 100 pound sacks of grain- it's kind of cool - but a good way to injure yourself
  20. "I'm curious how the board would feel if we took the best defensive player on the board with our first pick but it wasn't for a position of need. Everyone feels that we have to have a CB, LB or a DT with our first pick. What if the best player was a S or DE when we pick? Should we do it? I say hell yeah. I would love to have Landry or Carriker. Players like these you make room for them." I've seen mocks where the Bills take Landry and I've heard rumblings about Carriker playing the DT position- alot of teams shy away from the tall DTs cause their afraid they will get their knees cut too many times- and have season ending injuries- but if the Bills are serious about rotating DL men in and out all the time maybe this will be less a concern.
  21. a 4th is ok but your not using it to move up anywhere that matters.
  22. I don't endorse this but I could see him picked as a DT
  23. I draft 2 WRs in the 7th round hardly an emphansis- an emphansis would be trading up for Calvin Johnson- I question the reading ability of many on this board- btw are you dating Peerless - you defend him harder than the mother on American Idol defends her talentless child's signing.
