  1. I think the Bills will try to trade down to the low 20's- and then follow their Board- whoever's rated highest among- DT, LB, RB, CB-
  2. you can not like it- fine -but it's two moves one down and one up
  3. we have big needs at LB,DT,CB,RB and to a lesser extent WR, TE you just can't fill all those holes in one draft
  4. peerless price can we trade him again to Atlanta I'd take a 2nd this time
  5. possible trades - according to draft pick trade value- if other teams willing- the team trading up usually pays a little more trade up to 4 Bills would give picks 12, 43, 92- this trade 12 points tampa's favor to trade up to 2 Bills would give picks 12,43,74,92,107 and next years 1st - WOW trade down 12 to 20 with giants and get second round pick 51- this trade is 40 points in our favor trade down 12 to 31 with CHi and get high 2nd 37and a 3rd 94- 64 in our favor trade down 12 for Atlanta's 39, 44, 75, 170- about 14 poins in our favor
  6. unscientific but Chandler looks like a goofy kid I use to know while Patrick looks like a mean mother.
  7. I like it - but I must tweek 20 Willis ILB 43 to Chargers for M Turner RB 47 Wright CB 74 Manny Ramirez OG 81 Ben Patrick TE 92 Fred Bennett CB 107 Paul Williams WR
  8. Using draft pick trade value chart and a palyer ranking charts is just a way to keep things reasonable - and yes I'm giving up on potential stars - Lynch, Willis, to cover more needs- RB, CB, LB, DT, WR
  9. Exactly what has you stumped? Bills trade their 1st which is pick 12 to Atlanta for their 2nd, the 2nd Atl aquired form Houston and Atl's 3rd- the Bills then use the 3rd from Atl and the 3rd from Balt (McGahee trade) to move back into the 2nd round =pick (56)- it's two trades not rocket science, Brain surgery, or taxes.
  10. Bills trade pick 12 to Atlanta for picks 39,44, and 75 Bills trade picks 75 and 92 from Balt for pick 56 from Den Bills now have pick 39, 43,44,56, 74, 107, 169, 203, 220 or 2a 2b 2c 2d 3 4 6 7a 7b 2a traded to Chargers for M Turner RB- Chairman of RB Commitee for Bills 2b Marcus McCauley CB 2c Eric Wright CB flawed but talented CBs to compete with Youboty 2d David Harris ILB- can attack if nothing else 3 Marcus Thomas DT- another quick DT for the rotation 4 Antwan Barnes OLB- great athlete, special teams potential while learning 6 Nate llaoa RB- good receiving ability for a bowling ball 7a Laurent Robinson WR 7b Jordan Kent WR good height, and hops Flame away good people
  11. What about Antwan Barnes 240 and a 4.44 40- small school but dominated there
  12. I'll put James Lofton at 1. over Rice at 2 anyone who can play 16 seasons and have an 18.3 career ave ypc gets my vote. 1978 Green Bay Packers 16 0 46 818 17.8 0 6 0 0 0 1979 Green Bay Packers 16 0 54 968 17.9 0 4 0 0 0 1980 Green Bay Packers 16 0 71 1226 17.3 0 4 0 0 0 1981 Green Bay Packers 16 0 71 1294 18.2 0 8 0 0 0 1982 Green Bay Packers 9 0 35 696 19.9 0 4 0 0 0 1983 Green Bay Packers 16 0 58 1300 22.4 0 8 0 0 0 1984 Green Bay Packers 16 0 62 1361 22.0 0 7 0 0 0 1985 Green Bay Packers 16 0 69 1153 16.7 0 4 0 0 0 1986 Green Bay Packers 15 0 64 840 13.1 0 4 0 0 0 1987 L.A. 13. Why doesn't someone tell me the position that is bust proof for the first round? QB bust - um Oline wait bust- DT bust bust bust, LB busty bust bust, WR whole lot of bust, CB bust , DE isn't Courtney Brown the greatest no he's a bust- Can anyone think of a safety or TE that was a total first round bust I can't off hand but I'm sure there was.
  14. Depends what happens on the right side- if they can get a decent RT, RG out of Walker, Butler, Mertz, Preston and Pennington- we will be good - the "if you throw enough crap some of it will stick" theory of football.
  15. You don't - the same way you don't know if a DT is the next Ryan Simms- or a Oline guy is the next Tony Manderich (sp) or Mike Williams- or the QB you take high won't suck- or your wr is the next Mike Williams or Charles Rogers- SO why don't we take a freaking punter I can't recall a punter being taken high in the first round being a bust.
  16. bruce was 300+ his first year 285 the next lost another 10 and played at 275 for 4 or 5 years then trimed down another 5 or 10 his last couple years with the Bills .
  17. Boone was I guy I'd hoped the Bills would get - but no biggie
  18. say what you want about London and Nate and I agree that for the Long term not signing them is the right thing to do - but the Bills got 13 interceptions last year and 7 of them came from Nate (3) and London (4) of those 13 ints two were returned for TDs London 1 Nate 1- Maybe the Bills will be better in 2007 but for now it's all based on hope- we hope McCargo's foot heals and doesn't keep getting injured and that McCargo gets that chubby body in better shape- we hope that the Bills are right about Langston Walker and that everybody else is wrong- we Hope that Spikes and Crowell come back strong from injury or that we draft a stud LB- we hope Youbooty is the real deal at corner back- we hope our run game is strong or that we get another receiving threat so Evans isn't tripled covered every down.
  19. 1. As of now Dockery is the only step forward the Bills have made in the offseason everything else has been a step backwards or treading water. 2. Langston Walker will be an excellent indicator to how smart the Bills front office is - most average people who have watched Walker play thinks he sucks - the Bills talent evaluators saw something else- so Langston better be pretty good cause if you're being paid to pick talent and you can't do it as good as the fans then you should get your butt fired. 3. Trading Willis was the right thing to do but it's crazy to think it makes the Bills better this year- oh and I was a little more excited when it was a 2nd and 5th instead of the 3rd and 7th with a 3rd next year. 4. ditto London and Nate- had to let them go but it doesn't make us better this year. 5. If a team moves up to get the Bills pick at 12 I think the Player it will be for is Ted Ginn - his kick returning ability will be very attractive to some teams. 6. People down grade WRs but Calvin Johnson is the most complete WR I can ever remember and you'd have to admit Evans, Parrish, Johnson would have to be one of the scariest set of receivers for a defensive coordinator to game plan for.
  20. I would agree with Marcus Bell, I'll add Alphonso Boone if he hasn't been signed yet- Ian Scott I'd rank third.
  21. the picks listed do not add up to the value of the second pick - 2600 but the Bills could move up to the 4th pick from Tampa worth 1800 by giving up 12th- 1200 46th-480 and the 92th 132= 1812 of course if Calvin Johnson, Joe Thomas, and Adrian Peterson are all taken then the Bills are kinda screwed.
  22. I think with as many needs as the Bills have you take whoever you have rated the best- if players are rated closely then you remember the world theory of drafting which states there is a very limited number of large (260-360lbs) athletic men in the world and when you have a chance to take one you do it. So with that in mind- 1. Peterson 2. Branch 3. Okoye 4. Lynch 5. Willis
  23. trade 12, 43, 92, to tampa for the 4th pick and take Calvin Johnson WR 3rd Buster Davis LB 4th Quinton Black LB 6th Antwan Barnes LB 7a Nate llaoa RB 7b Tyrone Moss RB trade Spikes to Washington for Shawn Springs - sign AnthonyBoone DT
  24. I like Parish in the slot- trade up for Calvin Johnson- Johnson, Parish, Evans in a 3 wr set not too shabby.
