  1. if healthy and at right weight I'd have him 3rd or 4th in that group
  2. Boo Freaken Hoo- you're worthless and weak- your robot body must be rusty with tears- maybe you can open up a thread where we all talk about our feelings- for the love of God man up and grow a set.
  3. if the Bills want more respect they should do something novel like winning- the team that really gets no respect is (at least on this board) New England every year is the year they're going to be exposed as the talentless frauds they are and every year they are in the hunt- when the Bills were kicking a$$ and taking names they got plenty of respect- if Ralph could have made nice with Bill Polian we would have never entered this decade of loserville- but we're stuck with a cranky old man as owner- who's hired a fairly cheerful old man to build his team so maybe we stumble into being meaningful but I wouldn't bet my house.
  4. Branch is falling cause NFL scout are outsmarting themselves again- go back to the tape -Branch is a huge part of a Mich team that holds opponents to less than 50 yards per game- he might not be the dt you want on the field on third and long - but he'll help get you to thrid and long and he's going to help your LBs not get the crap knocked out of them- hell I don't know If SD would want A.T. or not but I'm not giving more than a 3rd this year and a second next year- and how do you know SD didn't make him an offer hmmm - yeah your likely right- but that was before they were talking about trading Turner anyways- why did Titians get rid of Henry - then think geeezzz White is kind chubby maybe we need another back- cause we give nfl personal people way too much credit- btw I'll tell you who's fat L Walker that's who -366lbs that's a meat wagon- .
  5. 1st I'm ok with Patrick Willis but if Branch fall as some predict I'd take Branch 2nd I think Rice and Jarrett both fall behind Craig Davis and Steve Smith and be available here- I also think there will be some fine CBs available at this pick - so the highest rated WR or CB at this pick- I'll go with Marcus McCauley CB 3a Buster Davis LB 3b to chargers part of Turner deal 4th Antwan Barnes LB 5th from Chargers Jackie Battle RB 6th Laurent Robinson WR 7a Legedu Nanee WR 7b Nate Ilaoa RB Turner Deal- Bills get Turner and Chargers 2007 5th for Anthony Thomas 2007 3rd (92) 2008 2nd
  6. NO FBs- 2TE , or 3WR or TE and H-Back
  7. Looking how GBN has the players falling I'd have to Grab Branch with our first- I like Lynch but I would be pretty excited about a draft day like this. 1. Alan Branch 2. CB - there are CBs who are going to be availible to the Bills who physically are on par with the CBs going in the first round- Eric Wright, Marcus McCauley, John Wade 3a. best LB avail- example Justin Durant or Buster Davis 3b part of the Turner trade 4 best LB Avail-example Quincy Black or Antwan Barnes 5th part of Turner trade -best WR or RB Avail- Jackie Battle 6th best RB or WR-Laurent Robinson 7a best player avail- Courtney Brown CB 7b Jordan Kent wr
  8. If the Bills can get Turner for less great- in fact I'm fine waiting to 2008 to really address the RB situation- but I don't want any trades that involve this years 1st or 2nd or next years 1st.
  9. I'd much rather my trade than give up a 2nd this year- this year in the second round where the Bills pick your going to be able to find a CB who physically is on par with the 1st round CBs- I'm using the Two McGahee picks - Anthony Thomas is a throw in how much are you going to use him if Turner is the stud everyone thinks he is- so the big lose is the 2008 2nd rounder- is that a fair exchange to upgrade from Willis to Turner?
  10. alot of football players are dumba$$es in life but got football smarts a total dumba$$ is a revolving Dumba$$ thats a guy who's a dumba$$ no matter how you look at him.
  11. My Turner Trade- Bills get Turner and the Chargers 2007 5th - the Bills give up Anthony Thomas 2007 3rd, 2008 2nd and 3rd
  12. Its not a hard and fast rule - more of a guide- teams trading up usually give up a little to a lot more than the chart value - for the fan its a good guide so they don't put trades out there that are just plain silly- like well give them our two 7ths and our 1st (12th pick) for the number #1 overall.
  13. I'm sure you're right I doubt any of will still be alive in 2146.
  14. Everrts problems :1. he was a very slow study 2. Injury 3. not a good inline blocker too light at 240 - now he has said he is really spending time with the playbook, he has put on some good weight, and the injury is suppose to be 100% healed so who knows maybe he's going to show something this year- but it was his inability to grasp the playbook that made him such a big zero last year- contary to popular belief you can't be a great football player and a total dumba$$ at the same time.
  15. If Branch is there I'd take him and consider my self blessed- the Bills are not going to fill all their holes with top line players so lets get a top line DT- and don't Blah blah blah about cover two DTs - one of the reasons people are suppose to like the cover two is because it's so hard to find massive athletes- well we had one last year in Ngata and we'd be fools to let a second slip by - btw you'd think the football geniuses would have figured out its also hard to find the super quick DTs like Sapp and Harris that make a really effective cover 2- when you got little guys who are just kinda quick then you just kinda suck.
  16. pssssss - don't tell anyone but football people don't seem too bright in general- and remember the word football modifies the word genius the same way the word special modifies the word Olympics.
  17. What I like about Lynch are his balance and toughness and he seemed like a WR on some the receptions I saw him make (abet off a highlight film who knows how many drops he had- but to me he has a very Marcus Allen, Thurman Thomas feel) on the Character side while he sounds a bit ghetto he has the smarts or good upbringing to always give credit for his success to his Oline and other teammates- at least he did in the three interviews (1highschool, 2 college) I've seen.
  18. Battle had decent senior year stats (184 943 5.1 ) not used as a receiver but caught the ball well at his proday-as say compared to Chris Henry another workout warrior and add DeShawn Wynn as another good sized guy he did well in the workouts
  19. yes Turner is a tradeable commodity- but not worth the 12th overall pick IMHO- maybe the Chargers think Rice or Jarrett will be avail where they pick and is better than Jackson- and maybe there is a player who they think will be there at 12- like Branch- sending them a wr back is just letting AJ save face.
  20. I don't want the Chargers to gain I want us to gain- my way of saying I don't think Turner is worth as much as they want for him- he has decent speed and size but he has run behind a very good Oline and against teams that have to prepare for LT- I can't see trading away McGahee and then trading a 1st+ for a back who like McGahee is not special- but I'd be willing to trade our first and Price or Reed for Turner and a better #2 receiver like Vincent Jackson
  21. Totally agree - I don't understand why you'd give up alot for RB who's not much different from the one we just traded away- now here's a trade I'd think about - Peerless Price and our 1st for Micheal Turner and Vincent Jackson
  22. Lorenzo Booker- 4th 5'10 194 not big enough for full time duty but nice speed and moves and a very good receiver Tyrone Moss-5th 5'9 230 lacks speed but very powerful runner very good around the goal line Chris Henry- 5th 5'11 230 fantastic workout at combine but not much production Jackie Battle- 5th 6'2 235 super proday workout good production his senior year- might move up a couple rounds DeShawn Wynn -6th 5'10 232 - ran faster then expected 4.48 some attitude issues Nate Ilaoa - 7th 5'9 245 - slow forty 4.77, but ave 7.6 ypc and was a very good receiver out of the backfield. some RBs who could be part of a RBBC- and one of them could be the next Micheal Turner
  23. I'd give a mid 2nd for him and thats it- I think he's very similar to the back we just traded- decent power - decent speed, not much of a receiver- I thought the reason we got rid of McGahee was we weren't going to give big money to a RB unless he's special- I think MT could be a decent starting RB but if you think he's going to have some mad ypc ave if he gets 300+ carries I think you're mistaken.
  24. Jarrett (6-4, 214) ran his 40s in 4.67 and 4.62 seconds, the short shuttle in 4.20 and the three-cone drill in 7.28. He also had a 36½-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot-1 broad jump- lets give him a 4.64 kinda slow - Jarrett and Rice moving down - Steve Smith, Craig Davis moving up- as for David Irons being 25 who cares - it's not like the old days when we owned these guys forever, we own them for one contract usually 4 years long after that they are free agents up for bid.
