  1. I think everybody should look on the bright side - with Nate gone we will have one of the best run defenses cause teams will just pass on us all day long.
  2. Ralphs a big boy lets not get weepy - do everything legal you can to win or move aside- isn't that the esence of sports- he doesn't have to spend big money on free agents, if the personel people don't think that's the way to get to the playoffs fine but the decision should based on the best way to make the team better not on Ralph not wanting to pony up
  3. a pretty good guard who could play either tackle if you were desperate- will not be bull rushed- has more trouble with quickness- the problem is, he's worth pretty good guard money but someone is going to offer him big LT money- which he is not worth, because even though he's one of the most imposing looking football player you'll ever see, he is neither overly athletic or motivated.
  4. Red chip and Blue chip- what, doesn't anyone have vices anymore? Red chip $5.00 Blue chip 10.00 /see Blue chip is better - of course I see Levi as more of a Bingo player than Poker
  5. you need a gas and you go to the first station look at the price and say wow no way I'm going to pay that much, so you go to another and it's the same price, so you try one after another and its pretty much the same everywhere- after awhile you have to chose buy gas or walk cause thats the price of gas- I mean really you have to spend your money wisely as possible but if you're just going to take your ball and go home cause its too rough then you should think about getting out of the business- hear that Ralph!!!
  6. Basically Ralph is saying "I'm not going into my pocket to get players"
  7. It's easy going from awful to just kinda bad- 7-9 --- Its harder to get to good---- I like the fans that say were just a few plays from 9 and 7 , of course they get pissed when I say we were also a few plays from 5 and 11 too-- and its nice that Levi knows he needs to improve the LB's, D-line and O-line now lets see if he can do it with one hand tied behind his back against 31 other teams.
  8. I already said 6 weeks ago Willis goes to Detroit for Mike Williams and Detroits 5th round pick if Lynch is there at 12 doesn't anyone listen lol.
  9. Don't really think any od the WR in free agency are a great fit for the Bills except Wilford and he's a restricted FA- but in June with the cap cuts their might be some interesting receivers out there.
  10. Sorry Just trying on being realistic- sure I'd like Corry Redding and Leonard Davis and resigning nate but it looks like were going to get punked- it's weird to say but I wish the the cap had been about 15mil less it would have much better having 18mil with a bunch of teams in cap trouble than having 33mil with all that money out there.
  11. Before his knee injury Willis had 4.40-4.45 type speed - Now it's probably more like 4.6 - I don't know about being like Marshal -Faulk I think more like Eric Dikerson- but again that was before the knee injury those tenths of a second count - a loss step is killer for a RB, it may be the position that is most purely physical in football.
  12. What I think the Bills will do cut Villiarial, and Reyes sign Floyd Womack OG Mike Gandy OG Chris Kelsay DE the return of Ron Edwards DT Najeh Davenport RB/FB Anthony Thomas RB then the Bills will draft and fight for a bunch of undrafted free agents and Finally expect the Bills to wait until the June cuts to try to get a couple vets cheap at the WR, LB, and DB
  13. totally agree with this- the Bills have to help themselves where they can in free agency - to me that is OL DL and TE- I don't like the FA WRs, CB options except keeping Nate, OR LBs too much I'd rather have Spikes, Ellison, and Crowell .
  14. Who we draft will depend mainly what if anthing we do in Free agency.
  15. I don't know if it was his knee so much as he seemed to do something stupid the few times he got a chance to be on the field.
  16. Exactly, that and the fact that revenues have been increasing at a brisk pace- if revenue increases slowed down many teams would be in hot water- which brings me to a question what if a team simply couldn't make enough cuts to get under the cap what would the nfl do? would the nfl let the team buy cap space from other teams for cash or draft picks - or make the team forfeit all their games or levy fines-or raise the cap on all teams what do you think?
  17. Washington, Carolina, and Pittsburg have to make moves to open enough cap space to sign draft picks.
  18. Tony hunt will share the RB load if not this year then next- I was trying to make LB work but I just don't really like how they fall this year- unless Patrick Willis or Tilman would fall to the Bills in the 2nd round
  19. Don’t kid yourself the Bills have lots of holes to fill to be a playoff contender- here’s how I’d go about it. Free agency. 1. O-line first cut Reyes and Villarial- a cap savings of 2.45 mil -resign Gandy and sign Leonard Davis to play right guard- Expensive? sure but he is a great insurance policy cause he can play either tackle and no one will push him into the backfield- Preston will back up at guard and center - if Davis is too expensive you could go with Floyd Womack but he can only back up at RT and is not quite the imposing player Davis is. I expect Steinbeck to be Franchised as the ave of the top five guards is pretty reasonable. 2. D-line Resign Hargrove- signing Cory Redding seems like the best bet -versatile like Hargrove, he could rotate in at DT and LDE - as a run stuffer I like Terdell Sands but at 6,7 335 he seems the opposite of what the Bills want- Kris Jenkins might be a cap cut and there are rumors that Carolina would be willing to deal to get something instead of nothing maybe a 6th this year and a conditional pick next yeat.- Tripplett and Jenkins with McCargo and Williams rotating in - in third and long situations Hargrove and Redding could play DT that wouldn’t be too shabby- Jenkins contract extends through 2009 - 2007 3.2mil 2008 2.9 mil 2009 3.75mil so a 3.2 mil cap hit but no up front money - which would make Ralph happy. 3. TE getting Daniel Graham would be a nice pick up for the Bills - he’s not a super star but he can block and catch the ball- won’t hurt NE unfortunately cause they’ll just use one of their two 1st on Zach Miller or Greg Olsen. 4. RB Najeh Davenport would nice inexpensive pickup. Cap money spent so far est O-line 8.5 mil D-line 8.5 TE 2mil RB less than a mil so about 20 mil so far which leaves around 14mil minus 5mil for the draft = 9mil that’s enough to resign Nate or get one of the high profile LBs - I’d resign Nate which would cost around 6-7mil against the cap leaving 2-3 mil to sign scrubs in case of injury. Draft- with O-line, D-line, TE, and CB mostly addressed 1.Marshawn Lynch RB McGahee's eventual replacement 2.Tony Hunt RB Anthony Thomas's replacement 3. Josh Wilson CB Yobouty moves to 3 Wilson moves to 4 or 5 depending on Green 4. Rhema McKnight WR eventual shot at number two receiver 5. For Hargrove 6. For Jenkins 7.Henry Tolbert WR former RB could be a good third down back, slot receiver, or #2 receiver
  20. this is just a guess but - Johnson will go 1-5 then Ginn, Jarrett, Bowe go 6-20 Rice, Meachem, 21-35,
  21. If your telling me that Peerless price's Fullbackesk receiving production is Fairchild's fault for not making use of Peerless's talents - I'll buy it- but something has to change cause 402 yards receiving from your #2 WR just isn't good enough.
  22. Skins are not going to get Clements- they need about 3-5mil just for draft picks - as for doing fancy caponomics it eventually catches up with you and I think the skins are caught.
  23. there is talk that he has the frame to put on more weight and play DT so I guess it could happen.
