  1. Willis is a reach at 12 but not as big as reaches as our last two 1sts
  2. good not great speed- nice height but not a huge redzone threat- not super tough over the middle- they worried about his durablity but he hasn't missed many games- better than Peerless but still doesn't give the Bills that super-tough receiver to work the middle, underneath, and redzone- Bills either need that super physical WR or better receiving at TE and RB.
  3. Is he down to 287 ? more likely he was never at 317 - always have to take college heights and weights with a grain of salt- what matters most is frame size which somewhat determines how much lean body mass someone can carry before it starts to interfer with athletic movement. I think the kid will be a good player but I don't think he's 12th best player in this years draft.
  4. Q. Were you outraged by Willis having 2 out of wedlock children and undergoing a paternity test for a third. A. I have a limited amount of Outrage and usually save it for government officials and corporate criminals. Q. Did McGahee’s comments about Buffalo make you angry. A. If I cared about what stupid people think I’d be in a bad mood all the time so no. Q. If you don’t care about that what do you care about. A. If Willis held out, If Willis was a locker room distraction, If Willis dogged it on the field. Q. But none of those things would be in McGahee’s best interest to do. A. People Don’t always do what’s in their best interest and Willis is not the brightest bulb on the tree. Q. Would you cut Willis. A. No Q. Would you trade Willis. A. Only if the situation was right. Q. What would be the right situation. A. We acquire someone who we think is a better RB than McGahee and can trade McGahee for something of value. Q. For example. A. Getting Marshawn Lynch in the first round and getting value in the draft or a player in exchange for McGahee. Q. You think Lynch is better than McGahee so how many more rushing yards do you think Lynch gets compared to McGahee. A. I think Willis in a good year is about a 1200 yd back I think Lynch is a about a 1200 yd back. Q. Umm that the same, why do you think Lynch is better. A. Lynch will have a better yards per carry, Lynch has better hands and can run a pass route, Lynch can operate from a spread formation and doesn’t need a lead blocking fullback to be successful. Q. what do you have against FBs A. Nothing against the old time FB who use to block , run short yardage, and catch passes, but the FB who blocks like a third guard , and catches passes like a third guard and gets as many carries as a guard seems like a waste of an offensive position to me. Q. So with Lynch you’d use an extra TE or a slot WR most of the time. A. Exactly Picture sets with Royal and another TE like a Daniel Graham ,Zach Miller or one of our good slot receivers.- I’m thinking a 2 TE base set and then replacing Royal with a slot receiver on third and long. Q. Is there any other benefits from changing the Bills base personal sets A. with another TE and a RB who can make tough catches over the middle Bills have more options in their #2 WR Q. so this isn’t about hating Willis or thinking Willis sucks - it’s about giving the QB more options and putting the offense more in Losman’s hands. A. Exactly.
  5. Yeah this guy is not below the Radar- I don't remember him having a 4.45 forty- so I'll have to check that or wait for the combine- it's hard to compare 40s until everyone running in the same conditions.
  6. so exactly what do you have over 4500 posts about? must be scintalating stuff lol.
  7. OF course maybe someone hired someone other than Bob from accountemps
  8. Parrish, Roscoe View Stats at Players Inc Site Player Info Draft Info WR (#) Year: 2005 Buffalo Bills Round: 2 Miami, FL Position: 23 Salary History 2005 230000.00 2006 350000.00 2007 435000.00 2008 460000.00
  9. I'd like it but I keep hearing that the Bills only want smurf receivers because of their "system" and that PP is a very good WR and that it is just very unrealistic to want someone better, and don't question anything that the coaches or GM or the President of the United States does cause they're all so much smarter than us.
  10. I checked his 2007 salary at the nfl players association and it looks like Bills daily added an extra zero.
  11. Yes very boring- also I can think of many moves the fans were way ahead of the coaches and GMs.
  12. I don't know if he's the perfect WR for the Bills but I'll say this - I don't know why Ted Ginn is rated a top 15 pick and Johnny Lee Higgins is rated a 3rd round pick- Higgins might be a little better than Ginn.
  13. System people are a joke- oh he's great but he doesn't fit our system- football people generally seem about 40 IQ points below the real world - therefore a football genius would have like a 110 real world IQ.
  14. Rumor is Lucas might be a cap casualty- so if its a next year draft pick or nothing you might take the draft pick- the Bills have no lack of cap room what they have is a lack of upfront money to pay big bonuses. As for the rest very funny....
  15. OR keep Willis 1. Jammal Anderson De 2. Brian Leonard FB 3. Josh Wilson CB 4. Manny Ramirez OG add Drew Bennent WR to free agency list send Carolina a 4th rd 2008 pick for Ken Lucas CB - Carolina is looking for cap space and Lucas is going to make 3.2 mil for 07 which is a lot for the 3rd CB - behind Chris Gambling and Richard Marshal.
  16. sometime I wish they would list their lean mass weight then we would know who's big and who's just fat.
  17. I think pass blocking trumps run blocking, of course I want both- the improvement in the Bills O-line came from improved pass blocking - even without changes the Bills O-line should improve- Peters and Gandy with another year in their new positions- Preston needs to use the off-season to really improve his strength and conditioning- Pennington looked better as a rookie than Mike Williams looked in his 3rd year- which really isn't saying a lot but it gots to give hope- also you'd expect some improvement just from the O-line playing together for another year.
  18. OK but I'm going to tweak it a little- add Anthony Thomas, Daniel Graham TE,Andre Gurode OC/OG Boss Baily LB and Ernest Wilford WR to the free agents. 1st Marshawn Lynch RB 2nd Aaron Sears OG/OT 3a Aaron Ross CB 3b Josh Wilson CB 4 to Jacksonville for Wilford WR 5 for Hargrove DE/DT 6 Nate Ilaoa RB Hawaii 7 Henry Tolbert WR Grambling University
  19. I don't know if I hated Donahoe's philosophy I really never figured out what it was- I know I hated some of his draft picks and some of his off-season moves- 1. Mike Williams over Bryant Mckinny- The knock on Mckinny was that he was soft as a run blocker- the knock on Williams was that he was too top heavy to pass block effectively- if your OT is soft you run to the other side- if your OT can't passblock you're going get your QB killed- when they called Mike Williams I said awwww wtf 2. Willis McGahee, who takes a player who you know won't be able to play right away with a first round pick- it's like trading your first round pick for something next year, teams do it but the going price tends to be a 2nd this year and a 1st and something else next year- if I'm Greg Williams I'm still looking to punch Donahoe in the mouth for that move. 3. Ted Washington and Pat Williams defense good- lose Ted defense not so good- Add Sam Adams defense good- lose Pat defense not so good- lose Adams even worse- you can tell me about the virtures of small quick dts but my experience has been big is better.
  20. Football being the ultimate team game, it takes a good eye to know who is making who look better and who is making who look worse.
  21. Plaxico too Hot Mike Williams too cold- I'll try to find you a trade that's just right Goldilocks
  22. 1.Some might say Willis is running behind a crap O-line especial when it comes to run blocking - 2. If Willis had not got his Ribs broken he'd probably gotten around 1200 yards which would have put him around 12th for RBs - now I'm for trading Willis because I want a more versatile back and think we could draft Mashawn Lynch at 12 but Willis isn't garbage and Plaxico isn't gold.
  23. Ok Not Plaxico - how about Willis to Detroit for Mike Williams and a 5th rounder- or is Mike too elite lol.
  24. Burress was the 20th receiver in terms of yagedage Willis was 24th RB in terms of yardage- willis will make $950,000 2007 - Burress-$3,200,000 2007 - Willis is 3 years younger- both have had issues.
  25. I have a question for you, if the giants offered the Bills Plaxico Burress for Willis McGahee strait up would you do the deal.
