In terms of the NFL Regent Street event (free) on Saturday they have yet to formally announce the timings of appearances. Based on previous years I would expect Rex, Tyrod and about 6 other high profile players to be on stage for about 25 minutes. Probably sometime between 1pm and 3 pm but don't hold me to that. I would expect Thurman and Jim Kelly to be on stage in the early afternoon as well. The event quietens down in the late afternoon so you guys will have the option of staying around, shopping, sightseeing or just rest up. Hope to confirm timings later in the week. In the past most teams head back to hotels as quickly as possible on Saturday afternoon to go through final game preparations and study. But as this is Rex he may bring the whole team and stay out for a few beers & enter the wing eating contest ! There are plenty of pubs just off of Regent Street so hope to see some of you for a drink during the day before heading down to The Pipeline in the evening.

Question - is this an official Bills Mafia event on Saturday evening at The Pipeline ? It's about 30 mins from the Regent Street afternoon event using the Tube to Liverpool Street.

http://www.nfluk.com/events/regent-street.html For Bills fans staying in London I would recommend the NFL organised event in Regent Street on Saturday afternoon. A chance to see and hear from Rex, Jim Kelly, Thurman and some of the current players. Hope to bump into a few Bills fans next Friday in the West End (Mayfair/Park Lane area). I'm in Block 121 Row 39 at Wembley on the Sunday.

Dungy adjusted to Patriots bugging lockerroom
peterlaw replied to Thrivefourfive's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It will be alleged that McNally planted the bugs in the Locker Room. There will be no direct evidence linking Belicheat to the bugs. Belicheat will be only "generally aware" of all the information obtained by the bugs. This information will have been passed to Belicheat by a person nicknamed "The Bugger" aka "The Deflator" via a Mobile device. The Mobile device will be accidentally destroyed. Kraft will defend his Head Coach and deny everything. The Bugger will not be available to give evidence. Belicheat will be proven innocent and McNally will receive another suspension from the Pats. The Pats win Super Bowl L. -
Sports radio arrogance in NE
peterlaw replied to NEBuffaloBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No doubt Brady will be well protected by the Referees as usual. So stand by for a few 15 yard "Roughing the Passer"penalties. But if we are going to get flagged we might as well Rough the Passer good and proper so that Brady remembers it for next year. Hit him hard and often boys. -
Who's the better back, right now? Freddy J or CJ Spiller?
peterlaw replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Right now Fred. Loved it last week when instead of running out of bounds he waited a moment for the DB to get in position and then just smashed him. Gained an extra yard and gave the DB a headache. Close to "unnecessary roughness" in a legitimate sort of way. To be fair CJ seems to have been operating with a foot injury almost all of this season. I admire CJ for fighting through it for the team. But this Sunday we need them both. If you want a yard you need Fred. If you want 80 yards in one hit its CJ. -
Don't know about the WR but I quite like the look of the QB !

Keep SJ. It's up to Hackett to find a way to best utilise his undoubted talents. But SJ needs to accept he is not going to be the #1 guy next season.

We need to hire this guy as Head Coach

We may not have the right QB for this Head Coach ? -
If you were a Jets fan/arm chair GM would you...
peterlaw replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have very much enjoyed watching the Jets games in recent weeks. In fact I can't wait for them to get the ball back, preferably close to their own goal line. Then sit back and enjoy Geno. Great stuff. Great call by Buddy not to draft the "best QB of the class". If I was the Jets GM for the day I might trade a few of their defensive stand outs (eg Richardson) to the Bills in exchange for TJ Graham to provide more help for Geno. -
There was a pivotal 4th quarter call on Aaron Williams for illegal contact. A quick replay showed that he did not come close to touching a player. Bizarre. But it's a quid pro quo. Another defeat means a better draft pick.

Enough with the clown pants already

I like the Pink pants idea. I think it could give us an advantage next Sunday as the Jets piss themselves laughing. -

79 yards in the air. How much does EJ get paid this week ? -

You feel confident that EJ is going to lite up the Jags. His turn is coming next month. What do you reckon 150 yds? Maybe 160 yds. -

Will EJ throw for more than 100 yards in the game ?? Will Freddie get killed in catching some of these 3 yd throws ?? -

The Bills Have Hired a Director of Analytics
peterlaw replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills game plans are going to be nicely bound in to high quality presentation packs by our Xerox man. But wait presentation packs are no more as all the Bills players have iPads. No wonder Xerox man is looking for an alternative career. -

The Bills are going to have the best photo copiers in the NFL within 12 months. Guaranteed. Good job Russ ! -
I'm thinking about the 2pt conversion Statue of Liberty play run by Boise State to win the Fiesta Bowl against Oklahoma. That would have been a sweet way to win against the Bengals.

2014 Season to feature 3 games in London
peterlaw replied to Big C's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You might be surprised what we Brits know about the game. A trip to London to play Oakland wouldn't be much different to playing on the West Coast. Must confess I have never seen the NFL games at Wembley (apart from the Bills pre season about 20 years ago) as I much prefer to watch the Bills on a satellite feed. But can't see the Bills getting a London gig in view of their Toronto commitments.
