  1. If Byrd has nothing to hide then he should have no objection in strapping on the Lie Detector. Perhaps Eugene Parker could negotiate the Television rights to make a few dollars on the side.
  2. Wonder whether Byrd would agree to the use of a "Lie Detector" next time the Bills ask him whether he is fit enough to play? Surely he has nothing to hide.
  3. Parker should know that the Bills WILL be tagging Byrd in 2014. Lets see how long the foot injury lasts.
  4. Byrd HAS been replaced. Overall the D looks much better than last year. It's about team rather than pussyfoot individuals.
  5. Aaron will be back at starting Safety soon. Plays hurt. Has some speed. Has heart. Just my type of player. Look and learn Jairus.
  6. Good job we didn't sign Byrd up on a $50m 5 year contract with $25m guaranteed. Otherwise he would be sitting with his feet up for the next 5 years counting his $25m saying his feet still hurt.
  7. How many yards would CJ get against the Bills defence if we traded him ? I'm guessing close to 200 yards. All that CJ needs is for the Bills to get the passing attack working early to give him some room.
  8. Timescale for Byrd's return from his "foot condition" is about 3 months or if we tag him again next year then 15 months.
  9. If we tag Byrd again in 2014 I wonder if his foot "condition" will last another 15 months? I think it might before some miracle cure in February 2015.
  10. Call the police. The Buffalo Bills are being robbed of $421k every week. Is it robbery or is it fraud?
  11. Might I suggest an immediate cure to this painful Plantar Fascilitis condition. Just get the Surgeon to amputate both feet close to the ankle. Is that less painful now Jairus ?
  12. Is this a good time for the FO to have a chat with Carrington's agent as his contract expires at the end of this season? Hello Eugene. So your client wants the same money as the Bills other starting DE because their production is about the same. And of course starting DEs warrant a lot more $'s than Free Safeties. Shall we say $14m pa.
  13. Poised in the pocket. But only 150 yards. It's a start but not able to call it a win.
  14. But maybe it's carrying around a $6.91m contract in his back pocket that has caused it to flare up. I think PF in the case of JB is very predictable. The miracle cure will happen if a new team comes knocking. He may turn out for he Bills sometime this year and has a ready made excuse for any on field mistakes he makes.
  15. The Pats will crowd the line of scrimmage until EJ proves he is up to the job. With little room to run or throw short why not take some early shots down the field to the speedster? Goodwin could have a monster day. Lets roll the dice.
  16. Would be nice if Jairus or his agent make a statement to clarify the position. Is he prepared to play through the pain for the team that is paying him $400k+ every match day.
  17. Should that say Parker often wins multimillion dollar contracts for his clients that are fit enough to step on the field and play football at an elite level. I'm with Nanker on this.
  18. "Working overly hard" ??? Byrd has had his feet up for 7 months. How many days has he been on the field with the Bills this pre season. 3 or 4 days? This boy needs to change his attitude (and his agent) quickly. All the nonsense about Parker being an honest and fair agent, when the fact of the matter is that he trying to sell the Bills damaged goods at sky high prices.
  19. 31 other teams take note. Who wants to pay $8m or $9m pa for a player carrying a long term injury and who may miss field time even with resting his feet for 8 months. Anyone want to guarantee $20m? Byrds strategy looks to have backfired. The only option he has now to get his big contract in 2014 is to get his arse on the field and play "lights out" for 16 games.
  20. A potential career threatening injury? Byrd was never blessed with great speed even with two good feet. No one will be paying him top NFL Safety money now. Thank God the Bills FO did not invest millions. Pleased we have invested in Eric Wood who has recovered from horrific injuries with great character.
  21. Provo, Sinkfield, Sampson, Turnley, Brian Smith, Drew Smith, Unamba, LeGree, Cross, Tipoti & Elliott.
  22. Probably, like me, Rogers thought it was an incomplete forward pass. How else did it travel 10 yards forward from the hand. I would like the officials to explain that call. I guess someone will say continue to play until its blown dead. Anyway I hope to see Kaufman and Rogers targeted at least 5 times each on Friday.
  23. Last year the Bills were poor in the pre season. And carried that form into the first regular season game. It's really good news to see a better performance in the pre season. But lets not forget Luck & Hasslebeck only played Q1. Their 3rd string QB was hopeless. Unfortunately we play Tom Brady in week 1.
  24. Lovely move to get open for the TD. Reminded me of SJ. Superb throw from Tuel. I am surprised Rogers was not targeted more often. I expected him to get more touches than say Sampson (who did well). But to be honest all the second and third string WRs benefitted by having Jeff Tuel throwing them decent balls.
  25. Jeff Tuel has perfected the kneel down. Hope he can use that move in the regular season. But why not practice a bomb to Rogers or Kaufman rather than a kneel down ? After that I still have no idea who our 6 WRs will be. Didn't miss Brad Smith today. Easley, Hogan, Rogers, Kaufman, Sampson all looked decent.
