  1. With the Bills playing the media's beloved NFC East this year, I'd guess that the chances are good for a Bills appearance in a Sunday night or Monday night game.
  2. Who will our dominant defensive players next season? Takeo was supposed to me that man when we got him from the Bengals. Nate was dominant during the 2nd half of the season last year.
  3. The A-train is not an adequate replacement if the Bills decide to part ways with Willis. He filled in adequately when Willis went down with cracked ribs, but I was frustrated by his impatience. He attacked potential holes too early. For all the criticism, Willis is a much more patient back in reading how holes will open up. If Willis departs, we need a better replacement than the A-train.
  4. Adalius Thomas is an animal of the football field and will fit Bellychick's system perfectly. This was a good signing for the Pats.
  5. ESPN is becoming irrelevant every day. Weren't they the network so high on the Dolphins last year?
  6. All this tallk about Okoye may be eventually be irrelevant. His stock in the draft is rising. He may be gone before we even have a chance.
  7. How many more "great" years does Travis have left in him? Can we get him cheap?
  8. The guy had strong, innate on-field leaderships qualities and was an emotional leader in the locker room and on the field. I wish Fletch nothing but the best in DC.
  9. The verdict is to be passed. Let Walker get into camp. Let him learn McNally's system. Let him gel with the other OL man. It could be bust signing but it could have huge upside. We'll wait to see.
  10. If Willis is on the team next year, this beefed up left side is a gift to him in his final contract year as he tries to up his stats.
  11. You're looking at a potential NFC wild card team next season. That defence is starting to look very good.
  12. Very sad. LT is a class act. There are few people nicer in the game than him.
  13. Yeah. Now that the Superbowl Lovie Lovefest is over, we'll see what Lovie is made of next year with this team. Did their defence really regress in the 2nd half or was it injuries that caused the fall-off? Is Wrecks Grossman fixable? Is his buddy Babich capable or will this be another case of insider dealing gone awry?
  14. Minus our shutout of them a few years ago ..... Not only Dillon, but the entire NE franchise has had our number for what seems like forever now.
  15. And Moulds will enter Texans training camp at 34 years of age with declining receptions, declining yards, and declining touchdowns over the last few seasons. The Bills were right to allow his "absence" from the 2006 team.
  16. The stench in Chicago over Rivera departing will grow if the Bears regress next year. Lovie always wanted his man Babich to be the defensive coordinator but was overruled by the GM. Babich declined to even be interviewed for the Bills DC position last year. That alone should have given Rivera some idea of what Lovie potentially had in mind over the long run. We'll see if Lovie gets a deal. He probably will. I'm sure Bears fans would love to see Singletary in town. But vagabond Lovie might feel a bit threatened by another highly successful player turned coach.
  17. That was really profound thinking about the Bills. I have to pick myself off the floor I was so impressed with the inside intelligence on our team by our beloved ESPN.
  18. Sirius NFL radio claimed the Patriots would be releasing him on March 2nd. The Pats will save 2-2.5M / yr by cutting him lose.
  19. How about Strahan? (...just kidding ... if only life worked that way)
  20. And we'll get to prove it next season when we play them in Cleveland.
  21. Stay far, far away from the guy. Jeff Fisher will have to decide next year whether he is a character guy for the team.
  22. That's a highly simplistic assessment. Look at how Jason Peters move to LT made a difference to the offence's performance last year. Imagine what an improved OL through the draft and free agency could do to enhance JP's performance. Marv keying in on the OL in his press conference was gratifying. The team also needs improved run stuffing ability up front.
  23. He was. Tiki is replacing him. I figured they'd let Bettis go because while Sharp wasn't ideal, Bettis didn't add a lot of value to the show. He's a likable guy so I suppose that is probably a factor in keeping him.
