  1. Running first isn't the way to win in the NFL anymore.
  2. How many years did it take Young to become a decent QB though? He should never have seen the field until his 4th year. However, to say that Tebow and VY/MV are in the same mold is stupid. These guys are elusive runners, which helps them avoid big hits... while Tebow runs like a fullback. That is a recipe for being injured.
  3. It's not like Orakpo was the end-all-be-all of DE prospects... he had serious effort concerns coming out of college. In fact, a lot of people were comparing his effort-level to that of Vernon Gholston.
  4. I don't think Washington is done with Campbell. He has an 87 QB rating, and has thrown 18 td to 14 INTs this year. We would be 8-6 or 9-5 with those numbers from the QB position. Bulger is probably gone, as he is making a **** ton of money, and has had very lackluster performance the last few years.
  5. Hire a GM, and draft a QB.
  6. If the Jags draft Tebow, there is no way they cut Garrard. Tebow is no where near ready to be an NFL QB.
  7. The Dolphins went 1-15, and then 11-5 the next season. The packers went 6-10 last season. The Bengals were 4-11-1 last season. It doesn't take very much to make a sub-.500 team into a playoff team. The Bills could easily be 10-6 next year, if they get some QB play that could be considered average or decent.
  8. Yet, if we had no talent (which is a relative term), we would not have won a game this year. It is completely untrue to say that the Bills are devoid of talent. A few breaks on our part, and we could easily be .500 or better. No team in the NFL is far away from a winning season.
  9. Yes, Maybin was a lowly rated prospect that the Bills drafted 6 rounds before anyone predicted him going.
  10. If we have no talent, how did we win 5 games? How did we keep almost every single game close?
  11. We drafted him because he is extremely talented, and could be one of the best pass rushers in the league.
  12. 300 yard passers have a 70 winning percentage, which is up from about 45% five years ago. The NFL is a passing league, and we need a franchise QB to win.

  15. Jauron also out coached Joe Gibbs, but who would want that guy?
  16. So, you want us to believe that he just let all the muscle that he gained during the off season simply disappear? The guy was 250 at the combine. I find it very hard to believe that a pro-athlete would just sit on his ass and not train at all. If you look at his 230 pictures and his 250 pictures, he doesn't look bigger... his muscles are just far more pronounced.
  17. Stardust was a great movie. It's a shame no one has seen it.
  18. There are many very good DE's that are Aaron Maybin's size, or smaller.
  19. There is no way the Bucs draft a QB this year. The Browns aren't likely to, either.
  20. No they're not. Look at the teams a head of them. The vast majority won't be looking to get a QB.
  21. Cutler has never been a franchise QB. He makes terrible decisions with the ball, lacks accuracy, has trouble reading defenses, and has a piss poor attitude. The guy wasn't even very good in Denver, which is absolutely stacked on the offensive side of the ball. If we have a shot at Suh, we take him, but he will be gone at pick #1 or #2. We should take a QB if we can. There is a good shot that we can get the #1 or #2 QB in this draft, which would give us a top 5 prospect. Just imagine what our record would be if we had a QB that could get the ball to our receivers. How many times have guys been wide open, but our QB doesn't see them, or he makes a poor throw? The passing game is by far the most important part of an NFL winner, and we need a QB to have any chance.
  22. Actually, we are in a pretty good spot to grab a top tier QB. Many of the teams ahead of us already have a decent QB, or drafted/acquired a QB recently.
  23. Agreed. Could you imagine Evans on a team with an actual franchise QB? The guy would have 1300 yards receiving every year. Also, the new GM might want to consider cutting stroud. He is making $9 million a year, and is clearly near the end of his career. Schobel might be cut as well.
  24. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Evans has the best double move of any WR in the NFL. He is open many times a game, but he is either under thrown or not thrown to at all. In fact, Fitzpatrick missed Evans for an easy TD today.
  25. Why the hell would we cut Evans? He is a very good player.
