  1. Remove Jauron and Marv, and I would be happy with that. Mularkey and Greggo are both very good coordinators.
  2. QB in round 1 LT in round 2 (or trade back into round 1) DT in round 3
  3. Shanahan would likely become the GM right away (as soon as they have the black guy in the mail room interview), and become the coach at the end of the season.
  4. What magazines? Bryan Scott is a former CB who runs a 4.8-4.9 40. That's LB speed on a safety... which is NOT good enough to cover a WR. They started Scott because Whitner was the only one on the team that could play FS, and Scott is way, way, way too slow to play it. Whitner is by far the superior overall player, and would be starting no question if he wasn't injured. George Wilson is clearly inferior to Donte Whitner, or have you forgotten all those plays where Wilson was 10 yards away from a receiver as he walks into the end zone? Do you really want to get into this argument PushThePile? You argued all summer that Jay Cutler was a very good QB, and look how that turned out.
  5. You do realize that Whitner is by far our best SS, right? He has the best combination of cover skills and run support. Scott is too slow to play outside the box, and can't guard anyone other than a TE. Wilson is just a bad cover man... He has a knack for being completely out of position, and isn't nearly as good in run support as Scott and Whitner. Wilson's WR hands are about the only thing that gives him serious value. Whitner isn't an elite cover safety, but he is regarded as one of the best in-the-box safeties in the league. If he can come back and play the rest of the season, we could get a 2nd or 3rd rounder for him... but why would a rebuilding team trade one of its better young players for a draft pick?
  6. Not when there are 10+ teams that run the 3-4. There are very few college teams that use the 3-4, and the league is at, or beyond, its limit of 3-4 defenses. There are only so many players to go around, and teams are already reaching for players to fit their scheme. Switching to a 3-4 would be a bad idea.
  7. We are a decent QB away from being good.
  8. Del Rio is a good coach. He knows how to build a solid running game.
  9. What's everyone's infatuation with the 3-4 defense? The league is already extremely overpopulated with them, and guys are being drafted 1-2 rounds than they should be because there is a shortage of players to fit the defense.
  10. I would recommend Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. It is by far the highest rated game of 2009, and the 2nd highest rated PS3 game ever. That game will improve your hand/eye coordination extemely fast.
  11. Urban Meyer would be a terrible choice. He hasn't even shown that he can run a pro-style offense. Not to mention that any GM would much rather have someone who has a proven track record in the NFL.
  12. by $6 million, you mean less than $4 million?
  13. Why would Shanahan cut Posluszny and Whitner? You don't cut good young players that are making reasonable salaries.
  14. Cutler has never been an above average QB, even when he had all that talent around him in Denver. I would take him over Edwards, but i would NOT trade two 1st round picks for him. Cutler= Jeff George 2.0
  15. I've been using Windows 7 for months; it is by far the best Microsoft OS.
  16. Yes, competing with those who regulate you is totally fair.
  17. Ed Reed isn't very fast.
  18. Just remember guys. The bears thought Kyle Orton sucked.
  19. And this is why the fans would be terrible GMs.
  20. They drafted Byrd so Whitner could go back to SS.
  21. There is a good chance that Tebow will last to the 3rd round.
