  1. The defender had great position on the ball because of where it was thrown. If Tebow had thrown it to the other side of his receiver's body, the defender in front of him still wouldn't have been able to make a play. The other defender never even tried to make a play on the receiver because he was behind and about 3-4 yards away. If Tebow hit's his receiver in the chest, neither defender has a chance of making a play on the ball. Not to mention, Tebow's slow release caused that defender to be closer to the receiver than if he threw it on time. Bottom line: The pass was behind his receiver. The pass was late The pass is wobbly (need to see the ESPN highlight) That pass would have been knocked down in an NFL game. The play only goes for a TD because the defender tries to knock down the pass as it is behind the receiver. I guess you could call that a positive. Edit: the other defender is also moving laterally, and is in no position to make a play on the ball. Also, I might give Tebow the benefit of the doubt (aka he meant to throw it there), but he is oft-erratic and he usually throws behind or low to his receiver.
  2. Except, if you look at the video, you can see that Tebow's receiver has to reach back and slow down to catch the ball. In fact, the defender is almost able to make the play on the ball because of the spot it was thrown in. It's a fact that many scouts have real concern with his below average accuracy and very slow release. Here's some of his ESPN draft central scouting report: 4 is below average ,3 being average, 2 being above average, and 1 being exceptional. He has two below average grades in 5 of the QB grading criterias, and has no score above a 2.
  3. Uh.... the Pats have to wait two years to get the Raider's pick. They got their 2011 draft pick.
  4. I'm a joke for pointing out the truth? I'd say the people who are jokes are the one's who think Tebow will somehow completely reinvent himself in order to succeed in the NFL.
  5. If you watch that TD pass, you will see that it was a wobbly and behind his receiver. It's clear that Tebow does not possess the skills to be an NFL quarterback.
  6. Except when he out coaches someone else.
  7. Is that why the Patriots have kept many players that were past their prime? Teddy Bruschi has been a below average LB for years now and Rodney Harrison was below average for a while before he was gone.
  8. Stupar is on the practice squad...
  9. I can think of plenty. Kelsay is an average defensive end.
  10. And if being gay is not caused by genes, but by hormonal imbalances... is it then ethical for parents to use hormone therapy to "cure" their children?
  11. Ralph only has to spend up to a minimum amount per year (salary cap rule), and the Bills are well over that threshold.
  12. Ralph spent the money to go out and sign Dockery + Walker, I hope he would opt to use that money on a proven coach. We might not be able to afford a big name FA every year, but it would be worth it.
  13. Let's not forget that Maybin will be playing LDE on 3rd down. Would CB have even seen the field? Kelsay would have put up better numbers than CB, if he went against 2nd or 3rd stringers. There was no playing time for Bryan.
  14. You know, the more I watch and read about Edwards, the more I think that Mike Holmgren would be the perfect HC here. He knows the WC offense (I think T.E. could light it up in that scheme) and he has a lot of experience with a 4-3 defense. Not to mention he made Matt Hasselbeck into a good QB.
  15. We're on the treadmill to NOWHERE!!!@#!# DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!!!!
  16. http://www.reuters.com/article/lifestyleMo...E5850F320090906 I can't say I'm shocked that Moore would decry the very thing that has made our country great, as evil.... but I'll be extremely worried if this film gains the cult following that BFC and FH 911 got.
  17. Name any trio. Think fast.........
  18. What's Sam Aiken doin' these days?
  19. Copeland Bryan isn't even eligible for the practice squad.
  20. No real surprises.
  21. Beating up Tila Tequila http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/...e-imprisonment/
  22. How about we see Byrd play a few games before we ask that question?
  23. The pick is in 2011, so the pats will have to wait two full seasons to get the 1st rounder from oakland.
  24. It's a salary dump so they can afford to re-sign Vince Wilfork. They knew they couldn't re-sign both, so they traded Seymour.
