  1. I don't think Bernie was being stupid when he pointed out that Hillary won the popular vote, I think that's a calculated effort to continue the current discord which is the underpinning of all the protests and riots going on around the nation. He's the left's quintessential angry white male, and I believe the level of anger present in all these protests is at least in part a reflection of Bernie's own anger. He's trying to push the party further toward all-out socialism, and he's the reason so many millennials are willing to follow along the same path. Yep.
  2. The guy's great - I appreciate your turning me on to him, but the ironing board doesn't impress me like the shovel does. This looks like he simply mounted a pedal steel into the ironing board, where the shovel is actually a shovel with strings & a pickup slapped on and no apparent frets/position markers for him to reference. But still, kudos to this guy. He's killer!
  3. I'm willing to bet that if you were to edit out the curse words and flying lamps, ash trays, and cellphones, it would be a damned short speech.
  4. Beautiful plumage, the Norwegian Blue.
  5. Ivy League sanctuaries http://heatst.com/culture-wars/students-pressure-elite-colleges-to-become-sanctuary-campuses-for-illegal-immigrants-under-trump/
  6. That's why I didn't characterize what he said as being completely ridiculous.
  7. That was awesome! The guy plays a shovel better than a lot of guitarists play the guitar. Even PPP doesn't come close to the level of politically - inspired hysteria that still pollutes facebook. But you've got a point.
  8. By your apparent way of thinking, the definition of what's a baby and what's "a blob of fetal tissue" depends on either the child's physical location (in or out of the womb) or the mother's personal feelings at the time. That's ridiculous. What you're calling for is government sanction of personal irresponsibility, and trying to mask that behind the flawed notion that state sponsored abortion is less of a financial burden on the taxpayer than the subsequent welfare will be. Whether you realize it or not, you're using a favorite tactic of the left: casting the issue as if it only effects the poor. It doesn't, and considering that the victim in all this - whether wanted or unwanted - is a baby, then greater emphasis should be placed on the ramifications of promoting such behavior. This.
  9. Hmmmm....two more people selling me on the conspiracy. Sounds like a conspiracy to me.
  10. The Facebook news feed is little more than a bunch of people who aren't nearly as smart or as funny as they think they are, posting a bunch of nonsense that isn't nearly as intelligent as they think it is. I don't care where you're checking-in, I don't care what you're eating, I don't care who you're with, how happy/hungry/sad/angry you are, and I certainly don't care at all what you think of anything remotely related to politics.
  11. I've been wondering that too, but the poor guy is probably nursing the dying remains of his 'Trump is just a ploy to ensure the coronation' theory. Just keep him in your thought and prayers - I imagine we'll see him soon.
  12. If you're going to cloud the conversation with specifics, then we can't have a meaningful dialogue.
  13. As far as I know, the CGI is still under investigation by the FBI, so that story is still far from finished.
  14. Granted, this is the debt and not the deficit, but that notwithstanding, try to tell me that it isn't relevant: http://www.usdebtclock.org/
  15. Fine, you corrected his vernacular. Well done. You say that government doesn't belong in "the reproductive control business" either, but it's worth consideration that it may well be within constitutional authority to address the belief that the unborn are citizens-to-be deserving of constitutional protection.
  16. It looks like she's going to skate though. Poor kid.
  17. If you consider the actual definition of the word, disorder is a component of anarchy, so your Sunday football & pizza example doesn't really work. I get what you're trying to say, but snafu's original comment wasn't off base.
  18. They're not doing that already?!
  19. Fair enough...
  20. If you went there then I'm surprised that they never set up a safe space for idiots.
  21. I based my vote on one Trump term, replacing Scalia's seat quickly and presuming Ginsburg will be replaced some time during that four years. If Trump gets a 2nd term, I say he appoints three altogether.
  22. It's natural for teens & young adults to be idealistic and to feel profound disappointment in instances like this. It sounds to me like you handled it well and that you've got a bright daughter. Kudos to you.
  23. That at a law school?! That's all we need to really screw things up - an entire generation of SJW lawyers and their prejudiced sense of activism. Beat me to it.
