I like to have a little faith - I was extremely leftist when I was that age, clinging angrily to a very idealistic mindset and frustrated at the world for not falling into step. I got over it. I think a lot of the current crop of snowflakes will eventually come around too, once life has had a chance to beat a little sense into them. Watching them go through those life experiences will be immensely entertaining though.

The people on board were local to my area, Bastrop being essentially a suburb of Austin. I work in Bastrop frequently. A Biloxi man saw the crash about to happen and managed to get three or four people off the bus before it was struck. Oh, I'm tracked via GPS whenever driving a company vehicle, all my internet traffic is monitored, and who knows what else. But as soon as I'm off the job and gone, they're blind to what I'm doing.
