  1. If people would start using descriptive titles, instead of generic ones... *sigh* CW
  2. Hormel is in Austin, Minnesota, not Wisconsin... CW
  3. You're just not going to the right places. In addition, you can't get cheese curds anywhere else in the country that are half as good as in WI.
  4. Hey, have you ever tried recording the Sirius broadcast to your PC? It'd be cool to record the game, and then have multiple audio tracks -- the Fox broadcast and the radio broadcast -- on the DVDs I make (although, at the rate the Bills are playing, I won't be doing any more DVDs this year... ). CW
  5. Agreed. I also don't like how they add subtle sound effects to replays. When a guy gets hit, or jukes, or whatever, you'll here grunts. Maybe some people like that, but it annoys me to no end. But all the games are in HD, so I'd trade CBS for it if I could. CW PS: Bills/Patriots is in HD on CBS in two weeks, so we'll be able to see Buffalo beat the Patriots and tie for first place in the division!!! (gotta stay positive, despite the fact that the odds are against us; people go to Vegas hoping to win money, even though the odds are against them, right? )
  6. Ahh, you meant they should roll him out and run the ball? Didn't get that in your original post, but it's a good idea. Only problem is you risk injury running a lot, and I prefer the QB to throw. I'm not a huge Vick fan myself, but it obviously can work. CW
  7. I don't watch ESPN anymore, but they're really just trying to reinvent themselves to avoid dying. Think about it, back in the day (10+ years ago), you'd watch Sports Center to see highlights, catch scores, etc. Well now you can go online to get all of that information. You can watch football highlights on your TiVo (assuming you have Sunday Ticket). If you don't have ST, you can still get highlights online, on-demand. What purpose does Sports Center really have anymore? ESPN broadcasts sporting events, great, but other than that, are they really useful anymore? I'd say not. Thus they're trying to find another format that people will watch (Cold Pizza, that football miniseries, movies, etc). CW
  8. And how do you deduce that I'm "unable to appreciate the positives of JPs game?" I made a comment on the lack of interceptions, nothing less, nothing more. Give up the gig as a psychic, you're not very good at it. CW
  9. Oh, the lame comments. Shell shock? I had no idea what the hell you were even talking about, so gave it the response it deserved. CW
  10. Not being sarcastic at all. Everyone's been calling for Clements, Gray, and Mularky's heads around here lately. They'll go elsewhere and be sucessful, while we continue spinning our wheels by not addressing the trenches. CW
  11. I thought I was in Wisconsin and/or Minnesota, but ok....
  12. Is there any doubt that we'd be demolished by Washington (GW) as well? Yup - let's run some more coaches out of town since they obviously all suck. CW
  13. I can't count the number of times he's thrown the ball right to the defender, and the ball was dropped. I'm not talking acrobatic catches, I'm talking right into the gut of the defender, especially at the start of the season. Hopefully that will stop (and it does seem to have gone down quite a bit), but the low number of picks isn't really heartening to me, at least. CW
  14. TD, is that you? Let's see, RB getting eaten two yards behind the line. QB getting dumped after 1.5 seconds... But it's not the OL, nope. No wonder we never get the OL fixed... It's not broken! CW
  15. I guess I assumed he meant ILLEGAL recreational drugs, since the thread is about Irvin being arrested. CW
  16. If you watched the game, you would've noticed that they had JPL rolling out quite frequently.
  17. If you made that bet, you'd lose a LOT of money. CW
  18. Yeah, but he's completely right. How many QBs do we need to run out of town before we realize that maybe, just maybe, it's not the QB? We could say the same thing about coaches. Games are won and lost in the trenches. You can have the best WRs and RBs in the league, if the OL doesn't make holes and block for the QB, then it won't matter. CW
  19. http://whatscookingamerica.net/Poultry/CajunFriedTurkey.htm http://www.goaskalice.columbia.edu/2277.html http://groups.google.com/group/alt.food/br...55e8981bb7b5d0c And now the opposite viewpoint: http://www.winndixie.com/food/tips/turkey_tips.asp Most seem to think it's ok, some think it's not. CW
  20. Except that nobody could actually see the facemask on any of the replays... Other than that, I agree (although I still don't think you can tell if it was Posey, Wire, or both on the play). CW
  21. We beat both the Dolphins and Jets.... CW
  22. No, he was told he wouldn't play, so he went home. Big difference (unless Fox reported it wrong this morning) CW
  23. Yup, allowing 13 points to a team averaging over 24/game is clearly the fault of the defense. CW
  24. Yeah, I thought it was strange that Carolina was kicking fieldgoals on 3rd down as well.
