And for the first time that I can remember, Firefly dropped to 16th... Yes, better than not making it at all. Once you make the playoffs, all bets are off and miracles CAN happen. I'm not *expecting* it to happen (playoffs, much less winning a playoff game), but I'm *hoping* for it to happen. How can you be a fan and not hope? Remember the excitement around here last year when we were making a push? Don't tell me that if we manage to beat the Panthers that half the board won't be excited again. CW

The checks provide *NO EXTRA SECURITY,* that's my point. If they did, fine, go for it. But they don't and, as pointed out by a previous poster, could actually do more harm than good since a terrorist can easily do something to the crowd of people waiting to get into the gate. So not only are they costing taxpayer dollars, not only are they an intrusion into personal liberties, but they don't improve security one ioota. THAT'S why I'm against them. CW
