  1. I really like Beethoven's as well; the main character in the story is like me, looking for loopholes all the time. CW
  2. Yes, it must be Which CD did you listen to? Their first one (Xmas Eve and Other Stories) is their best (IMHO). Beethovan's Last Night is very good too (has nothing to do with Xmas, but they've played songs from it the last two years I've been there - complete with pyrotechnics). There's some good songs from the other albums, but not quite as good as their original. You should check 'em out! Nobody I know who's been to their show has regretted it. In fact, a couple of years ago we brought my wife's parents (in their 50s) and her grandmother (in her 80s) and they all loved it as well. (I was a bit concerned with her grandmother, since the concert was a lot heavier than I thought it was going to be. After the show, we met up at home and her grandma said, "That was the best show I've seen in a LONG time! The only thing I didn't like were some of the slower songs, they were too quiet. But the loud ones were AWESOME!" Go Grandma!!! CW
  3. Awesome, give us a writeup tonight/tomorrow. I'm not going this year They don't play in Minneapolis until the 26th, and my wife has to work that night. Kinda bummed out, but what can you do. CW
  4. I prefer http://www.eff.org CW
  5. Exactly! If the "SEXY mutha fockers" can't get the girls, how do YOU expect to??? CW
  6. It's official! Mike Williams is the new whipping boy in Buffalo. Last week, people here were upset because he was complaining about being demoted and saying that he'll play guard for now but that he wants to play tackle. Just because he doesn't harp on it every play means he isn't really upset? CW
  7. He was also arrested last month, participated in the Vikings sex cruise, and was found destroying evidence afterwards.... Not exactly staying off the blotter CW
  8. Not me. I'm asking if BiB wants them with or without the uniforms, since CL thinks they're ugly. CW
  9. Without those uniforms? Yuck!
  10. Great, the Bills OL was "average at times" last year. You do realize we were 9-7 last year, right? Further proof that the OL is the culprit. Show me a QB of any age who doesn't make mistakes. Seriously. Name one. Regardless, nobody was saying that DB was Montana/Manning-esque. The only thing we were trying to get through to people the past few years was that Bledsoe isn't the worst QB in the league by a *longshot* and that the main problem with the team is pass blocking, not the quarterback. "Anybody will be better than Bledsoe" looks pretty foolish right about now. Hopefully, once we improve the OL and get JPL some more playing time, it will all work out. CW
  11. Must just be you. When my wife and I went over the border to Toronto and back (back in August), they didn't even check our IDs. CW
  12. I saw this posted on Campy's blog. http://www.campysworld.com Speaking of Chris, anyone hear from him recently? He doing ok? CW
  13. Chuckling, but not drooling.
  14. Well, the people who thought it was all DBs fault obviously must believe it's all JPLs fault this year, considering the rally cry was, "Nobody can be worse than Bledsoe, not even Stojan's grandmother!!!" And for the sarcasm-impaired, I don't believe it's JPL (just like it wasn't DB); I've been saying it's the OL for years. CW
  15. That's the problem with Losman. You have to give him a good OL, good WRs, good TEs, and a good RB before he's any good. What a loser. CW
  16. Need flash/shockwave. http://www.shockwave.com/sw/content/football3d CW
  17. That's an impossible one to replay/review. Once the whistle blows, the play is dead. You want the refs to just never blow the whistle? Can't do that either, it'll add injury. So you live with an imperfect system. Of course, this past Sunday was the first time I can remember that rule ever actually favoring us... CW
  18. Not sure how to pronounce that name. Is it kay-ia? Or Ky-ia? CW
  19. That explains so much.... CW
  20. I was just playing Devil's advocate, since nearly everyone in the "patdown" thread said that I was an idiot for opposing the patdowns, yet people in this thread are saying they should be able to do what they want. CW
  21. They're all over the Twin Cities as well. Pringles makes some that are really good, and there's also a "Target-brand" that's pretty good. There's also some "Buffalo wing" flavored chips around here that are very good. CW
  22. Where are there good salt and vinegar chips? Or are you just talking about generic supermarket chips? CW
  23. So let me get this straight... People say it's ok for teams to do patdowns before entering the stadium ("If you don't like it, don't buy a ticket! They're a private company and can do what they want!!!"), but people are complaining because they can't waive a sign around. Doesn't the same argument hold true...? (ie: it's their stadium, they make the rules and if you don't like 'em, don't go). CW
  24. He looked pretty open at the end of the Panthers game...
  25. Would you tell someone whose neighborhood is being overrun by gangs and drugs to buy a better house? I, for one, think attempting to clean up the unruly base would be a good thing. Easier said than done though, unfortunately CW
