  1. Or that of Rich Gannon or Kurt Warner. They're all long shots. Leave no stone unturned I say.
  2. Please explain this. It could be said that EJ cost us the Jaguars game, however, we were ahead before Blake Bortles led the Mighty Jaguars offense on a 87 yard TD drive with help from the refs. But surely you're not suggesting that if Tyrod started vs Bungles we would have won that game, are you? Our QB laying an egg at the end of both Patsies** games, Eagles, and Cheaps hurt our chances more IMHO.
  3. To get off the kicker game for a moment, I thought Minnesota's strategy was interesting. I noticed this also in another game of theirs I saw. They are extremely conservative on offense and depend on great D play. Looked like what Rex was saying we'd be doing. Ground and pound, ball control, good D. Doesn't matter how good their D is though. If you can't score more than 9 in the playoffs, you have ZERO chance as we saw. I just looked. They were 16th in points scored this year and 5th in least points given up. We were 12th (shows how bad our D was). in points scored We were 15th in points given up.
  4. 5 is the best, right? Wasn't sure so I voted 5. The best part for me was when the Bills got to the Super Bowl and it was against the Vikings. Somebody's gotta win. A writer that knows his/her Super Bowl history.
  5. I agree with this 100%.
  6. Call me the lone wolf, but I hope we can somehow keep Mario and that he plays and is used effectively like in 2014.
  7. Whatever, the results were the exactly the same, a L. 4 of them to be exact.
  8. When it's your last chance and the QB needs to lead the team to a score to win or tie and he instead throws a pick (twice) or fumbles twice on the same play resulting in not getting a first in fourth or decides to come back out and play when he can't even throw, then yeah, he did.
  9. So can Tyrod. See both Patsies** games, the Eagles game, and the Cheaps game. Should we dump him too?
  10. How was that game a "clunker"? EJ was 28 for 42 for 263 yards 1 TD 1 Int 100% Red Zone efficiency 6 carries for 22 yards and a TD. We scored 21 points but the D laid and egg and gave up 34. EJ does not play defense. And let's not forget this stallion QB play: http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2015101804/2015/REG6/bengals@bills?icampaign=GC_schedule_rr#menu=gameinfo|contentId%3A0ap3000000559567&tab=videos
  11. I've seen the cat play a few times and he's always looked good and plays a pro style offense and has been in on a ton of wins. What don't you like about him and what does he need to work on? You obviously know a lot more about him than I do. Could you expound on why you say what you did above?
  12. No you're not. I'm with ya. If we can find someone better, then yeah. But don't just cut him and hope for the best in finding someone else. We could do worse and have. Lewis, Thigpen, and Tuel Time come to mind.
  13. We should wait and see what FireChan has to say about that.
  14. You do know we went 8-8 this year, right? And we haven't been a playoff team since 1999. You know that too, right?
  15. Why was Lovie a solid fire? He had the worst team (2-14) in the league in 2014. In 2015 he won 6 games and it looked like the team was headed in the right direction.
  16. Didn't happen this year though. Must have been a nice un pizzed year for you!
  17. Why anyone even pays attention to this stuff is beyond me. When it happens, we'll all know. I can wait.
  18. "Running down hill." What does this even mean? For a long time I thought it meant running towards the sidelines back when a lot of fields had a crown where the center of the field was higher sloping down to the sidelines. If you are a runner, you know that you can lean down hill when running and significantly increase your speed. "He caught the ball at it's highest point." Isn't the ball's highest point about half way from where the QB threw to it to where the WR catches it?
  19. "I seen it happen before it happened." - Leodis McKelvin talking about Fitz throwing him a pick in the EZ Sunday. Berra-esque.
  20. But only half the time.
  21. Patsies** don't have injuries? Seahawks? Graham, Lynch, Rawls, Richardson.
  22. I would love to see Colton Schmidt throw a TD pass to Jerry Hughes next year.
  23. Our second unit? Did I miss something? Did EJ start? So now Mario, Jerry Hughes, Sammy, Tyrod, Richie Incognito, Preston Brown, Mr. Big Stuff are second teamers? Who knew.
  24. What stupid errors did EJ make in the Bungles game? Our D stunk up the joint and gave up 34 points. EJ threw for 268 with 1 TD and 1 INT and ran for 22 yards with 100% red zone efficiency. EJ doesn't play defense. We scored 21 points which was more than we scored in the 2 previous games to defensive behemoths like Tennessee and New York Giants with almighty Tyrod at the helm.
  25. You mean teams like the New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars?
