Bills going to the Pro Bowl
reddogblitz replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've read on here that Hotrod is the first QB since Blue Dreadsloe and Wood the first center since the Hull Dozer. Does anyone know when was the last time before Shifty McCoy we had a RB? And when was the last time before Incognito we had a Left Guard? -
Personally, I would love to see Vernon Adams Jr. in Buffalo as a developmental QB via a 3rd or 4th or 5th round pick. The dude's magic. When he's in his team rocks and when he's not they suck. See the Shrine game, his bowl game vs TCU, and the first 4 or 5 games of the season for the Ducks when he was out. Like night and day. Like the difference in the Bills when Flutie was in and when Rob was in.

Do We Have Any Bernie Sanders Supporters Among Us?
reddogblitz replied to Rob's House's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Screw that. I entered the workforce 7 years after graduating from HS because I was in the Marines and then went to college. I'm going to retire at 60. Evidently there weren't enough "shovel ready" jobs. -

When your only tool is a charging racism, then every problem looks like a job for charging racism. -
Perhaps Ozymandius, like someone I know, thinks Trump tried to put the moves on Meghan a while back and was rebuffed.

Maybe it should be re billed as a future stars game? That's pretty much who's playing these days. -
No More Xtra Pts...Go For 2!!!
reddogblitz replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have a plan to fix this. When we line up for a 33 yard extra point, have a designated lineman do a false start and move us back 5 to a 38 yarder. Then again, have a different designated lineman false start. Move us back 5 to now a 43 yarder. MONEY! -
No More Xtra Pts...Go For 2!!!
reddogblitz replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We would have lost 24-12. If we did decide to go for 2 a lot, then of course our opponents would notice this as well. They would prepare for it specifically like they probably don't now. They would study our conversion plays fastidiously. Even though the league success rate has been 48%, with us doing it more and team's preparing, our success rate may not be that high? -

I saw the list of teams that draft in the top 8 and we went 4-1 against them this year. Wins over Titans, Cowboys, Fish twice and a loss to Jax. -

Way to go Hotrod and Eric! -
I remember when he got the plattlet rich injection in training camp http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000512376/article/percy-harvin-needs-injection-sidelined-with-hip-pain. He had hip issues in Seattle as well. Face it, the guy ain't gonna be healthy. Neither is Goodwin. Time !to move on and bring in some guys that can suit up 12 games or so a season even if they aren't as good.

Ted Cruz's Flat Tax Plan
reddogblitz replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
If implemented as I've seen proposals, progressive rates wouldn't be needed. We would first figure out a number where poor people wouldn't have to pay taxes on purchases. Let's say $20,000. Then we take our tax rate, let's say 25% to make it easy. So, 25% or $20,000 is $4,000. So on April 15th every year, each adult gets a check for $4,000 to pay for their taxes under $20,000. So a poor person who spends less than $20,000 pays ZERO taxes. The rate would have to be higher for everyone, but the poor would not be railroaded as allegedly happens now. -

I know people like that as well. What industry are you in? Not surprising really. You got functional alcoholics, and you got alcoholic bums. -
This is obviously Hillary's attempt to attract minority voters. The ones who voted for Barack but thus far are not polling well for Bernie. This coincides with her calling Flint a civil rights issue. And goes right along with her Super-PACman saying yesterday that black lives don't matter to Bernie. I just hope they realize they're being pandered too and played and don't fall for it.

Now Hillary is playing the race card: http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2016/01/21/david_brock_black_lives_don_t_matter_to_bernie_sanders.html This comes the day after she called the water problem in Flint a Civil Rights issue.

Do you have a link to support this? I don't think I've ever heard Bernie describe himself as a communist. If he did, please enlighten me.

Rachel Maddow interviewed Hillary on her show and asked her why there were so few debates and why they were on at wierd times line Saturday or Sunday Night during playoffs. She offered one of her dog at my homework/throw the other guy person under the bus excuses. She said it wasn't up to her, it was her staff, and from what she's been told, the ratings were good so it must have been the right decision. Of course she started it off with "I love to debate" and went on to throw her staff under the bus. Very presidential.

This is the part of your original statement I was referring to: "And yes, there are most certainly talented QBs in this draft. Nobody knows if they'll be the answer either, but the wise thing to do is to hedge the bet on Taylor by drafting one." The wise thing is to "hedge the bet". That's opinion. And yes, other teams have had success (how long is long term?) without doing this. Of course our good friend Trent Dilfer comes to mind. But also look at the Cardinals. They have been very good with QBs they didn't draft and everyone else thought was washed up. First they went to SB with Kurt Warner and are now in the NFC Championship Game with Carson Palmer, both of whom were resurrected from the scrap heap. The Buccaneers had their drafted guy (Dilfer again), but then went to another scrap heap guy, Brad Johnson to win the Super Bowl. Bucs were quite competitive for many years with Trent and Shawn King under center before Johnson arrived. Saints won a SB with a scrap heap guy, Drew Brees as well. Teams have won the SB with backups (Hostetler anyone?). Kurt Warner. There is more than one way to skin a cat. That's my opinion anyway.

That's an opinion whether you like it or not.

NFL Network: Shady McCoy on Chip vs. Rex
reddogblitz replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A bigger reason why we lost: 3-8-BUF 33 (1:23) (Shotgun) 5-T.Taylor pass deep right intended for 10-R.Woods INTERCEPTED by 30-E.Reynolds [75-V.Curry] at PHI 33. 30-E.Reynolds to PHI 40 for 7 yards. It was a horribly thrown pass. http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2015121300/2015/REG14/bills@eagles?icampaign=GC_schedule_rr#menu=gameinfo|contentId%3A0ap3000000600302&tab=analyze&analyze=playbyplay
