  1. I'm 100% behind trading for AJ.
  2. Jacksonville did it 4 years ago and the results are in, and it's not good.
  3. Yet with predominantly the same players we went from 4 to 19. 3/4 of the line was coming off of a Pro Bowl season and the 4th was Jerry Hughes. So I'm not so sure about the good players good defense thing.
  4. This is why we need to get rid of it IMHO. It has outlived it's usefulness. We've had a Super Bowl between 2 teams led by black coaches. The only thing it does now is make the black guys look bad because they're perceived as Rooney Rule guys. Anthony Lynn himself says he's not interviewing with anyone who hasn't already interviewed a minority candidate first. What does that tell you?
  5. I brought it up in response to a poster giving credit to Hotrod for a comeback vs Fish. Almost comebacks don't count for EJ. They don't count for Hotrod. They don't count for Fitz. PS I don't hate Hotrod.
  6. Actually we were ahead 31-27 with 5 minutes to go. Then we kicked off and the D rolled over. You might want to review this. You memory seems a little off. http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2015102500/2015/REG7/bills@jaguars?icampaign=GC_schedule_rr#menu=gameinfo%7CcontentId%3A0ap3000000566248&tab=recap
  7. You're right. Hotrod had all of overtime and failed whereas EJ had less than a minute. So that's not a great comparison.
  8. Hotrod didn't comeback with the Fish. Both had leads very late, but the D snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in both cases. So, no comeback for either (no matter who your favorite is).
  9. If you give Hotrod credit for this then you also gotta give EJ credit for his comeback vs the jaguars in London. Fair is fair.
  10. You don't have to like him. He's not coming over to your house.
  11. I too wanted to give Rex another year. And, I LOVE this idea. Even better than Coughlin because of Son of a Bum's history of turning DS around in 1 year.
  12. The guy that does my dog's hair and nails is a big Seahawks fan and he thinks Hotrod is really good. I think Bills fans that don't like Hotrod are way undervaluing him. I suspect him to be a hot commodity should he reach FA.
  13. Except Fitz.
  14. Tom Landry was a defensive genius after being a player coach for the New York Giants. Most remember and think of him as an offensive genius. He was, but maybe it was because he equally understood both sides of the football? We don't need an offensive or defensive minded coach. We just need a good HEAD Coach.
  15. Coughlin as HC and Wade as DC. Lynn or whoever as OC. These guys know how to beat the Patsies**.
  16. If I have been a proponent of hiringGus because in large part I could see a Seattle style D being a good fit for our personal. Similar to what we did with Schwartz. Simple. Line up and go after the football. I fail to see how the defense still being good is any kind of indictment of Gus' abilities.
  17. But Alex Smith is 1000% times better in a close game in the 4th. Which translates into wins which translates into playoffs. It's not even close.
  18. Exactly. If Bill Bellyache wants to trade him to us, that means he's not very good. If he thought Jimmy was good he'd either keep him or trade him to a NFC team. We'd be setting ourselves up if we were to go for this.
  19. I like Hotrod and think we can win with this offense with better D and better Kicking teams. I'd rather keep him than roll the dice with someone else (unless Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers falls in our lap). But come on man, Hotrod can't even carry those guys lunches.
  20. What exactly does Whaley do to sabatoge these coaches? He doesn't get along with them? I don't get along with boss me some comworkers either. Am I sabatoging them? In environments with strong egos, not getting along is not uncommon.
  21. Not interviewing Jim Bob Cooter?
  22. I think he retired after the Giants won thier second Super Bowl over the Patsies** with him as OC.
