All the reasons to draft Josh Allen...

Here are my reasons to draft him: -
I thought yesterday he knew from inside sources this was the plan. Today it's "What I would expect them to do is pay the $6 million bonus". these guys don't know anymore than we do.

NFL Network to replay Snow Game

Amen. And thank you. I have been trying to make that point since the day after the game to no avail. Nice to know someone agrees with me. -

There could be something here. Obviously most kids that play video games don't do this. However, the Columbine guys were heavy into it and even made a custom level of Doom to look like Columbine High School. http://doom.wikia.com/wiki/Columbine_High_School_massacre -

There was also an armed guard at Columbine. There was also a good guy with a gun at the Gifford's shooting that didn't act out of fear of being shot by the police or some other good guy with a gun. -
Yes and No. We scored 30+ vs the Fish and the D meanwhile gave up more. We scored 31 vs the Jets but the D gave up 37. We put up 25 vs Pats and Fish first time and Hawks losing all 3. D has to take some blame for those too. Only one game we would have won if the D kept the other team to 15. Stealers, we lost 27-20. If Rex had built us a great D as promised, the drought would have ended a year or two ealier.

NFL Network to replay Snow Game

It worked so I'm good with it. Bottom line. I didn't "lambaste" anybody. Just the facts mam, "our 3rd string QB that had already thrown 2 picks " It's a different philosophy than yours. Many coaches don't want to over gamble on a play that if they don't get put them in much greater chance of losing. Turning the football over to Indy who had Adam V making long kicks. If they punt, it extends the game. I see other coaches like John Harbaugh for example do similar things. It worked in this case. Go BILLS !! -

And in how many of those cases did we have our 3rd string QB that had already thrown 2 picks with 8" of snow on the ground? That's my whole deal on this. NONE. Or NONE from all the data gathered to get the percentages of times a team punts in OT and wins. A lot of them were probably in a cushy dome with thier starting QB. In the case of this game (8" of snow/3rd sting QB/top WR out) you gotta take all that into account. Not to mention the other team has Adam V kicking FGs and had made a long extra point not long before that. You gotta take the situation along with the percentages into play IMHO. -

Whatever pal. I'm certainly not going to be you. All this stats and big data analysis has made some of y'all clueless What other teams have done against other teams over the last X years has ZERO impact on how 1 play is gonna go. Its like making your roulette bet by looking at the last 20 winning numbers Again, I'll take a coach that makes his decisions based on game conditions and how his team is playing as opposed to one blindly following the Domdab99 flow chart. AND it worked AND we won AND made the playoffs. Good call coach. Its hard to argue with results, but you will anyway. -
Ranking of Realistic Veteran QB Options

My only point was that you don't have to trade up to a top 3 spot in order to get the next Peyton Manning to get to and win a super bowl. I would rather draft someone if someone good is there we can get. In the meantime also get another Free agent and keep Hotrod. No sense putting all your eggs in one basket. Seattle didn't do that and they ended up with Russell Wilson. Minnesota didn't do that yet they have 3 quality QBs. Why tie yourself to only one method of getting the QB. Leave no stone un turned. Don't assume a back up is not good because he's not a starter. Don't assume you can't sign someone better than what we have. Don't assume the only way to get there is by a top 3 draft pick. Drafting the next Peyton Manning would be awesome. I'm not saying don't try. Just don't bet the ranch on a wing and a prayer. That's drought thinking. We're now in the post draft era and it's about winning NOW. -

Again with the false choice. Either you risk everything in the off chance you draft the next Peyton Manning, or you are for mediocrity and that's all you're gonna get. You'd think this years final four and SB MVP would call this theory into question. Tommy, Bortles, Keenum, and Foles (SB MVP). I think maybe "Franchise QB" is perhaps soon to be a thing of the past anyway. Where are they gonna come from? All of the ones people mention, Brees, Rodgers, Rivers, Ryan, Tommy, Big Ben are all pushing 40 or beyond. There are only 3 under 30 and they're all turn 30 very soon. Luck (if he can still play), Cam, and Russell Wilson. And I don't think 6-10 season are fun, but odds are really good if you trade up and pick a QB that's what you'll get. 9-7 this year was fun however.
