  1. I always really, really liked this guy. Wasn't a huge fan of giving the ball to his girlfriend when we were getting B word-slapped in Dallas, but other than that, he was always a stud. Clutch, reliable. Hated seeing him go, but totally understood why. Good on him.
  2. He's a meaty man.
  3. That's fine, homey. But--for real--if you subtracted the top two runs from EVERY teams' performance, that's about the number you'd get.
  4. Why do the negatives get too categories? Yes yes, I understand, Clint Eastwood. But for the sake of compartmentalizing a game, can we begin a movement for The Great, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly? Please?
  5. Very soon. I'll keep you posted.
  6. Yeah, the pizza was a nice surprise. Also, here's the thing with the lettering. Only Chicago Bills fans would know what the t-shirts are all about. Because regular Chicagoans might not recognize the standing Buffalo, and Buffalonians sure as hell aren't going to recognize the flag. So, we (me, I 'designed' them) opted for effectiveness over sleekness.
  7. At what point do we get to start thinking of Wood as a slightly above average center?
  8. And the meager cast surrounding Luck continues to decay. Unless there's a drastic change of course, I can't imagine what kind of shape that roster will be in once his rookie contract expires...
  9. Game winner should have been set up by Leodis' pick in Bears territory on third down. But a nice 20 yarder from our young buck to a FA pickup and that's all the heart and soul of this team needed!
  10. Great meeting you too! Yeah, the minimalist take would be sweet. But we're not that hip. Also, actual standing buffalo logo had to be swapped out by the t-shirt printer. They can't reproduce trademarked stuff.
  11. Haha, you came up to our table like four times, homey! We were right down front. I was with Suj and Bill. I was also wearing hat and glasses. Incognito.
  12. Awesome, man. Notes like these make all the 'work' worthwhile. Glad you had a good experience with Bears fans yesterday because we damn near rumbled with an a-hole who setup shop right behind us. Waitress had to step in and put the bouncer in his place. Sometimes being a VIP is pretty sweet.
  13. Did he get penalized for that?
  14. Good write up, thanks!
  15. Props for Jauron's strategy, and optimism from GG. Mondays after a Bills win are THE BEST! On topic: 3 backs with 50+ yards is a sign of a broken defense up against fresh legs. The big gain from Boobie that should have netted a field goal (thanks, Chandler) and Freddy's (more or less) game winner were no flukes. Hackett's game plan yesterday was sound. As for the defense, Schwartz has been in the ring with Cutler enough times to know how to break him down too. The defense did an excellent job of playing their game and letting Cutler make the mistakes that were inevitable. This, of course, was mostly possible thanks to the individual performances of Graham and of the d-line which kept the pressure on Cutler right until the end. A punt in overtime? Surely this Bills defense comes from bizzaro-world!
  16. I heard Miami's pass rush looks unstoppable--or are there finally some chinks in the Patriots* armor? Moreno put up some huge numbers--are the Patriots* feeling the loss of Spikes and the decline of Wilfork? The game was on one of the adjacent monitors at the Chicago bar, and Tannehill looked equally brilliant and putrid. I'm having a difficult time figuring what sort of opponent we have to look forward to for the home opener. Anyone with some good insight?
  17. We got the pictures up on Facebook. http://goo.gl/Z7KqRN Check 'em out, tag yourself! GO BILLS
  18. Well, that's literally all the further back you'd have to go!
  19. Williams was pissed about the holding picked back up. Said the team used it as a rallying cry, rather than an excuse. "That's the kind of team I want to play on." Between KW, Spikes and Graham, we have playmaking leaders at every level of the defense.
  20. Great contribution, per always, Bill. Getting a road win with only 22 passing attempts against a QB who put up 340+ yards and two touchdowns is oddly spectacular.
  21. Did he take the kickoffs too? Schmiddt was terrific punting today. Quite the contrast to what we're used to seeing, Easley was brilliant too.
  22. To be sure, the ball had no where to go once it entered his belly's air space.
  23. They'll probably be in zone all day.
  24. Oh okay. That's not so bad. So, Corey Graham opposite Leo?
