  1. I get where you're going with this, but are you really putting the 2012 Miami and Indy squads on par with the ones that bested the Pats* in days of yore?
  2. It seems nothing can be said to adequately express the deep sorrow that I and your brothers in Bills nation feel for you and your family. Rest in Peace, Abigail.
  3. I've noticed that, too. Sometimes it's really really bad. I tell myself it's because he's still working on his mechanics, and still not throwing/releasing instinctively.
  4. His receivers made the clutch plays, and in Super Bowl XLII, his defense held a Pats* team that AVERAGED 36 points to only 14. I never said anything about mediocre, but I stand by the "low impact" designation.
  5. Yes--but there's two of ways of looking at it: as a percentage of Super Bowls won, or as a percentage of quarterbacks to have won a Super Bowl. Super Bowl Champs since 1990 (* = low impact QB) SF NYG* WAS* DAL DAL SF DAL GB DEN DEN STL BAL* NE* TB* NE NE PIT* IND NYG* PIT NO GB NYG* 8 of the last 23 SB Champions had low-impact QB's or just over 33% BUT, of those 23 SB Champions, there have only been 16 different QB's which means 50% of the Super Bowl winning quarterbacks since 1991 1990 have been low-impact. Interpret that data as you will...
  6. Post more. And since you agree with me, that's both an answer to your question, AND a direct order.
  7. Thank you. Forward my calls, I got a tee off time with the inventor of music.
  8. That's what everyone says...until they see mine.
  9. Sure, but I'm not sure Kate's most valuable assets are something that are reliably genetic, more of a chance thing (if I had to guess). Is there scientific research on this? (I don't think I can safely input the necessary search terms here at work) But to your point...If daughter is the image of mama in her prime, then who do you seen when the lights go out?
  10. I take issue with any offseason win/loss predictions--positive or negative--that operate from the standpoint of "this team feels like a ___ win team." That's BS. I might agree that this year's Bills feels like a 9 win team, because I think there's some validity to the "they are who we thought they were" mentality, but IF YOU ACTUALLY TOOK TIME TO LOOK AT THE SCHEDULE AND CONSIDER EACH OF THE 16 MATCHUPS, they're much more likely to pick up 11 or more wins (yeah, I said it). Therefore, I refute this blog. Alert the Internet.
  11. I'm a good half decade from fatherhood (god willing), but it sounds like you nailed it. And the reason I thought of it in this case is because she's not doing Playboy, or any kind dirty porn mag, she's posing for GQ--about as reputable as it gets in the mainstream. BUT, it's also a bit more daughter than I'm sure most guys would want to see, thus the precarious situation... And, as I mentioned, between SI and now GQ, she's definitely doing quite well, so I guess we could consider a problem we'd all be lucky to have!!
  12. So a quick question for all you dads out there: There are some very very revealing photos in this shoot. If Ms. Upton is your daughter (she's obviously doing quite well for herself these days), do you support her career by viewing these pics, giver her an atta-girl, may be even comment on how lovely she looks, or do you steer clear of anything and everything that might put you face to face with your little girl's nips?
  13. Dear God. I gotta do a few laps around the office to calm down...
  14. Agreed with most of the senitments here. And when it comes to logo design, less is more. The designer who did these certainly bucked that maxim, but some of them are pretty cool--just not feasible.
  15. This must be the problem. I got mine last August, and I believe the model was less than 2 months old at the time...I take it you're not on Lion then??
  16. This...I was under the impression that flash issues only arose on tablet/mobile devices. I've never had a problem with any kind of flash content on my mini...
  17. Either they didn't, or it came with a premium fee. But methinks it did not. I know MLBTv comes at a premium cost.
  18. This is very significant news. I had Rewind last year, and just thought the other day that I wouldn't be re-upping. It may have just squirmed back into consideration...
  19. I've lived in Chicago for six years now, and right now I live less than a quarter mile from the Weiner Circle, and I'm ashamed to say I've NEVER been...
