  1. dat robe doe
  2. Seriously. He's also a punting specialist. Never mind. Carry on.
  3. Worst guards in NFL? I'm curious to see your 32 team rankings and analysis.
  4. Let them. They're bad enough at their primary objective.
  5. WOW, you predicted Luck would be good!?
  6. Some mistakes are bigger than others, bro. Also, Tannehill has hardly lived up to your incessant billing. And it wasn't your one mistake.
  7. I don't agree that they have comparable athleticism, that's one reason. And by all accounts, save those bitching out his positive post-game PC's, say that EJ has the drive and attitude to lead men. I've never heard anyone say that about Tannehill.
  8. Well, we'll have to disagree on that point. But I've never heard anyone talking about Tannehill's intangibles the way they talk about EJ's either. Yes. Anyone who says no is an unfrozen caveman football fan.
  9. Trade a higher ceiling for a higher floor? Not likely.
  10. And what was the consequence of that re-injury? What are you complaining about?
  11. Well, both hits were borderline illegal. He's been practicing. I'm not sure what exactly we're trying to protect him from since I don't believe YOU believe that any extra "rest' would allow his ribs to be tender-free contact or no contact for week one and beyond. But the whole thing is moot anyways because LIKE I'VE BEEN SAYING, he'll be lined up week one anyways. So, per always, Bills fans have worked themselves into a tizzy over something that could have but didn't happen.
  12. Okay, but what I don't understand is how rib injuries never heal, he suffered a rib injury, but somehow not playing last night would have helped it heal. There's a gap in the logic there.
  13. So, both halves of Rappaport's statement are conjecture. I think by now we know which fans will glom to which half.
  14. I hadn't realized this thread had already morphed into an anti-EJ one. Please, carry on with that.
  15. Or I can't understand if he thinks Sammy should have played or should not have played since he says: Sammy will never be 100% until Maybe OTAs.
  16. No offense, but you really circled around a point without making one. What is it you're trying to say?
  17. And there's where we differ.
  18. He lined up for the next snap. He's going to be fine.
  19. You really can't think of a single reason? You'd rather a rookie WR and a green QB skip over the last three weeks of preseason without any reps? Fact: NFL players play through injuries. Sammy has to learn. I wouldn't have been upset with him sitting last night, but to be willfully blind to any benefits from him playing is just silly, bud. Come on.
  20. So what did you mean to imply by the 'how did that work out?' rhetoric?
  21. You ask: How did that work out? which is a rhetorical way of saying it was an utter failure. Given we don't know the extent of his injury or what will happen in week one, I'm wondering how you've determined that to be the case. I'll regretfully admit I'm wrong if the team releases a statement saying he'll be out for a few weeks. I'm wondering if you'll use that as an opportunity to gloat. More importantly, I'm wondering what your reaction will be if he plays week one (as I expect him to) and plays really well. Will you regret having to admit you're wrong?
  22. He's going to play against Chicago. And I'd be happy to place a wager on that with any of the posters calling Marrone an idiot.
  23. I'm completely !@#$ing serious. Russ Brandon should be fired for failing to initiate the renovation process by putting the grounds of RWS through a deep, deep spiritual cleanse. For awhile I've been convinced that stadium rests on cursed lands, and I'm more sure of now than ever.
  24. I take it they didn't exorcise the Earth surrounding RWS before the renovations.
