He's a game manager with legs and nothing more, he needs a supporting cast and a defense that doesn't put the game in his hands. Shady and Sammy healthy made all the difference in our offense and we all know what Rex did to the d
Thought he looked good in the redzone, was hoping he was resigned but his heart has always been questioned so it's understandable why you wouldn't offer him a contract for a long period of time
I place him above Montana just because Montana was surrounded by great players, Brady continues to dominate with a less then steller cast of recievers.....God it turns my stomach having to admit these things
A LB should lead the team in tackles..How many tackles behind the line of scrimmage did he have?? How many impact plays did he have? Turnovers forced? I'd like to see him resigned for a reasonable contract but he isn't worth 4-6 mill a season
Going back to the 4-3 should allow more pressure on the qb without blitzes and less confusion then Hex had...Also McDermott runs more zone coverages lessoning the need for a big physical corner like Gilmore...Not like he played all that physical anyway
Lorax is the one player that benefitted in Rex's scheme. He won't be worth the $$ in a 4-3. The cap room isn't there for a 34 year old linebacker with one good year.
