The big number of elite DL prospects means we have an opportunity to load up on dominant defensive talent. Taking a flyer on a QB who wouldn't even start would be just plain dumb. If a QB was considered so good that he could come right in and be better than Fitz I'd say pull the trigger. Expecting any of the QBs in this draft to do that is a pipe dream. None of them impress me that much.

Deep Dline Talent + Position Scarcity = DL Round 1, DL Round 2. Simpler. Better chance of success. Also, there are no elite QBs in this draft.

I'm pretty certain we will not be drafting a QB with the #3 pick. The defense is by far the weakest side of the ball and that will be the focus. We may pickup Keapernick(did I spell that right?).

Fairley is definitely a very dominating force. He doesn't like to stop until the whistle blows which is good and bad. There were a lot of QB hits after the ball is gone in that video. I really like his passion for the game and would be happy to see him in a Bill's uniform. I'd be a little worried about his over zealousness though. I could just imagine Brady getting up and pointing at him repeatedly in a game, throwing up his hands and begging for a flag. Kind of an amusing vision in my head.

Quinn is possibility. Wannstedt's comments about living or dieing on the strength of the defensive front are interesting. I would not be surprised if we draft defense early and often. Now that would be refreshing.

Because he would be a cancer to this team. Newton would be drafted in the 1st round and many would want him to start immediately. The problem with that is that you have a guy who all ready has earned the respect of his coaches, team mates and who has proved himself a capable leader. How do you think the guys on the the offensive line are going to react to poster boy, super rookie when they all have a guy that battled and earned his colors with them last year? This is a team sport and an individual's physical skills alone are not going to take us to the next level.

I think your mixing up Pistol with "Wildcat". We did do a little of that with Fred Jackson.
