  1. True. I think Heard is who the odd man out may be.
  2. Eric Wood is quietly pumping iron so he'll be ready to welcome Micheal Jasper to the NFL with a pancake block. CJ is busy running at workout levels that are far more intense than he would otherwise get at a team workout. Note: This information is 100% pure speculation and can not be verified by any media source. But that's what they are doing. @ICanSleepWhenI'mDead, I really don't know what the Bill's policy is on playbooks(whether veterans are still in possession or not). I do know that the rookies have made comments about getting familiar with the Bills system and are discussing with veteran players what will be expected of them.
  3. I think they are using a suckometer to do their measuring.
  4. That about raps it up on the player's voluntary workouts. Here is an article from WGRZ about it. Linky
  5. Searcy happy to be at workouts. Chris Brown Blog TE Chandler could not get a plane to Buffalo workouts because of tornadoes, drives 12 hours to get there. Buffalo news blog Reggie Torbor involved in a car accident just outside of Sahlen's Sports Park. WGRZ
  6. Cris Brown's Blog has a little input on Troupe Linky
  7. I did? I don't recall that at all. I don't mind keeping things in perspective though so here you go: 49ers Blog Talks about player workouts across the league.
  8. Nice article on Dareus. Buffalo News and another. Rochester D & C There you go repeating yourself again. Look, I get that you are not impressed by the team getting together but stop with the Debbie Downer remarks. What's with you?
  9. Who's twitter account is that? Oh yea, David Nelson.
  10. I'm not sure I want waste my time reading another "The new NFL" regurgitation......if that's what this is. Sorry, I'm just stubborn that way. Comes from more than 20 years in the USAF and at least that long as a Bills fan
  11. Vic Carucci on Fred Jackson's near injury at the workouts. NFL.COM
  12. Dareus is at the team workouts. ESPN
  13. I know. I keep hearing these youngsters talking about "this is a new era", "a passing league". Blah, blah blah. You'd think there wasn't anyone else on a football team other than QBs and WRs these days.
  14. So what you are saying is if you can't beat him, join him. No thanks. I want to see the Bills beat him. There simply is no middle ground here. Either beat him, or go down trying. There is satisfaction in that. Putting him in a Bills uniform is like conceding defeat and that is just not acceptable. Sorry, Brady can kiss my rosey red a**.
  15. Alphadawg, I would rather have Fitz than Brady too. Why? Because I don't want no stinkin' Brady. Do I think Fitz is a better QB? Nope. I would just get much better satisfaction seeing the Bills beat Brady and the Patriots than I would by having Brady as a Bill. If that is something you can't understand, you don't know much about being a competitor. I also happen to like Fitz more than Mr. GQ, Tom Brady. Seriously, you fly off the handle over the silliest things.
  16. CBS with football facts. That's a new one.
  17. Still, it's good to see. It's not like they won't get anything out of it. At the very least, they can discuss the playbook, which according to Chris Brown the team didn't get a chance to pass out before the lockout. Apparently, they were planning a meeting with the rookies within a couple of days of the draft but never got the chance.
  18. 5000. If you get started now you might be finished by........................................................................................................I kid!
  19. Wow, didn't see that coming. I wonder if any more rookies will show up.
  20. Um......... so would I.
  21. I read that article the day it was posted and was wondering when someone would comment on it here. Actually, it was a well thought out piece and pretty accurate when discussing Troupe's poor technique. While it is way too soon to be alarmed, there is still some reason for concern. That game was early in the season and Troupe was obviously not strong enough to hold up. In later games, he got better with technique by getting lower. Still, he was no Kyle Williams when it came to technique and pure power. With big guys like Troupe, Williams and Heard all ready on the team it is notable that a guy like Jasper was chosen in the draft. Again, I do not think alarmed is quite the right word but it is certainly something to be concerned about. Being pushed back so running backs can find a gap right up the middle is not something that you can ignore.
  22. Awesome. I think he may be moved to OLB and in college had some great pass rush moves.
  23. Wow. Evans pays some very remarkable compliments to Fitz. He seems to be very happy that Fitz will be starting this year. Coming from a veteran like Evans it seems to carry more weight than some other articles I've seen about Fitz.
  24. Today's workouts include a football WGRZ
