  1. I couldn't agree more, having a couple of decent production RB's not only saves money but it saves on the wear and tear of their bodies. I'd venture a guess and say that a RB who shares carries is going to have a much longer career expectancy. The only downside is that in order to have 2 successful backs it seems that you need to have "team players" that aren't concerned with getting 1500 yards with 10-20 TD's. Willis could never be part of a 2 back offensive system.
  2. First off I'm not some flag waving nazi overly patriotic american. Second I was completely sober for the entire game. But didn't Billy Joel miss a line of the National Anthem? Didn't he forget the part "O'er the ramparts we watched" ??
  3. Thank you, I'm so sick of hearing about U2 and that smug faced retard Bono. He can take his politics and shove them up his ass.
  4. um, Joel missed a whole line of the Star Spangled Banner, he was probably wasted
  5. After watching tonight's game (tonight being only the 2nd full game I have watched of Grossman) I have to question how Rex Grossman managed to even make an NFL roster, ever. He has no basic fundamental skills at all. 1. His pocket presence is a joke, he has the "jumpsies" while in the pocket and more importantly while he is throwing the ball. This led to many poorly thrown balls as one cannot throw a steady ball while hopping up and down. He never sets his feet and is always attempting passes while moving. 2. His overall throwing ability is poor at best, he rockets the ball very high into the air (reminds me of Jake Plummer) and just hopes that someone will catch it. Yes he can throw it far but so could I when I was 14. 3. He is so unsteady in every action that he takes on the field, snaps, handoffs, rollouts, he looked like a hyperactive child out there. I'm glad that the Bears lost, he did not deserve to be part of any victory.
  6. I'm waiting for the Denny Green rant to be made into one of those "press conference" bud light commercials Just think of how funny they can make it
  7. Nice to see up there, I couldn't find a thread on this yet so here it is. If we ever get sick of seeing Thurman up there then it should be changed to Lee Evans or JP Losman.
  8. Don't worry blue, I get it. "Blue you're my boy!!!!"
  9. Keep this thread alive until Thurman replaces Willis SuckGahee on the banner!!!
  10. Sorry for your loss Bart.
  11. Isn't that a quote from Short Circuit?
  12. What the hell is a 'VCR'??????
  13. He's probably out of money due to his self admitted amphetamine addiction. How one connects a concussion with amphetamine addiction is beyond me. Sounds fish, I still hate Billy B. though.
  14. I agree completely. Kind of funny to think how that 11 million could be spent on FA or developing younger players though. I bet they won't make the playoffs again this year.
  15. Billy B. is a huge douchebag.
  16. I hope Grossman breaks every record for futility ever set in the NFL. He is a terrible QB and does not deserve to be part of the Bears. For that reason alone, I hope the Colts win 103-0
  17. That's probably true, but I've heard from several unverified and highly un-credible sources that he includes a happy ending in all rehab sessions.
  18. Tyra is one of the biggest tards I have ever heard speak. She brings in huge ratings though, sais alot about the intelligence of her viewers.
  19. Recently rented the new Mike Judge film titled 'Idiocracy'. If any of you get a chance you should go rent it, it's a hilarious venture 500 years into the future. The movie never made it to wide audiences thanks to Fox's meddling and their fear that it would be too offensive of a movie for your common American. I found it very entertaining with a few slow moments but well worth it.
  20. There's a very decent movie that just came out on DVD called 'Idiocracy', it highlights some of the finer points made in this post. Everyone should watch it, it's not an emmy winner but it's hilarious and has come great commentary.
  21. That's herecy you unamerican 'W' hater!!!!!! lol this country would never switch to the metric system, it would make FAR too much sense to do something like that.
  22. 2 things, I like the double threat idea and I really like your avatar. Ron and Fez time is my favorite time of day
  23. Well if that's the case then Bruschi is obviously the Father. In the name of the Father, the son and the holy Bruschi, amen.
  24. whoa bart!! no need for the British worries I think that McGee has done an excellent job at KR, my concern is that if he is to be the #1 CB which seems a likely possibility this coming season I would hate to lose him to injury returning kicks. Parrish shows remarkable ability at PR and when he did return some kicks 2 seasons ago he averaged 30 plus yards (this was for 1 game of course). I say give him a shot, not to insult McGee or any McGee supporters but more out of preservation to McGee who I think will step up his play at CB this year out of necessity and to try and better his 06 play (which was quite abysmal at times)
  25. I suggest to take the chance on Parrish at KR as being possibly being less risky than McGee becoming injured on ST and losing his ability to play corner. Kind of like this McGee KR + McGee CB= 5 (relative number but trying to represent value to the team) Parrish PR + Parrish WR=3 Parrish KR +Parrish PR +Parrish WR=4 with less loss if he were to be injured returning kicks as his play at WR is good but not stupendous and certainly is not something that the team hinges on. To simplify, Parrish's role as WR is less needed than McGee's at CB. I say this because I see some trouble ahead at the CB position for the Bills. If Clements is gone and Kiwaukee Thomas leaves (which has been alluded to by posters and media sources) then McGee and Youboty suddenly become #1 and #2 barring a productive CB grabbed in the draft.
