  1. "Ah Joey, I see scraps is a boy dog" ]
  2. I'll bump this one again. Also I see that I left out Aaron Schobel, stupid me. There appears to be no way to edit a poll. Always reassuring to see that Randy Hand has collected 2 votes.
  3. For those of us who love Thurman but would like to be reminded of a positive future and not the glorified past. I tried to pick some of the impact players on the current roster, if I left someone out then screw me.
  4. I liked the Thurman banner move after Willis hurt all of our feelings with his 'Toronto' remarks but I think it should be a current player. I vote for Lee Evans.
  5. Anyone else notice that on the Pats board that when one of the posters typed something along the lines of "I hope he breaks both of his legs..." that all the other posters got mad and kind of ostracized the guy. Made me laugh my ass off, how often on this board is physical pain wished upon a player or person and the whole damned board jumps in with the negativity? Gotta love us fans.
  6. "From what I have seen of Willis, he is a heck of warrior," Lewis said. "The way he runs and the passion he plays with his contagious. He plays the game the way it's supposed to be played." http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=rave...t&type=lgns Ray Lewis must be the biggest r-tard on the planet to have actually said that. There is no more poor of a statement that could be found describing the play of WM. I see it this way, Lewis believes that the game of football should be played by HIV positive paint huffers who wind easily.
  7. If that's a Stripes reference I commend you
  8. You are probably right, here's how I see it come draft day. Round-Position 1. Free safety 2. Left Tackle 3. Free safety 4. Strong safety 5. Guard 6. Cornerback 7. Free safety I'm really just being an idiot, I hope it's a good draft but I'm sure that Marv will surprise us. I do have faith in his drafting ability.
  9. Good one crayonz, love it.
  10. John I do agree with your thoughts: Willis IS a talented player when the motivation is present (which only appears to be when the Bills play the Jets). If he would 'show up' to games consistently I would have no problem with him whatsoever. Willis could very well be productive this season given that it is his contract year and he would be playing behind a revamped line. My big question (and this is why I think he will be released by Marv) is regarding how well will he recover from this trade fiasco? Will he 'show up' to games, try hard and discontinue his unintentional alienation of the fans? I believe that Willis is not the special type of person that perseveres through something like this and comes out stronger, an intelligent person takes criticism in stride, works through it and shows the world that they can produce. My gut tells me that Willis isn't this type of person, even if it could result in a massive payday for him. Yes this is a business, if it were my business I would think long and hard about the potential versus the realistic scenario here. Can Willis produce 1500 yards with 10 TD's? Or is it more likely that Willis will become a cancer, a lame duck so to speak giving minimal effort? His numbers were not very good this year, imagine his 'forgetting plays' and 'missing the hole' mixed with a bad 'woe is me' attitude. I wouldn't risk it, I'd try to trade him and if that fails I would release him.
  11. Dennis, I think we agree more on this than either of us originally believed. If the Bills can get a 3rd for McGahee I'd love it, it would be an excellent end to this situation. Regarding an outright release: I think that thi is a possibility only because the waters have been soiled. (By the fans, the media and the front office in that order) I believe that if he remains in Buffalo (assuming a trade can't occur) then the front office would be taking the risk of having a real cancer develop on this team. McGahee has been called out and his abilities and effort have been called into question, I would guess that it probably worries him and ticks him off to a certain degree. He doesn't seem like the kind of person/player that becomes more motivated when he is criticized. He just seems a bit 'off' I guess, like he ate alot of batteries as a child or something. Where as you or I might try harder to correct our mistakes/shortcomings I don't see him doing that. If he remains on the Bills I see him doing more damage than good and I hope that the front office recognizes this as a possibility.
  12. Dennis I'll bet you an imaginary billion dollars that Willis is not playing for the Bills in 2007.
  13. TKO yes but no way Willis is here for the '07 season. He will be a cancer to this team, why would anyone want to play for a team that has publicly outted (sp?) them? Willis will be gone, probably through outright release, no team will give B-flo what they want for him and his release will have to occur due to his soiled persona now. I've never been a big fan of Willis but now it looks like this will go down as bad move by Marv, we will lose Willis and most likely have to rely on a 2nd or 3rd round pick to start at RB as the Bills are in no position defensively to draft a RB with the first round pick.
  14. Yeah and while he's at it maybe he can sell popcorn and sing the national anthem, seriously, you do know how crazy you sound right?
  15. Walker sure as hell better be starting at one of the positions you mentioned, if not he is the biggest waste of freaking money I have ever seen, at least Mike Williams was an unkown with high prospects when he was signed. Walker's body of work consists of being part of one of the worst lines in recent years.
  16. I don't think there's any way he comes back to Buffalo. Marv will not bring someone back who supposedly was involved with underage girls. The guy also had a great aptitude to fumble the ball. I don't think that you are advocating bringing him back Ken so this is not meant to insult you but I just don't understand why many fans cannnot let go of the past with certain players. It's an attempt to hold onto what people perceive as some sort of 'glory days', as if consistently missing the playoffs and having a fumbler as your RB are the 'glory days'. Bring back this guy, bring back that guy, blah blah blah
  17. I'm with you on this one, many people are unsatisfied with Price's numbers this year. He had over 40 catches which I think is very decent considering that in games 1-8 Losman seldomly looked off of Evans. Given all the circumstances, (bad OL for games 1-8, JP not looking off of his primary, short routes, etc) I think that Price played about as well as anyone could have. This season he will produce much more I'd bet.
  18. touche' mike 22nc One question you should have asked yourself is how much is a 'gajillion'? If 1 gajillion=12 jesus' then 1 a billion gajillion is 12 billion jesus' How much are you willing to bet that a gajillion is also an infinite number. gajillion loves me this I know, because my 6th grade eduction tells me so
  19. If Wes Welker is worth 38 million then Lee is worth a billion gajillion over infinity years. Seriously, Welker has numbers of a solid #3 WR, amazes me that he's getting this much.
  20. Yeah but Willis had a good year in 2004, doesn't that mean he's worth a 1st round pick now?
  21. Getting a 3rd for Willis at this point would be excellent. With all of the bad PR as of recent regarding his play and performance a 3rd round pick should be welcomed with open arms by the Bills front office.
  22. Both get 5 years 25 million. One was a strong contributor and on field leader of a growing defense in 2006. The other played a pivotal role on one of the worst offensive lines in the history of the NFL. Worth the same?
