  1. I'd hate to see what that involves, probably alot of vocal clicks and tones with an audience of sheep and goats.
  2. Roscoe has done a decent job in spot receiving situations for the Bills IMO. His salary would be well earned though if he were also returning kicks.
  3. I couldn't agree more, mix the "I miss the Bills playing" blues with the complete lack of sunlight in upstate NY and the memories of the early 90's and things just get all dreary and melancholy. I just go live in my madden fantasy world where the Bills have great drafts every year and win every game by at least 70 points.
  4. Your philosophy of building a core is a foreign idea to Ralph it appears. Buffalo and San Fran are the NFL's entire farm system. It only goes downhill from here.
  5. I agree that it would be nice to see the Bills survive without a big #1 CB. the Pats do have a great CB though, Asante Samuel, he was top 5 in many categories this year
  6. Good post, I agree with all except that I see Everett going and Leonhard staying.
  7. That's what may be a possible indicator that it's true, she can't really make a whole bunch of money on someone who doesn't have much.
  8. I thought the most supposed weak part of the Bills line was the guard position (at least it's what everyone has been hinting at for quite some time now) so why not spend a few buck and bring in at least 1 good guard. I definitely get what you're saying though and agree that the money should be spend wisely.
  9. love it, except I would modify it a bit Waitress: Can I help you? Dick: Do you have any white bread ma'am? Waitress: Yeah. Dick: I'll have a single slice of toasted white bread please, if it's too much trouble to toast it don't worry about it and no rush whatsoever ma'am. Waitress: You want butter or jam on that, honey? Dick: No ma'am, dry. Waitress: Do you want anything to drink with that? Dick: No ma'am.
  10. Someone explain this to me, I was under the impression that the need was at the Guard position? won't drafting a tackle cost more money? are most guards converted tackles?
  11. props to you man, I completely agree. Give me the superbowl years offense with the '02 defense.
  12. This is a pretty pathetic number for the Skins, it is going to take monstrous maneuvering for them to land Clements IMO. A Clements deal is going to cost at least 6-8 million per year I'm guessing.
  13. are you effing kidding? of course the Jills were probably with him. The guy has written and starred in over 1200 adult films.
  14. okay Dingo that's fine but you left a major facet of that play out in your thoughts, the double fake spike-fake fumble then real fumble shortly recovered thereafter followed by an intentional interception with a forced fumble in the endzone. I swear it worked in practice every freaking time. like duh!!! seriously, some people.
  15. Ten freakin bucks as a signing bonus from the Bills sounds about right. seriously though, good post, I agree.
  16. Protard has great etiquette
  17. Ok Mods just delete this, I see someone else beat me to the punch.
  18. http://buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=4583 Just a bit of sarcasm, sounds like he could be an intelligent player which coincides with Marv's approach which has worked thus far.
  19. gutter, he was probably turgid and has been turgid since winning
  20. In terms of general football discussion this move would be retarded, Vick is not a proven commodity anymore. Unless you want a QB that will quickly alienate your receivers and consistently have a QB rating of 70 I'd go with someone different. I fully agree with sending Moss packing, he is a proven cancer. In terms of my extreme dislike for the Raiders I hope they go ahead with this move, this guarantees them at least 3 more years of turmoil (until Vick finally gets released after getting his 74rd "second chance" to perform). Go Raiders!!!
  21. I think you're right, that game wasn't exactly exciting by any means whatsoever. If I recall correctly there were several threads started after that game about how boring the Bills were to watch. Indy didn't put up any numbers in that game either, it was a game of only short runs and short passes. I've always heard that the RCA dome is the hardest stadium to play at due to noise and crowd involvement.
  22. Nice post Chipsky, I was worried up until Parcells' resignation about playing the Cowboys next year. Unless they hire another disciplinarian coach for next season I think TO will have a field day. I bet they win 6 games next season, one of which will not be agains the Bills.
  23. You never know what you'll get out of Clements. I was firmly in favor of re-signing him a few weeks ago but when I think about how awful his '05 season was I have some reservations. Nate plays hard when there is something on the line (a big contract) but other than that his play seems mediocr. We don't have to worry anyways, B-flo will not put up the money for him.
  24. I worry about taking guys from the same line, it's like McCargo playing on the same line as Mario Williams. There was synergy between all that made every player appear better than what they actually were. I know we're talking O-line here but it still concerns me as I think McCargo will probably be labeled a bust by years end 2008.
