  1. I went to a game with my father when I was maybe 7 years old. It was maybe 10 degrees out and we were sitting in what is now the Jim Kelly Club (wasn't then). My dad looked over in the box and saw his boss sitting in the front row so he waved and his boss came out and invited us inside. But the windows on the box were tinted and I was so scared I wouldn't be able to see so i refused to go in. After much coaxing and a promise I could get anything I wanted inside I reluctantly accepted to go in. My dads boss took me to all the merchandise stores and food places and I felt bad asking him to buy me something so finally I just asked for some french fries. My dad still calls me a dummy for that Simply put some of my first memories was sitting outside with my dad and brother chanting "DANNY DANNY" and tasting some really bad apple juice . I'm hooked for life. Even when the Bills are horrible I can always count on them to give me something to talk about and root for. Frankly I wouldn't trade it for anything and someday I'll be rewarded for my patience and consistent loyalty
  2. I'm glad they said something. I've been sick of watching the Bills just accept their lot that they get screwed on the schedule every year. Nice to see them just stand up and say hey, this is bull ****. I imagine the complant was made now to point out how they face the same division rival for the second time with that opponent having this advantage. It gives a recency effect a complaint in March just wouldn't do. I'd be willing to be the Bills face one team coming off a bye week next year because of this. Also we are not the only team to give up a home game every year. Jacksonville is going to England every year and they may actually be hurting the brand by doing that.
  3. really? He had one catch in the preseason ONE. He wasn't getting it done and if we kept him he would have to play special teams and Easley wouldn't be here.
  4. He wanted to play for his O line coach. Rhinehsrt wasn't the difference this year.
  5. The best part was his name was already in auto correct
  6. I don't remember reading any of that. He had one catch against the colts in preseason but other than that he was invisible
  7. I happen to be in a program that studies this kind of stuff. I'll look into it more if I have time this week and see what I can find
  8. So what is the Sunday night game?
  9. Yeah just his build.
  10. He had one drop early that could have been a big play. He looks like Julius Thomas on the Broncos. If he can utilize his talent he could be a nice receiving option in years to come. That said he was a 7th round pick for a reason
  11. I wouldn't think 33%. That seems high. In terms of how much solar will improve in the next few years, I wouldn't say immensely. The technology is pretty much at its peak efficiency as I understand it. There are ways to enhance how much you can get (proximity, south facing ect.) A 20 year lease, thats probably about the normal payback period right now so that number isn't out of left field.
  12. So you were watching ABC family tonight huh?
  13. I hate looking to next year. There are things to like about this team but just once I would love for it to work all together in one season.
  14. This happens so often in the NFL this is hardly news. Plus we didn't offer him a contract. We didn't release him.
  15. Geno hasn't been asked to do much as of late and it is helping them win. I wouldn't be shocked if this game went either way but given our recent track record I think this will be another loss
  16. A friend of mine in my grad school program was talking about getting his free meal and meeting up with some friends for dinner. I noticed he was still at his desk so I asked him what happened and he said everyone bailed on him so he was just gonna have a beer in his apartment and have leftovers. I couldn't allow that so I made him get his coat and got him a burger and beer tonight. The least I could do for someone that sacrificed so much
  17. My girlfriend loves it. Always says I should get on there but I just can't get into it.
  18. I want to believe in EJ. I really do. I was encouraged by what I saw the first few weeks of the season and live I saw the talent the Bills saw when they drafted him. His work ethic seems great and from what we can tell he wants to be great. All that is encouraging. For so long I think all Bills fans just want a guy we can rally around. I really want that to be EJ. Today was very discouraging. I felt like this was a winnable game for this team. I thought EJ would make a few plays and get his rust off and we would roll to a victory. Obviously that didn't happen and i was left with my doubts than encouraging signs today. I hope EJ looks back on this and gets it together next week. I still have hope for him. I'm not ready to give up on him after a few games. I'm frustrated that it seems we continue spinning our wheels and gaining no traction year after year. It sucks, it hurts watching them and just waiting for them to finally get it. But to throw EJ to the curb right now seems like such a waste. I hope he turns it around and becomes the guy we all hope he can be. A few more stinkers like today and we may actually have to look for a replacement soon. That thought is just awful to me.
  19. No offense to woods, but CJ and Freddy are the offense and its not close
  20. Run the ball. Early middle and late. Get 300 yards rushing
  21. I just tried to explain that to you. He is driving the mentality of the team, making sure the entire team is on the same page. You seem to just say well if he wasn't here, we would be fine. But nothing to support that except well Pettine is a good coach. No one is disagreeing with that but I see a whole different attitude from the TEAM that I haven't seen in a long time. The HC sets the tone of the team. So I credit Marrone for that
  22. Link? Also the HC doesn't have to call the plays to be a good coach. Marrone came in and said he was going to be like a CEO. make sure the TEAM is moving as one. There is value in that. More than one way to be a good coach. Gailey called a good game sometimes right? But he failed because he was an OC trying to be a HC and the team as a whole failed. Not everyone can do both and some people are better motivators than coordinators
