  1. This is now the most ridiculous post ever! We have some who rate Polian very low as far as GM skills! Thank you for restoring my faith in this board! This has been the boards most depressing off season ever!
  2. I cannot figure that out, he drafted horribly and did NOT/NOT get it done; the organizational culture he left behind horrendous! The Marv Levy (GM), Buddy Nix, and Doug Whaley the most damaging and unproductive era in the teams history. Yet he has this thing for Bill Polian who built not only a winning team - but a winning culture, go figure!
  3. He did NOT/NOT build a winning organization - the Bottom line!! The Bills built a winning team (73 - 76) in the 1970's, BFD! How many playoff wins did they get - the players DW brought in were good football players, but not winners! Get over it!
  4. Doug Whaley over Bill Polian, how can you possibly come to that conclusion, again, this is a gag post! If not, whatever your smoking I want to try!
  5. This has to be a "gag" posting; if not oh boy!
  6. The two big names were Mike Curtis and Ted Hendricks, both free agent Linebackers on the Colts, Buffalo signed neither despite rumors of talks. Buffalo News ran an article in mid October reporting friction between Ralph and Saban over his veto of possible trades. Lou resigned and 1976 and 1977 were really miserable seasons!
  7. Great post, my family owned season tickets from 1960 until the late 1980's, I remember the mid 1970's when the Bills were back in contention and I have to agree with OJ's statement that the Bills were one of the best teams in the NFL in 1975. I don't think Ralph was committed to building a winning team during that era, however, he did cut loose some cash in the mid 1980's and built a dynasty. Well into the late 1990's he was still spending cash - we signed Jim Jeffcoat as a free agent from Dallas and paid him three million a year to rush the QB on third and long. The Bottom Line is the team is still here and he could of moved it!
  8. Unfortunately, not soon enough!
  9. Thank you, great post!
  10. Fire everybody and start over!!! The quality of this board is dropping fast!
  11. Thank you for a great post and much needed sanity on this board, you have restored my faith!
  12. Could not agree more, this is embarrassing to serious Bills fans
  13. The off seasons on this board are getting super crazy!
  14. Congratulations, this is the most ridiculous post ever! You must be joking!
  15. Do you want a rookie QB to be gradually eased in or thrown in forcefully?
  16. The players of the 1960's were blue collar guys active in communities like everyone else. There was a Tavern somewhere either in North Tonawanda or Tonawanda where Marty Schottenheimer played Uecker during the week. Different era!
  17. Could not agree more Keep dreaming
  18. As a fellow NT Alumni I understand!
  19. Not if he wins a Super Bowl; his stock will shoot really high.
  20. They come out during the off season!
  21. Back in the 1990's, AOL had a Bills board that presented intelligent discussion; bigmaebel, dixon22! Where are you guys and look at what we are getting now! Is it a millennial thing or are Bills fans just losing it?
