  1. Let's face it, the Bills haven't beaten a .500 or better team all season. Looking ahead, they face the next 3 games against teams that are below .500 and could defeat. However, the Browns are ready to defend their manhood after Lewis threw them under the bus, KC is KC, but in KC they could easily handle the Bills...especially with a fired up LJ running through and over the Bills pathetic defense. And, SF is now rejuvinated under Singletary and gave Zona a hell of a game... something the Bills weren't even close to doing. That said... if the Bills lose these next three, going into Toronto to face the Dolphins is going to be a day of reckoning for Jauron and Brandon. If the Bills lose that game too, and I GAR-UN 'f'ing" TEE it... Ralph will be in both of their faces... when they sleep, when they're in the office, when they're eating lunch, when they're taking a dump. Yes, the Bills having lost 7 in a row would be a bad thing. But, Ralph meddling in Dick's and Russ' schitt all the time would be sweet, and just as bad as a death sentence. Ralph is gonna tell them who to play and what coach(es) to fire and, who knows... best case scenario, Dick may get sick of it and resign and Russ get sent back to Marketing...That's a good thing, cuz this team, with the easiest schedule they've had in years, has clearly taken a step backward. Perhaps Ralph will see the folley in his Brandon/Jauron experiment, come to his senses and get a GM in here with the tenacity and balls of Polian and a coach that at least has a pulse, as well as a set of balls. Probably too much to ask or hope for though.
  2. Optimism? Optimism? That's the strategy??? That's it? Better tell Jauron... maybe he hasn't used that one yet.. How about facing reality? The Bills CANNOT beat a team that is .500 or above... that's a fact. Could they win the next 3? Perhaps, because the next 3 team they face teams which are < .500. What about beating a team > .500? Not gonna happen! They've demonstrated it every opportunity they've had. We need to acknowledge that this team really really stinks. Can't anyone deal with reality anymore?
  3. You’ve all seen the Mac commercial that disparages Windows Vista for putting all of their $$$ into marketing and nothing into fixing Vista’s problems… if any of you have experienced Vista, you feel the pain. Russ Brandon would be the face of the Bills in a commercial like that…. Putting all the effort and resources into marketing and getting the season ticket sales up, and little or nothing into putting a better product on the field. This team is arguably the worst 5-4 team in Bills history… it could easily be 2-7. When you break this team down, Ralph Wilson, at 90 years old has more passion than the rest of the organization combined. The problem is… @ 90 yr’s old… there ain’t a whole lot of fire left in the belly and he’s no longer capable of making good descisions. Putting Brandon in charge and re-upping Jauron were horrible decisions. Brandon might be able to sell ice to an Eskimo… but he has no clue or cogent game plan in assembling a winning team. And, Jauron doesn’t either… if it’s up to him, he’s happy with a bunch of high character, intelligent, zombie choir boys…. Well Dick… how’s that been working out for ya? If the Bills win next Monday night… it will be for one reason and one reason only… Ralph fired them up. That’s right…Ralph… not DJ, not PW, not TS, not any of the players. There is no leader on this team. There is no emotion, passion, and no one that can consistently keep the team playing with any degree of passion. Don’t give me the Whitner boloney. Whitner’s just another “blow and no show” bull$chitter. You want guys that fire up the team… Kelly, Thomas… on defense guys like Talley, Leonard Smith, Biscuit, London Fletcher, TKO, Milloy. This team, aside from Mr. Wilson, has no balls, no guts, no backbone. From Brandon on down this team accepts losing… especially Jauron and his coaches. This team has taken on the personality of their coach… laid back, no fire, no emotion, no balls. Content just to be a coach in the NFL… content to be abused by the other three division foes. This is easily the most spineless Bills team in their history…. More spineless than 85. With DJ signing his 3 year extension… Ralph wont fire his ass for at least 2 years… and then another 6 year rebuilding program. With DJ as coach of this team, they cannot, will not, ever, ever, ever make the playoffs. By some devine miracle, should it happen by accident (and that’s the only way)… it will be one and out.
  4. Dude... WTF???? Have you been in a coma the past 8 frickin years? This isn't a reaction to simply the Bills first 8 games this season. This is the past 8 years (and certainly the last 3 years) coming home to roost. Bandwagon my ass. we know what a Schitt sandwich when we see one. When the Bills won their first 4, everyone was jacked up... finally we think we're on the right track. But there were many (myself included) that said.... wait a minute, 4-0 is great, but they really haven't played anyone or dominated... They are still a work in progress, but the signs were positive. We all expected the Bills to get a little bit better each week. But no one expected the team to do a 180 and totally go in the tank and to lose to the Dolphins.... getting torched for 315 yards by Pennington, or the Jets at home... and then soon to get whacked against the Pats... and then will get spanked by the Browns at home on national TV (Browns have 11 days to prepare for that game). So, after winning 4 in a row to begin the season, then lose 5 of their next 6, you're ok with that and don't think us fans should be ripping anyone and everyone in the Bills organization apart and/or jumping off a bandwagon? How bout the Bills simply let us down big time? Instead of us jumping off the bandwagon, we got thown off the bandwagon and run over!!!!!!!!!! Any criticism this organization gets is earned and weel deserved. They whiffed big time... on the GM... and the coach
  5. Let's keep it real here... and simple. We've all seen the way this team has played. Aside from the first game of the season, they haven't dominated anyone. For the most part (except for Zona) they've been in striking distance in the 4th qtr. But, so has their opponent. Now... of their 5 wins, they beat teams that are a collective 12-28 today. Their losses have been to teams that today are a collective 14-11. Not once have they beaten a team that today is .500 or better. Furthermore, they've lost 2 games with in their division and will lose their 3rd straight division game Sunday. That leaves three division games to play in the division and they will not win at least two of them. No matter how they perform outside the division... they've already sealed their fate. If it were to come down to tiebreakers for a playoff spot (which it will not), they are elimated. The two games they just lost were games in which they had to win if they had any hopes of a division crown or wildcard spot. So...put the champagen away ... at least for a few years. Realistically, we could be looking at our next "W" on Nov. 30th when SF comes to town, especially with the injuries that are accumulating on defense. KC on the road is by no means a lock. If we go by the Bills record and their record against their opponents, they've already demonstrated they can't win against a team that is .500 or better. Even if the Bills get by KC and SF, the rest of the teams in front of them are .500 or better. We're going into the nasty weather... and this team can't run the ball and the defense can't stop anyone. The best we can hope for at this point is 9-7.... and that's my heart talkin. My head tells me more like 8-8.
  6. Dude... you told it like it is. I can't disagree with anything you pointed out. This team has taken a step backwards in all three phases of the game. The defensive line is not that good, Poz is not as good as I expected, Ellison is worthless. The reserve LBs are not as good Hagood a Stamaos. Offensively they are slightly better than last year. And worse yet... aside from Hardy's one TD and a few good KO returns from McKelvin, we've gotten next to nothing from our first 4 draft picks. Chalk one up in th L column next week,, This will be the 4th consecutive week the Bills have faced a 3-4 defense... which they've demonstrated to have real problems moving the the ball against with any consistency. Chargers an exception. what this team needs is games against Cincy and the Lions. They've got one like that coming up against KC, but watch them blow that one. I stated after the Cardinal game that the best we could hope for is 10-6. Well, I've changed that to 9-7... and if they lose to the Chiefs... no better than 7-9.
  7. SOFT on all accounts on defense... all 11 are soft. There is no physical... kill shot mentallity. Just a bunch of high character choir boys.
  8. Those two defenses bring it. Bills defense is not even close to being in that class. They are at least two notches below. But... don't blame Fewell. If Fewell were to be fired, nothing would change except for the DC's name. Make no mistake about it, Jauron is the defacto DC... this is his defense, and they are about as physical as two poodles in a pillow fight. This team's best defensive strategy is for the offensive to control the clock and consistenlty orchestrate 14 play drives.
  9. Two things... 1) you're spot on 2) you've got balls to post something like this... the rose colored glasses crowd is going to skewer you. But, in the end, there are only one or two things wrong with the team. Either there is a serious lack of talent, or, there is a serious lack of coaching... or, perhaps both.
  10. Coming off a huge home win against the Bolts and now hitting the road to face the Dolphins, this game is huger than a Billy Fucillo fire sale. The Bills better not be having a hangover from the Bolts win. The o-line is banged up with Fowler and Butler nursing injuries, leaving them with just Chambers & Bell healthy reserves. It is imperitive that this running game get untracked and control the ball on offense today. Defensively without Schobel and virtually playing with two and 1/2 linebackers and zero depth after that, the Bills need to function on all eight against an offense that is ranked #11. Dolphins are a scrappy young team... very capapable of taking out any team... as witnessed by their shellacking of the Patriots in Foxboro. More importantly, this is a division game. If they lose to this team, especially after what they've accomplished, and fans wonder why the media, etc. give the Bills no respect, well... that would be why. However, a win today would go along way to legitimizing the Bills as not only a playoff contender, but a SB threat. Like I said... this game is huger than a.... come 1600... we will have an answer.
  11. what if marshawn runs for 25 yards? what if Jackson runs for 200 yds? what if Landanian runs for 400 yds?
  12. probably wouldn't have traded for that 1st pick in the first place and would've had that pick in 07 plus a 3rd... I believe
  13. I tell ya... those media guys give the Bills no respect. They give the Bills about as much repct as the Cardinals gave them a week ago.
  14. Well... consider it their wake up call then... But... I still think this D does not have the talent... especially in the middle and the one OLB... no LB depth at all... except DiGiorgio. Stroud has not lived up to his billing.
  15. what must be done to make the playoffs? Real simple... play some frickin "D" This defense has no balls... The front seven flat out sucks. The DT's are not getting any penetration. The DEs are not applying any outside pressure. Mitchell is a slightly better than average OLB, but he's not that fast... Real disappointed in POZ... but that could be because the DT's suck. The other OLB position is clearly undermanned... we need a man over there... not the girly girl Ellison. On O... I can't figure it out... Is it because the offensive line can't run block, or is Studesville incompetent as a RB coach?... then again you have rookie OC... another experiment.... is it all of the above? The bottom line though, as I said... this defense sucks.... they should be ashamed of themselves.... 380 yards to the frickin Raiders and in 42 opportunities to sack Kurt Warner last week they whiffed miserably... zero sacks... that is horrid and sums up this team's problem. This defense is adequate when they face an undermanned or crappy offense... but when they face a team like Arizona, San Diego, Indianapolis, New Orleans, Dallas, or Denver.... they are unmasked and perform like cheap tissue.
  16. Just what I've been saying from week one on.... this defense stinks. They've been playing bad offenses and were lucky to be 4-0. Two stats that don't lie from this game... 1) Arizona ran 76 offensive plays... that's pathetic. 2) the defense was 0 for 42. They had 42 oportunities to sack Warner... and whiffed all 42 times...trust me... the Cards oline sucks... that's how bad this defense is. Hopefully we'll have dink & dunk Trent to keep the pathetic defense off the field I'm calling it now... over the next 11 games, the Bills will be no better than 6-5... and that's if Edwards finishes all 11.
  17. You'll need to "splain" me on this. I'm not an advocate for time warner... just a 'bang for the buck' kinda guy. The only other options are a sattelite provider... and they don't provide the local chanels as I underand it... you have to usea secondary receiver/antenna/dish to receive the local chanels. But... do the satellite providers charge you extra for HD? yeah...most of em do. Then you have fios... but where's the HD There is no clear cut one is better than the other. I comes down to what your personal preferences are and what works for you. I'm a time warner subscriber... I don't have digital cable or the box... but I get about 85 chanels... 6 of which are in HD. I've considered other options, but when I stack all the options up and compare them side by side, time warner wins for me. I have 6 cable ready tvs (2 hd) running off a single cable line feed and a distribution box. No cable boxes. The same set up for a satellite system would require 6 receiver boxes and the fee that goes with it, plus HD fees if I want that option. That would easily double my current cable bill...and I don't see where double the money doubles my viewing pleasure.
  18. Does anyone know this "not to be fact"??? I sure as hell have concerns about this defense. At the very least the jury is still out on this defense. The Bills have not played a team that has an offense rated higher thatn 22... except Seattle... which, at the time, were banged up at receiver, RB and OL...and not running on all 8. Bills have issues at one OLB spot and the middle seems soft to me... even with Stroud.
  19. let me guess... everyone loves peter king now. A few weeks ago he was a moron and a POS. What have we learned here? Don't write or say anything about the Bills unless it is positive.
  20. McCargo's played in the last 3 games. On the season he has 0 tackles and sacks. I thought he had turned the corner late last season. If Stroud or Williams goes down, we are so screwed. I stated if before the draft... Bills need to give a high priority to DT and LB. Both of those positions should have been filled in the first 4 rounds.
  21. I'll go on the record now. This deal gets between now and the Chargers game or it ain't happening. At season's end Evans voids his contract and become a FA. Bills will probably slap the Franchise tag on him and then trade him.
  22. Hardy looks slow, lazy, sloppy ,and soft.
  23. Short handed Seahawks, Short handed Jags, Lowly Raiders, Lowly Rams. 4-0 is good, but how are the Bills going to stack up against a team that has a potent offense? We don't know cuz they sure as hell ain't faced one yet.
  24. Dink & Dunk Trent is not such a bad idea afterall. The longer the offense can stay on the field just keeping the chains moving will keep the defense off the field... cuz it stinks. Giving up 380 yards to the worst offense in the league? Geez... I can't say I'm looking forward to the defense going agaisnt a top 10 offense... and I'll bet they ain't looking foward to it either.
  25. Got your facts wrong Cat.... what about the hail mary from Fergy to hooks against the Pats... in 83 or 84 as time expired?
