  1. Well, the article begins with a paragraph extolling his virtues as a pass blocking great, utilizing their All-22 criteria. A good pass blocking Center is certainly a Must for a Daboll/Allen offense. In short, I don’t think our next Center is currently on the team.
  2. “… However, the Bills’ trip to Jacksonville started a negative trend. It was the first time an opposing team turned the passing offense into an inefficient unit, as the Jaguars dared the Bills to run and the Bills had no counter. It began the Bills’ desire to get the ground game going a bit more, and they tried a lot of different blocking and rushing principles to accomplish it. That brings us to Morse, who remains a good pass blocker and is an asset in run blocking schemes centered on athleticism. However, if the Bills are insistent on being more physical than the opponent with power run schemes, as they did at times against the Patriots, Morse will likely struggle. That was the case on Monday, as Morse easily had the worst game of his season and was a liability as a run blocker. He even showed some struggles as a pass blocker against bigger defensive tackles, which isn’t usually the case. Either way, the Bills needed a great deal more from Morse in a bad-weather game, where winning at the line of scrimmage was at the top of head coach Sean McDermott’s mind after the game. Over the last five games, Morse has a 2.42 GPA, and his season-long grade has plummeted. So it is fair to wonder what this means going forward, similar to last season when things unraveled with Morse.” This has been a topic of discussion since he arrived via FA. His contract is up and we’d save $8.5M to let him walk. For as efficient as he is in passpro and Allen’s security blanket, he’s a detriment in the run game. Most importantly, our opponents know this. I seriously think we bid him farewell this offseason, not bothering to tend him even a lesser contract. Feliciano has shown well at C vs. the run, not so well vs. the pass -or at Guard. If he is shown the door, how do we adequately rebuild the OLine to balance the offense? This has been a crappy weather season already, so Mother Nature has dictated a lot of what we can do offensively. No reason believe next year will be all sunshine and roses.. Are there players on the roster who can make the jump? Bates? Jamil Douglas? Jacob Capra? Ford?? Bobby freakin’ Hart??? (excellent article, btw, for subscribers)
  3. https://dailysnark.com/2021/12/09/breaking-ex-broncos-wr-demaryius-thomas-has-passed-away-at-age-33/ 33 ?😲? No cause given. Great player!
  4. You haven’t read the article yet are compelled to dis the narrative? 🤦‍♂️ Very Nextmanup of you.
  5. Take a Midol and stfu, Ma’am. (As for your ‘orientation’, just a wild guess..🤷‍♂️)
  6. https://dailysnark.com/2021/12/08/23-year-old-raiders-rb-josh-jacobs-expecting-9th-child-with-8th-different-woman/ Look out Travis Henry, Jacobs is after your record!😲
  7. I have to think this has been discussed at OBD as much as here at TBD. But doing so takes away his greatest aspect -covering the middle of the field on short throws. It’s in every teams’ playbook for Hot reads. WRs, TEs & RBs are always circling in this area. A couple Patriot* receivers made a multiple SB career out of it. Edmunds length is freakish enough that many QBs no longer even attempt this, but his best attribute is his speed to go along with his unique frame. Do we all wish he hit like Jack Lambert? Read plays like Willie Lanier and be ever in the right spot like Dick Butkus? Of course. But none of those guys faced today’s game. It’s a passing 1st game today and that area of the Defense has been easy pickin’s since the West Coast Offense first reared it’s head. Tremaine brings a dimension perfectly suited to defend against this. I think the onus is on us the fans to accept it and be grateful he can take away this prevalent aspect of today’s game. Now, being better at recognizing run schemes and keeping himself from being fooled in another direction is still a noticeable challenge, but this can be learned. Speed and gigantic reach can’t.
  8. Wow. I know you! - you’re Jethro Bodine, aren’t ya? Seems evident you only graduated “plum through the 6th Grade”.. 1st, it isn’t your money, so quit yer damn crying. 2nd, his ‘22 salary is average for starting MLB’s. Should the Bills (no, son, not you..) decide by next season they can’t get all of what they need from him as our starter (read Buffalo Bills 4th year starting MLB, Pro Bowler and Defensive Captain), they’re under no further financial commitment 13 months from now. These, my prodigal son, are what the Bills wish to do with THEIR money and Their player in the real world. Hot-headed nincompoops screaming from the cheap seats aren’t invited to weigh in. Obviously, I didn’t type slow enough for this to sink in.. 3rd, you weren’t asked to vote for team captains and Pro Bowl nor decided who plays where and how often. NFL coaches, players and select voters do -thus rendering your witless ramblings.. well, witless -as befits a Jethro Bodine. I hope you’re able to follow this explanation. I don’t care to -ya know, type slow again..
  9. Marv Levy enjoyed more than a decade (HC & GM) of kicking Miami’s a**. A career winning record vs. Shula when Don coached some great teams and had a HOF QB. But, yeah, the 70’s thing may take the year 2121 to overcome. Simply put, yourearoyalpainintheass. You’d be a bit more tolerable if you injected just a little humor in your posts. Ya know, confirm you’re not a dysfunctional Bot. Anyway, the announcers said it was Milano who was injured when the clock was stopped, then ran off more time since we didn’t have a TO. But Milano didn’t leave the field, so 🤷‍♂️
  10. A great player and a better Buffalo Bill. Talk about High Motor, Mark Pike wrote the book on it! A true WNY treasure with his tireless ‘give back’ to the community! Rest In Peace, #94.
  11. One last entry on the Pats*
  12. I’ve turned on the Tom signal.
  13. What exactly is “grand” about bidding adieu on a small market teams’ fan forum? Hell, the amount of Bills fans in WNY alone who've never heard of or visited here is an overwhelming majority. We regulars take pride in our little corner of the world, if only to find like-minded folks to commiserate with.. Like you and I, Casey has bore witness to the near entirety of this teams’ existence. With the exception of little more than a dozen years, this experience has largely been a forgettable debacle of misery and humorless comedy. Everyone here has stood graveside of a dearly departed who passed never experiencing an NFL or NHL title. I won’t even go into John Y. Brown.. We’re Buffalo. We suck and we seemingly always will. No one who doesn’t have family here, moves here by choice. Why are scenes from pregame last night being shown repeatedly across the nation today? Cuz it’s our image to the outside world. Our mantra. 🤷‍♂️ The man stopped by to turn in his fan card after a long life of broken heartedness, shattered dreams and anger issues. I commend our brother Casey and often wish I could do the same. I can’t. The chains that bind me are too strong. dammit..
  14. THIS particular thread topic gets rehashed every week here this year. Please use last weeks rendition to add your 2cents.
  15. Hi, Noob! Welcome to the Board. You can check out anytime you want, but you can never leave.. (maybe) Had you watched the game, you’d know I was referring to Bass’ final FG attempt, one drive before the last one. By missing this very short FG for failure to apply anti-windage, we were forced to go for a TD on the last drive. btw, the asterisk rightfully and forever attached to the ex-Boston team name is due to their never-ending cheating, much of which has been exposed, proven and heavily disciplined for. It will likely always be spelled this way.
  16. To @finns point, Bass, the ESPN announcers and everyone watching knew the ball would move dramatically from left to right down there. Pats* kicker proved it in the 3rd quarter with his short, heavy kick to the left whipping wildly right to split the uprights. Bass’ kick unfortunately was spotted on the right hash mark which meant he’d really have to kick wide left from in close just to pull it back with the wind. He didn’t. He kicked it straight on, thus watched helplessly as it trailed wide right. Hopefully, he’ll learn from this. Too bad it cost us the game for his education.
  17. just an aside, but for every damn crying thread filling up Page 1 here today, this is by far the most intelligent, balanced and thought provoking thread. Thanks for the contributions everyone -except @Sugar High JA17, who’s life expectancy is on mortal life support..
  18. The distinct absence of ‘Josh Allen late-game heroics’ has been a concern for me since the Tennessee game. When Jacksonville and now NE* games produced no necessary late game heroics, I now fear this once daunting magic aspect of our Super QB has sadly expired. I DON’T blame Allen for this latest travesty one bit. He was clearly our best player on the field last night -which is his greatest routine aspect. But the lack of accomplishing the final touch is as much contributing to these disastrous recent results as the overall poor team performances.
  19. AWESOME! I love seeing cretins blow themselves up in fantastic fashion! Goodbye, forever. 🤣 BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
  20. Showing your ignorance in fantastic fashion earns you style points. Glaring lack of understanding, not so much. I’ll type slowly so you may be able to comprehend. Applying the 5th year option gives the team one more season of coaching and growing with intent to mold this rare physical specimen into a HOF game-changing player. If unsuccessful, he’s released after next season with no future $$ obligations
  21. This topic being discussed in the -well, EVERY damn thread! Use the damn Search function or peruse topics to determine if you have a different topic to discuss. 🤦‍♂️
  22. Thank you @Gugny for finally bringing evidence to this thread.
  23. Damn, you’re a real charmer.. 🤦‍♂️ Yeah, you’re going to do great things here. I have a nose for this sort of thing. But, Hey! Welcome aboard! 🙄
  24. It was understandable when -as a teenager, he was thrust into a starting role because he’s an absolute physical freak. But now that he can buy rounds of cocktails while his unawareness remains staggering prevalent, his future here must be re-evaluated. To those crying we shouldn’t have added the 5th year option on the 1st Rounder, it was a shrewd option to see if he would finally grow into the role at the veteran age of 22 (Ha!). He hasn’t and the team can now opt to let him test FA after next season unrestricted by a ton of dead money for years after.
