it's like bringing home the hottest woman you could possibly imagine, only to find out she's got junk bigger than yours taped half way up her backside. There's no relief in anything either of us described. Just a ton of excitement followed by tragedy and horror.

According to McDermott, this works due to the excellent gap control between the car and trailer home. Complimentary carporting is key!

I wonder if the owner puts in low grade fuel and uses cheap tires?

A Civic can seem like quite an upgrade for a guy with 5 bicycles in his garage.

This is a tough one. Mahomes is making quick decisions and I don't see our D-Line getting to him quickly enough to take the pressure off our secondary. I expect Josh to be fired up, but he may have to play the Superman role if the Chiefs shut down the running game. If we're creative on offense and the D has a great game, I think it could be close. If we let Mahomes get into a rhythm, I'm not sure we have the weapons to keep up. Lots of iff's. I think this game will tell a lot about what this team is made of, coaches included, win or lose.

Gabe Davis and a 5th round pick.

Is this like the pronoun thing? Do we just get to pick one?

Joe Marino's 9 point plan for improvement

No old lady I know would consider taking help from either of them after seeing this defense. You need a sound strategy to cross a road safely. -

Pitchforks and torches? I do think this is still a good team and things will get better, but it's hard to blame folks for being frustrated. It's not unreasonable to expect coaches and management to learn from past mistakes and make improvements when weaknesses are exposed. There no excuse for the penalties / lack of discipline. The coaches know what we have and need to maximize the talent, even if it means adjusting schemes to match what they have to work wirh. I think the offense will get sorted out, but I'm losing faith in the defense whisperer and his ways. It's beyond ugly on that side of the ball. Reinforcements should help, but I'm not sure I trust the process to get this team to promised land. -
Plausible X/#1 receiver trade candidates — are there any?
Puckman5 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
I guess the question is what is going g to help more, a WR threat or a DB? To me, a true receiving threat that can open up the offense will have a greater impact than what a new DB can. Too many holes to fill in defense and who knows how long they'd take to acclimate to the McDefense. -
14 seconds could have been 13 or even 12 with a lesser defensive genius.

Anyone that's capable of "eating more" than who we already have. Someone with the ability to allow others to eat more as well would be a bonus. -
Hire Ryan Fitzpatrick as a part time consultant

Haven't we had enough tragic endings? Great competitor, fan and TV personalty, but...... -
Your grandma needs a shave.

So at 4-2, with a bye week and players coming back from suspension and injury, the season is "lost". I don't like what I'm seeing either, but Francis needs not lighten up a tad.

This thread has legs, and I'm starting to believe for good reason. The OP has opened my eyes to the possibility of controlling expected negative events to minimize that events impact on an overall outcome. Perhaps the Bills statisticians should have alerted the coaching staff of a predicted inflection point of rapidly increasing probability of a negative event. The coaching staff could have then determined the best time to take this negative event off the table by simply planning it when they felt it would do the least amount of damage to the season. I take back my previous snarky comment. You can't argue with logic.

Ridiculous stat that sums up the secondary play

That would require our DB's moving off their islands into shark filled water. Sounds risky. Sean? -

Bills Defense, will it get better as season goes on
Puckman5 replied to North Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall
This. Has a chance to improve when players come back, but there's been a trend of coming up small in big moments. I think they've played reasonably well so far given the injuries and new faces.
