  1. he'll be fine. overcoming adversity is his bread and butter.
  2. i relished the short time mike was with us.
  3. every single time i heard the dude's name i thought of this: every single time!
  4. i'm already stressing out that ej is gonna throw a pick 6 to this insufferable fool.
  5. "The inspiration came from watching the illegal street-racing flick "2 Fast 2 Furious," Peters said. In one scene, a car crashes into a barrier of water-filled canisters. The water explodes out of the canisters, dissipating the energy from the impact." coincidentally, the fast and the furious: tokyo drift inspired steve jobs to create the iphone.
  6. too much booze puffs donte up. remember when the cops tasered his dumb ass after he assumed "a fighting stance" outside that club a few years ago?
  7. totally agree. a better lie would have been, "jbj hasn't really talked to me about his intentions, but i think he'd make a terrific owner." instead his response came across as overly defensive and straight up damage control. if the report that keeping the team in buffalo is a requirement of any sale is accurate, i'm expecting that "i love buffalo -- those people are blue collar just like me!" press release from jbj any moment now, followed quickly by he and pegula having a casual dinner at tempo.
  8. thanks for posting this. i had never heard of him before. it sounds like he could have been a special player, and was definitely a great man.
  9. that moron probably doesn't even realize that "redskins" is a term of endearment.
  10. sorry, we already assigned you dogness. please submit his first progress report by the end of july.
  11. i've long pushed for a program whereby young posters are assigned established members to mentor and counsel them through their early activity. i know i wish someone was there to stop me that time i thought posting drunk was a good idea or to push the "cancel" button when i called someone a moron for his views on fitzpatrick. at the very least, it would have been comforting to have someone hold my hand and tell me it's all gonna be ok that time i accidentally stumbled upon the ppp board.
  12. yeah, big bad moderator, if you're not gonna weed out morons, then dogness will!!!!!!
  13. well, i guess we should be happy that it's not this:
  14. maybe he was doing laundry.
  15. yes. if you are a real fan, you will calmly yet clearly explain to her that girlfriends come and go but your love of the bills is, unfortunately, forever. as a result, you are unable to do anything on that sunday or any other sunday during the season regardless of how important it is to her. and you might not be able to do anything on the occasional monday or thursday depending on the whims of the nfl's schedule makers. if the choice is between her and thaddius lewis, you choose thaddius lewis -- and that's just the way it is. well, unless they move. if that happens, your weekends will be wide open, leaving you available for weddings, engagement parties, co-ed bachelor/bachelorette parties, gender reveal parties, bar mitvahs, bat mitvahs, tupperware parties, or whatever other flights of fancy she so chooses to sign you up for. regardless, enjoy the garbage plate.
  16. wrong. everyone knows that the best strippers and poles are in canada, not orchard park.
  17. pegula gets the hometown discount: $1.25 billion.
  18. in fairness to him, he was probably thinking about leodis when he made that comment.
  19. even though you know the ending, the video is pretty mesmerizing -- especially since you get to see all of his dry runs prior to the tumble. kinda like watching a trapeze artist swing back and forth before they make the big jump. one thing's for certain: dude loves sliding down railings. http://deadspin.com/new-video-of-bills-fan-falling-from-upper-deck-leads-to-1592548282
  20. not according to the ap: "The decision by the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board is similar to one it issued in 1999. That ruling was overturned in 2003 in large part on a technicality after the courts decided that the plaintiffs should have filed their complaint soon after the Redskins registered their nickname in 1967." http://www.buffalonews.com/article/20140618/AP/306189697/1004
  21. my understanding is that the earlier ruling was reversed due to a technicality (apparently the petitioners waited too long to file the complaint). i would assume that the more recent group has fixed it.
  22. actually, they can and should make decisions based on moral reasoning: "Since 1905 federal trademark law has banned the registration of scandalous or immoral marks. In 1947, marks that may disparage, bring into contempt or disrepute persons, institutions, beliefs, or national symbols were also banned. U.S. trademark law is not unique in prohibiting the registration of offensive trademarks. Many other countries’ trademark laws contain similar provisions." more: http://blog.constitutioncenter.org/2013/11/racial-slurs-and-football-team-names-what-does-trademark-law-say/
  23. i hear ya. i can't wait to die just so i don't have to see tom brady's face anymore.
