  1. Anyone but the Rams. We saw what a home field advantage in the Super Bowl is last year. With 2 hectic weeks for a team that has to travel & do all the press stuff vs being at home those 2 weeks, the difference is huge and is more valuable than a typical home team's home field advantage. Also, the price of Super Bowl tickets will skyrocket if the Rams are in.
  2. There are 2 problems with bringing Fitz back. 1) He has to be cleared medically 2) He has to be willing to take less money than his last few years. If we can get by those 2 things, I don't think there's anyone who wouldn't want him back.
  3. I think he read those conspiracy theories on this board and believed them.
  4. I think it's pretty ridiculous to question whether a player should play injured & risk further injury without an understanding of his medical condition. Unless the OP is Lamar's doctor his opinion is pretty worthless. As far as the media goes, anyone who crushes any injured player in the media also has a pretty worthless opinion.
  5. Edelman bet $50,000 each on NE & TB winning their conferences. If Tampa doesn't get to the Super Bowl he loses a total of $100,000. They brought this up on Inside the NFL tonight.
  6. I've seen a few posts in this thread linking the 2018 pick we got in the Mahomes trade to Josh Allen. That simply isn't true. That pick & the pick we got for Tyrod were traded for Edmunds. Allen was aquired with pick #12 (our own pick #21 + Cordy Glenn), our own 2nd & the 2nd we got from LA in the Watkins trade. It's actually more correct to link the Dawkins pick to the Allen pick. Dawkins emergence as a rookie enabled the Bills to package Glenn to Cincy with the 21st pick to move up to 12.
  7. I've never understood the fan mentality that thinks they have to act like the players & coaches should be acting. We're not playing in the game. If we trash talk on a message board nobody is going to hang it up in the KC locker room to rile them up. I always tell people to stop blurring the lines, you're not playing next Sunday night.
  8. For those of us planning to go to the Super Bowl if the Bills make it, it gives us a head start in getting Super Bowl tickets, and travel plans started over the NFC team's fans.
  9. He won't hit the rookie wall in future years.
  10. The Patriots aren't moving on from Mac Jones. He hit a rookie wall. He's never going to be a superstar but it's hard to upgrade from a guy whose best days may be in front of him. It takes years & a lot of luck to get a franchise QB. Nobody is trading for Watson until he is cleared legally & they know he will be available. The only possibility is a trade of future picks, none of them in the 2022 draft, which would be contingent on Watson being clear of his legal problems.
  11. You can have a favorite team & a 2nd favorite. I grew up in the suburbs of NYC. While I'm a Yankees fan, I also like the Mets & when I was living there as a kid and again in the 1980s I went to both their games & have been to both Yankee & Mets World Series games. As far as the NFL, I became a Bills fan in the early 1970s when I went to college in Fredonia & lived in Buffalo for a while in the late 70s & early 80s. My B team is the NY Giants & the only time I root against them is head to head vs the Bills or when I bet against them like the last week of this season. I've been to a few Giants games (not counting vs the Bills) and when the Raiders were in Oakland I used to go to games if they played Thanksgiving week and root for them. . In the NBA I'm a Nets fan 1st, but I get to go to Warriors games when I go out to visit family in the Bay area & I come home rooting for the Warriors. Just think of playoff games during the drought. Tell me you never end up rooting for a team & just watch the game as a neutral observer. I rooted for various teams all those seasons.
  12. He won't put a ring on Brittany. My guess is after the game she told him "If you get a ring, I get a ring.
  13. Only the ones who were looking at stats instead of watching the games.
  14. Remember this: This Bills team was built to beat KC.
  15. If it's Cincinnati vs Tennessee next week it will be Burrow vs Tannehill. I'll take Burrow over Tannehill 24/7.
  16. The other day I responded to a reply to one of my posts & after reading someone else replying to the same question I realized I replied with an answer that wasn't in response to what I said in the first post. I had to wipe out my reply & read my OP over again and totally change my reply.
  17. When you do you have to click" add ons" to get to parking.
  18. I've been watching ESPN's countdown show & among all the things said was when they were talking about the fact that there is a tarp over the field at Highmark because they don't want the turf to freeze & get hard which could cause concussions, Mortensen mentioned that the new stadium will have a grass field with a heating system underneath like in GB & KC. I have no idea how he knows that or thinks he knows that, but that's what he said.

  20. I was once on a Grand Jury where we indicted a bookie. They played tapes of him taking bets. The funniest one was from a degenerate gambler who sounded like he'd bet on anything. When he made his bet on some obscure college the bookie told him "If you can tell me where that college is, I'll pay you right now."
  21. The intro offer is only in NY, so you can't participate. They're also very strict on the "you have to be physically in NY" stuff. They have to be able to establish where you are betting from. Their locator works on my cell phone but it doesn't work on my desktop, laptop, or Kindle (incompatable with device), even after I downloaded their locator software on my desktop & laptop. So I have to make all my bets on my cell phone.
  22. They've had betting on games at Met Life next door at the Meadowlands racetrack on gamedays since they legalized sports betting in NJ. The only difference was that you had to put your bet in before the game. If you were a NJ resident & signed up for their online betting you can use your phone in the stadium the whole game. The only difference with the sportsbook in the stadium is you can bet without an account.
