  1. I was checking this year's prices. They were $10-11,000 the week of the championship games, early this week they were down to around $8,000 get in price. Here's the current lowest price ticket on NFL on Location. Their 15% fee is lower than a lot of others, so when you see a low price before fees the fees could be as high as 25-30% Order Details SUPER BOWL LVIII FEBRUARY 11, 2024ALLEGIANT STADIUM SEATS AVAILABLE: 6 - 23 * YOUR SEATS ARE GUARANTEED TO BE TOGETHER SECTION: 345 ROW: 13 QUANTITY: 1 TICKET PRICE: $6,929.00 SERVICE FEE: $1,247.22 SHIPPING: -- DELIVERY METHOD: MOBILE DELIVERY SUBTOTAL: $8,176.22 * KICKOFF CLUB HOSPITALITY AT SUPER BOWL LVIII Orders Summary TICKETS $6,929.00 SERVICE FEE $1,247.22 SHIPPING -- SUBTOTAL $8,176.22
  2. I've been to 6. The 4 Bills ones in the 90s, SBXLVIII & SB50. 1st one I went with the Disney package. I got a cheap flight to Orlando, got a rental car, stayed Thurs night & Monday night in Orlando & Fri-Monday morning at the Bill-Mar hotel in Treasure Island. 2nd one my friend Petrino (old poster here) won the lottery and I got a ticket at face value. I got the flight & motel through Travel USA & had to fly out of Buffalo. 3rd one Petrino won his 2nd straight lottery, we got a super saver flight to LA, split motel, & rental car prices & brought the whole thing in for about $750 each, 4th one we went with Travel USA/Santos Tours out of Buffalo. 5th one I went to was XLVIII at Met-Life. The ticket prices were the lowest in years because the corporate people didn't want to sit outside in February in NJ. I drove down the day of the game, parked at the Stub Hub parking, shuttle bussed to the game & back, and had a motel room in Ramsey NJ. Unfortunately, when I got back to the motel, I found out a snow storm was coming. I woke up at 4, showered & was out of there by 4:30. I was home in about 2 hours & went back to bed. 6th one was SB50 in Santa Clara. I have relatives in the Bay area & promised I'd go to the game with my nephew. He drove to Freemont, we took a bus to the game & back to Freemont & then I stayed at his house when we got back.
  3. Howell really didn't show much promise. In fact, he was benched at the end of the season, but then Jacoby Brissett got injured and they had to send Howell back out there when they had already given up on him.
  4. They made a movie called 80 for Brady about a group of old ladies who get together every Sunday to watch the Patriots & Tom Brady. They end up going to the Super Bowl. The group of seniors who are in a retirement home in Missouri are KC's equivalent of the ladies in 80 for Brady.
  5. You left out the high wire act on Monday Night Football in 1975 https://sportshistorynetwork.com/football/nfl/monday-night-football-fan-hanging-on-rope/ With so many fans across the airwaves watching the game, practically anything that happened during those three hours was going to be discussed along the next day’s work conversations all throughout the country. Well, what happened during the course of this game was in point of fact incredible…and extremely dangerous. An intoxicated fan…I say intoxicated, because no sober person would do what this moron did…decided to take a hold of the rope which held the placekicking net in place along the west end line of the stadium. The spectacle of this unnamed fan dangling at least 50 feet in the air above the playing surface while the game continued was unnerving, to say the least. Even the ABC-TV crew chimed in while watching this spectacle. Howard Cosell, a wordsmith for the ages, described this event as “…dangerous, disgraceful, and absurd.” The fan hung on that rope, as the fans and players watched. Many gasps could be heard over the airwaves, and certainly they were soundly heard by those who were in attendance and who were doing the gasping. This crazy fan hung on that rope for practically 10 full minutes until he somehow miraculously made it back to his departure point on the front row of the upper ledge of Rich Stadium. He then departed the stadium with several police and security personnel giving him a much-deserved escort.
  6. Rodgers, Hackett, Saleh & Douglas will all be gone in 2025.
  7. SEDALIA, Mo. (Gray News) – A group of seniors at a retirement community in Missouri is proving you’re never too old to be a Swiftie. In a video posted Friday, residents at the Primrose Retirement Community in Sedalia dressed in Kansas City Chiefs gear and held signs in support of Taylor Swift. Sedalia is located about 90 miles east of Kansas City. The group calls themselves the Primrose Sedalia Chiefs Cheerleaders. https://www.kktv.com/2024/01/24/senior-swifties-retirement-home-show-off-their-dance-moves-cheer-chiefs/
  8. QBs always make the coach. A lot of fans have it backwards. That's why I say a lot more QBs ruin coaches than coaches ruin QBs.
  9. I completed it on Saturday 1/27, E filed & it was accepted 1st thing Monday 1/29 when IRS opened up filing. Refund is in my bank account 1/31.
  10. I once microwaved an egg sunny side up. When I put a fork on it & broke the yolk, the thing exploded. Egg on the kitchen ceiling & my ears were ringing from the explosion.
  11. Here was the morning guys reaction. I remember Schopp was down on Josh for years.
  12. The same can be said for Zach Wilson, who can get hot occasionally. Funny how both got hot vs the Bills this season.
  13. Has anyone been able to stop Josh other than himself? When Josh has a bad game, it's rarely, if ever, because of the opponent's DC.
  14. Cleveland picked up a portion of Mayfield's salary when they traded him to Carolina. NE might get stuck doing the same thing. It's guaranteed, so that really hurts any trade value.
  15. 4th or 5th, based on the last 2 1st rounders traded. Mayfield:5th & Lance: 4th.
  16. Here's the only good news about KC back in the Super Bowl: If you hate Tom Brady, Mahomes is one step closer to dethroning him as the GOAT.
  17. It's actually just a tick under 10 grand when you add in the fees. When I thought the Bills were going to make it, I bought a round trip flight from Oakland to Las Vegas the day of the game. I had planned to fly into Oakland on the 9th & return to Albany on the 13th. I was going to have my sister drop me off for an 8:00-9:30 AM flight to Vegas & pick me up from a 10-11:30 PM flight after the game. It was the right idea since the flight options went up by about $200 and then sold out by last week, since the 49ers fans were thinking of doing the same thing. I ended cancelling the flight & up getting a credit that I can use towards a future flight. At least all I had done was bought the gameday flight. Last year I had to cancel flights, rental car, motel reservation, & parking. I was checking out ticket prices & the lowest after fees were in the $9-10k area. Now I won't be having a 10 grand credit card bill and will have saved around $11k.
  18. It was a general reply to both your & what you quoted about them running. Not really a direct reply to either one of you, more just expanding thoughts on the overall topic of both of them as runners.
  19. Lamar has thrown 2 endzone INTs vs the Bills. The TJ Pick 6 in the playoffs & the 2022 game in Baltimore-both Bills victories. I was at the game in Baltimore & when the Ravens had 1st & goal around the 5 yard line I turned to a Ravens' fan & said "Even if you score here, we're still going to win the game" Shortly after, Poyer picked Lamar off in the endzone. Then Josh drove the Bills all the way down the field, ran out the clock & Bass kicked the winning FG. Then yesterday, another INT in the endzone, killing off 3 or 7 points and being a major factor in them losing the game.
  20. 2 totally different styles due their size difference. Josh takes on tacklers and wants to bulldoze them over. Jackson is looking to avoid the tacklers & juke them out of their jocks. Both are very effective runners.
  21. Many of them were old Baltimore Colts fans who had their team ripped from them over a decade earlier & were starving for NFL football. They are hardly fake fans.
