That's when legendary Los Angeles Times high school sports reporter Eric Sondheimer tweeted an update on Rosen. According to Sondheimer, Rosen is attending one of the top business schools in America: Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Rosen's Wikipedia page lists a connection to Wharton. He is the maternal great-great-great grandson of Joseph Wharton, the co-founder of Bethlehem Steel and founder of the Wharton School. The varied interests that scared NFL talent evaluators is now allowing Rosen to pursue success outside of football, which might not have been his sole focus in life like most pro prospects. It'll be interesting to see what the future holds for the Southern California native.

Watching the Chiefs win another close game in the 4th quarter is just sickening.

I remember before that game I was warning people to be careful what you wish for, since I had been through the whole "we want Marangi" years. I even went so far as to call Peterman "Nathan Marangi" before the game. I went to the game & at halftime I had to call a fellow Bills fan & laugh at Peterman. After the game I went on one of the Bills message boards & posted an apology to Gary Marangi for comparing him with Nathan Peterman. Yes, Peterman was bad that day, but he was a rookie being thrown into the fire on the road. Marangi was in his 3rd season when he set the NFL record for completion % futility.

I don't think the NY media will find anything to blame Rodgers for. I watched the game & he still looked like the best player on the field.

Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield are having amazing career rebirths after being thrown on the scrap heap. When both were with Carolina & then Baker got waived, nobody could have seen their careers flourishing in 2024. It will be interesting to see what Minnesota does at the end of the season. Will they keep Darnold, sign him to a long-term contract & trade McCarthy? That would be similar to what the Rams did when Warner emerged & Trent Green was not needed. Will they let Darnold walk for nothing in return, since he's a UFA after this year? I can see the Giants being very interested in bringing Darnold back to Met-Life.

Marangi set the record for worst completion %. In 48 years it has stood the test of time & is a record that will never be broken. Also, Marangi never played another down in the NFL nor was he ever on an NFL roster after his disastrous 1976 season. Peterman has bounced around the NFL since his Bills days. Marangi was done after 1976.

You must have never seen Gary Marangi in 1976.

I remember that when the Bills signed Brohm off GB's practice squad a lot of fans were so desperate for a QB that they actually thought Brohm could be the answer. I got flamed by them when I tried to explain to them that our management at the time (Brandon, with Nix in the background) wasn't going to outsmart the other 30 GMs who could have signed Brohm at any time. The only thing worse than our QBs, was the front office who decided what QBs to draft,sign or trade for.

The narrative came from people who didn't watch the games & relied on stats. By the end of Josh's rookie year, I was convinced he was the long-term answer because I watched every game. I still believe that with any other non-franchise QB, that was a 2-3 win team. The O-line was the worst in team history and the WRs weren't much better. I was fortunate that NYS allowed sports gambling in 2019, because I had so much confidence in Josh, I made a killing betting Bills futures before the season began. Now I wasn't crazy enough to bet them to beat NE & win the division, but I did bet them to make the playoffs.

Here are the problems the Giants faced. The 2022 draft was a QB desert. As it turned out, the only QB worth drafting was Mr. Irrelevant, Brock Purdy. Only Purdy & Skylar Thompson, the last 2 QBs taken, are still with the teams that drafted them. The only 1st rounder was Pickett, who busted in Pittsburgh & was given to Philly for virtually nothing. In 2023 the 1st rounders were gone by pick 4. In 2024 the Giants only wanted one of the top 3, so when nobody was willing to trade with them, they were out of luck. When the Giants re-signed Jones, I thought they were nuts for not following the Beane model that the Bills did with Tyrod to Josh. Then I looked at the QB drafts since they got to NJ. Unfortunately, they got stuck from the moment they got there because they really couldn't follow the Beane model since their 1st year was a bad QB draft class and later all the teams at the top wanted QBs & were unwilling to trade their picks.

Tough beat for Dallas bettors.

I used to think that way, but Beane taught me a lesson in the 2018 draft. Instead of bottoming out, they acquired enough draft capital that they could be sitting at 21 and still move up & get Josh Allen. Beane proved that if you have a plan there's no reason to bottom out. All it took was Glenn, a player who had already been replaced by a rookie (Dawkins), to get to 12, and trading their 2 2nds to move to 7. Basically, the only commodities they gave up to move up from 21 were Glenn, Watkins on the last year of his contract, and their own 2nd. They also got lucky that 6 teams didn't want Josh Allen. Here's the Giants example why sucking doesn't help if you're not bad enough. The Giants settled on Nabers because the QBs they were interested in were gone by pick 3. Now Nabers is really good, but I'm sure Giants fans would rather have Daniels instead of Daniel.

He calls too many designed QB runs. Daniel Jones is no Josh Allen.

I've watched all but 1 Giants game (when the Bills played at the same time) and Nabers is amazing.
