Check out Curry in the '10 Ohio St. game--you can find it on YouTube (posted by "TMBDraft"). Curry looks pretty damn good. There's a play where he comes across the field and takes down the RB. Love the motor. BTW--he looks pretty good rushing the passer too! :-) Would find a space on the team for him if he's there in the 2nd!

Jersey boy too checking in too--although I know it's not a measure of a college coach's success and means nothing at all to most fans, Schiano's teams have always been in the top of the nation with their academic success and graduation rates (something his bashers have always ignored). This past year they were #2 in the nation under the "Academic Progress Rate" and #7 under the "Graduation Success Rate"--#1 for state schools. That's not too shabby when considering he did this while taking one of the nation's worst programs and turning it around (we actually made it to bowl games and won--we're also very well represented in the NFL). Though I'm no expert on coaching, I find it hard to believe that this doesn't mean something. Seems to be a pretty good reflection on the man. We'll miss him. This ruined my day.

Not sure if anyone brought this up but with the 10th pick we'll have a shot at the last "top tier" OT in this draft--either Reiff or Martin. Though neither appears to be a franchise tackle who would garner a big haul, the laws of supply and demand put us in a good spot. Is there a team drafting mid-round or a tad later who might get antsy (that's the key) and trade up? If so, we can still nab either Upshaw or Ingram and pick up another pick. If that happens, do you think we score an extra 2nd or 3rd? Either way, we get a player we need in the 1st and an additional "free" quality player. Let the bashing begin!!!!
